it would be the opposite feeling of the shooter with how the buttstock impacts his shoulder

A shot to the leg would still hurt. Plates do nothing for you there.

    >would it hurt?
If nothing else, emotionally. Shooting someone is very rude after all.

Crazy how this is the only video where almost no impact energy is shown and has not been replicated since.

        >Crazy how this is the only video
        No it's not.
        >has not been replicated since
        Yes it has.
        >almost no impact energy is shown
It has exactly the same energy as is delivered to the shooter anon. Spread out across a plate, that is little more than a push.

Crazy how you're such a dumbfrick you can watch reality unfold, have it explained to you so even a moron like you can understand it, and refuse to accept it because it's not like the fictional media you have consumed.

depends what you were shot with and where it hit a handgun or 22 rifle no.

I've seen this but the thing is I was shot with something from a couple of hundred meters out that hit my back right sholder blade. It felt like being punched by a sledgehammer, did not penetrate, had https://www.m-v-s.de/ Kevlar ceramic semi soft inserts. My while shoulder on the back was one massive black bruise. That well over 25 years ago and my bursas is so fricked that my right arm still feels like it has hunks of metal stuck in it. I'm sure getting shiot in a ceramic plate with a trauma plate and some 3A Kevlar where the force is dispersed across the area of the plate is fine but I can tell you getting shot is no fricking fun and that hit is hard

If you're a clerk you should probably have a pistol caliber bullet proof shield, with a locked door. It's kind of silly to just wear that around if you're not on a specific alert level that's detrimental to the function of it, armor degrades especially kevlar when you sweat or it sits around in sunlight. If you have to run errands to a part of town when they typically encase the clerk with a bullet proof casing then yeah I don't think it's that weird if you wear that shit under your hoody or jacket. It's only weird if you're trying to show it off on purpose. Even though their primary motivation is murder and theft of the clerk, they have an incentive to go after witnesses. There is no logical explination if you're a regular person to not have armor of some sort. If you look at left leaning politics and organizations they're all mentally ill people. Most of them are likely self medicating.

Actually not much. Not most aramids anyway. One did and was notorious for it zylon which is what yoiui are reguritating. Most kevlar sees very little UV because its covered...duh and yeah if it gets worn so hard and soak and fricked so the weave goes it may loose some strength but I have a lot of stuff like old BW flack vests and those panels work fine decades old. Kevlar panels do not magically stop working, zylon did and it caused a whole panic about 'out of date bullet proof vests'. Ceramic plates DO NOT go off. Well made and decently stored point black or euro aramid DOES NOT GO OFF. Zylon does which is why it caused a scandal.
