With your cover as an artist, the resulting haircut does not matter as the artists I know usually have a completely fricked up haircut anyway.

So watch a youtube video or two, then go at it. If it turns out bad, just say it's intentional.

he must be either a shitty artist or someone who doesnt have time to get a haircut
i hate getting haircuts, its always either an old frick who wont stop talking or some teenager i have to wait an hour and a half for
i used to have a hairdresser who was fricking great, took 7 minutes to do my haircut, a total pro, i had to go looking for him because he would leave the salon open and just frick around with his friends in nearby stores but he moved away

first of all you post pictures of a flaming homosexual so you caught second hand gayness pray for forgiveness before the aids takes you
I never watched his or any hair styling video but you can just know how gay that queer is from seeing the suggested video pic
    >use electric hair cutter
    >no battery powered junk as those are never good enough for cutting all the hair on a head so you will take 2 hours to finish from waiting for the battery to recharge
    >install blade guard of desired length
    >push it all over your head until all hair is cut to same length
    >some hair at the top of your head can lay a different way that makes it hard to cut correct length so be ready to pull and feel how long those spots are might need to trim a little with a scissors
trimming around the ears is optional
cutting all of your hair to exactly 7/16 and saving yourself $15 is a very chad thing to do
you don't need to see the back of your head you should be able to pull it and feel what its like but you might want a hand mirror + the medicine cabinet mirror to look anyways
    >pro-tip can't see anything in that mirror your mom gets hair spray on? toothpaste
    >toothpaste is a fine polish that will clean any mirror or glass and is easily washed off with water
if you are a girl with long hair I have some ideas of how to do this

Unironically get a Flowbee. My brother in law is a barber not only does he use it on himself, but he says he'd use it at work if he thought he could get away with it.

I dont know how to cut my hair, so I just grow it out and cut the dead ends off every year. If having long hair is a problem, just shave your head, you literally cant frick that up.

    Simple as.

I've cut my own hair for 12 years. I have these two things. Takes like 15 min but I just use 1 size of the guides for my whole head.

      balding? lol.

Yeah, I bought balding one so the blades themselves don't adjust. There is only one setting, 0. I kept hitting that stupid lever and sliding the blades on my old one.

interesting thanks. i'm still not sure exatly what the lever does.
i use it for shaving, use the lever open to start so it doesn't clog immediately and then close it down to finish.

It's easy. Follow this 2 step process.
    >1. Cut some hair.
    >2. Cut the fricking rest of them.

I normally cut to finger height all the way around and just tune up all the edges in the mirror. I start out using the off hand to gauge height, but after a few minutes I can cut to height without gauging every time. If you need a haircut with special shit then you'll have to learn how to do it.

I use a number two attachment for my machine, and cut my hair once every six months. I've cut it all off a few times just because it's quicker, but this is a cold country so it's not worth saving time like that.

You'll need a mirror, or at the very least a hand mirror you can lean against something. Also, you will want a barber's sheet to stand on, or you're going to cover your floor or carpet in lots of little hairs.

Get yourself a good quality, but simple machine. The $5 ones will dull quickly or the motor will break quickly, even though haircut is something you won't do often.

I charge my haircuts to my dad's credit card. And when I pluck my eyebrows is the only time I wear my cheap ray-bans.

      >Also, you will want a barber's sheet to stand on, or you're going to cover your floor or carpet in lots of little hairs.

You can also vacuum it for two seconds. The vacuum cleaner gets it all -- blonde hair, dark hair, tinned copper and VW1 copper.

I got a system for cutting my own hair. Electricity trimmer with a size 13 clip on it. Then I just go all around the sides and back with it. For the top of my head, I use the same 13, but this time I just run my fingers through my hair and trim the hair poking between my fingers. Then I just make a conscious effort to leave the hair in the front on top of my head slightly longer

    For mid-long haircut :
I use guides made from a carton of juice/milk soup to have consistent length. (Numbers are the length in cm.) Put some hair inside, hold it with one hand and cut it with scissors with the other hand. Cut each strand in several strockes at slightly different lengths. I do that on wet hair.
I start attaching the hair on top on my head and cutting the back and sides, with the smaller guides. Then the top with a longer guide.
I have long curly hair, it doesn't need to be precise. Maybe it's not a good idea to use this method on straight hair.

I've cut my own hair for the last 10 years.
I've gone to different hairdressers maybe 5 times in those 10 years and they could never cut it as well as I can myself. I haven't been to one for maybe 7 years, and I'm never going back.
You need one big mirror and good lighting.
You need a hand held mirror. ca. 10x20cm
you need a trimmer that you can 'slide' out in length. (don't buy those electronic ones with touch panels, or the ones with multiple clip on spacers)
Something like the Philips HC3000 series is great.
I've used a couple of these philips machines and they're great and cheap. It's great quality for the price.
The other thing you need is a good pair of scissors like your pic related, to cut the top hair if you don't want it short.
    everything else is bloat.

When you want to see it in the back, you stand with your back to the big mirror and look into the handheld mirror in front of you, to see the reflection behind you. You can then hold the trimmer in the other hand and cut it while you can see what you're doing.
You do the same thing for the back part of your sides.

It's easier to make it look good down to a certain length(depending on how much waves/curls and how thick your hair is) and if you cut it shorter than that, every mistake is easily seen.
so the very short hairstyles can be more difficult. Especially if you want a fade. I can do it easily now, no problem, but it took me maybe 7 years to learn it properly.
The longer hairstyles are more forgiving because the hair falls and covers the mistakes more easily.
I've made mistakes several times where I had to cut it much shorter than I initially wanted. Usually by going to quickly or angling the trimmer the wrong way.

The top looks good but if you trim the sides and the back with a trimmer a bit shorter, it's going to look much better. even if you don't cut it much shorter it will look better just because it's cut in an even length. With that length on the top, the hair on your sides shouldn't touch your ears as much as it does if even at all.
You hair will look good easily, because of the way it falls and how thick it is. My hair type is very similar. I've cut several other peoples hair, and I can tell that yours would be very easy to cut.
