You are too late now. I'm nearly done finishing the kinks on my lightweight heavy duty AR build and it's about to reach a 10,000 round count where I will be posting everything on ARFcom.
That's what is keeping me from buying nods. I know they just sit around collecting dust just like my plates after I use them once or twice. Or even better just like the ps90 I bought to fight the goa'uld and I barely want to shoot it because of the cost of ammo, let along the energy bill of creating a wormhole.
Nah I use my nods every week just hiking around looking at animals and the stars, and I go on a night shoot at least once a month. I literally never wear my plate carrier expect to workout with it on sometimes, I don’t even like to shoot with it on anymore.
You're digging a dangerously deep hole.
I'll only buy one gun per year.
I'll keep my collection down to one or two calibers.
I'll never need to own more than one gunsafe.
I'll never own more guns than you own pairs of shoes.
I'll always know the exact numbers of guns I own at any time.
I'll will take each of my guns to the range at least once per year.
P.S. That is one ugly bat you own
I'm in that hole. No gun safe and 8-10 guns lying around, most of them loaded. Every single gun is in a different caliber. Have only taken the AR and the 9mm to the range in the last year.
To be fair though, I only own two pairs of shoes, work boots and dress shoes (to be buried in).
Build a gun safe out of an old refrigerator. It's cheap and you'll learn a lot. When you finish it you'll have a sense of accomplishment you can't get from just buying stuff too.
There are lots of things you can make safes out of, anything that has insulation built in makes for a good one because it offers a bit of fire resistant and they're usually well sealed meaning good to keep moisture out. I've seen some videos of people making functioning vending machine gun safes. Get creative anon.

You have to go back
No. Buying guns may give you a fleeting sense of joy but will never address the underlying existential neediness that drives your consumption. You will forever be chasing the thrill of that new purchase, yet find yourself waking up feeling empty and used-up after a few days, just regressing to baseline again and again.
Now, buying a brand new car? That's fricking happiness for life, man. You will drive it off the lot feeling good and then feel better every day you own it until you die.
My first gun was a Glock 23 that I bought because it was literally the only thing in stock due to BLM/COVID panic, so it's suboptimal size, suboptimal caliber, etc.
It still puts such a smile on my face every time I see or touch it that even if I end up with 1,000 rare and high end guns I know it will always be my favorite
I said that about my first gun too, then someone offered a trade for something I actually wanted and off it went. A few years down the road you'll get over it.
Happiness comes from within, Anon. You need to find the work that fulfills you and your heart will overflow with time. If that work isn't firearms, then don't delude yourself into thinking they'll do it for you. There's no magic bullet for happiness, you have to pursue it yourself.
For me, it's guns, computers, and fixing military vehicles (especially Bradleys). I'm one of the few people that actually enjoys being in the Army
If you have a rotation of (say 10+) guns and you also hit that perfect spot on the spectrum, you'll constantly be discovering what cool guns you already have. That...that is true happiness my friend. Example: Gonna go zero a gat I completely forgot I had and now can't remember if it was decently zeroed or not.

Maybe, it works for me.
Don't gotta imagine.
>imagine
Uhhhh
what kind of caliber would it take to kill this goblin
10mm silver bullet blessed under a blue moon by an albino priest trained in the rights of exorcism
I have a $10,000 set of nods sitting in my closet that remind me the answer is a deafening "no"

Lmao. I've got between 15 and 20 (lost count) all piled in a corner between my desk and the wall.
Based
I buy every turkshit gun I can get my hands on

That's so fricking redneck, I know what I'm doing next

Unfortunately not anon 🙁
you will temporarily but it will go away and you always want more.
consoom will fill the hollowness only temporarily.
Realize your own mortality and that there is no escape. Then buy a Henry Big Boy .44 and alot of ammo
No because toys do not change you. Change yourself or an hero (not with a gun, give those to other anons first).
Yes man, wasting your money on expensive toys always works.
better than sportscucks and car guys or whatever other goyslop hobby men have these days.

I have 0 weapons but if i needed to kill people i could do a bigger score than anyone in this board
The guns and equipment are not what makes you happy. They are for protecting what makes you happy. Like your nude figma collection.

God loves you. Welcome Him into your heart.

ALL THE REVOLVERS
Does he look happy?
He has enough money to keep a woman that doesn't love or understand him. I'm sure he's very happy.
I mean he has a lot of guns, he'd have to be wouldn't he?

Happiness is blasting clays with family and friends.
no, that requires real positive human contact, which you will never find here and are unlikely to find in this hobby if your main goal is collecting
