if Argentina was given 200 Cromwell tanks and they brought them to the Falklands would that have changed the outcome of the war?

Probably not. There was not a lot of things for a Cromwell to shoot at and what there was were decades newer and much, much faster.
isnt most tank use against infantry?
With that lousy excuse of an HE shell?
> assuming the shells pronouns
>Being this obsessed with trannies
in my defense 99% of people online I see talking about pronouns and having them in bio are straight libtards and theater type people
yes, totally
Charioteers, perhaps. Cromwells, not.
I always like how modern these tanks looked.
Not really. They lost the war in the air and at sea .and to a lesser extent they lacked artillery. If the conscripts they had stationed there were 100% committed to the fight they could have probably beat back the British landings without tanks.
But to what end? They had no chance of resupply or reinforcement and were occupying a resistant (yet polite) population that wasn't going to share their Sheppard's pie.
slow transport with 200 cromwells, you say?
No, they would have gotten stuck in the mud and the UK brought plenty of anti-tank missiles with them.
what if they were dug in like gun emplacements?
They can still be popped by AT weapons and artillery.
Turning a mobile weapon system whose mobility is its single greatest asset into a static emplacement, therefore turning it into an easily eliminated fixed target. Are you by any chance Syrian?
the implication of the post I was replying to is that the mud would make mobility impossible
Don't forget that argies already had TAM - Marder IFV with tank turret and L7 cannon.
What are these low effort posts trying to slide?
No they would have gotten wrecked by harriers.
> cover them in branches and shrubs
> harriers looking for tanks
> instead see moving plant growths
> fly circles in confusion
> burn all fuel
> go back to carrier
> its already 7 bong and time for tea
>see falkland terrain
No, even the CVRTs got very little use. Not armour country.
would this have worked?
Poor cross country, an ATV set up like that would be a good option though.
During the Falklands War the Argies had a brilliant idea, to bomb the marines using Lancaster bombers sadly the argie command decided not to.
What Lanc squadrons remained serviceable by that time?
>Cromwells
>Against Vulcans
