I want a pocket rocket. This one felt the best, compared to the Glock 43, M&P Shield, and whatever the little Ruger is.
What’s the drawback, other than possibly availability? They seem a bit more expensive and a bit harder to find.

yeah
there is no draw back. it's a spectacular gun. some people will bitch about a lack of an optics cut but you wouldn't want a red dot on a gun that small anyway tbhwa.
I can get one with some sort of safety right? Even though it’s made for holsters I’d like to be able to throw it in my pocket without blowing my balls off
G43 is cheaper and I like Glocks, but every time I picked up the G43 and aimed down the sights I felt like I had to change my wrist position, but the Sig just felt natural. I suppose I could get used to the Glock though and put the savings in gun-cost toward more practice ammo
It felt pretty good as-is. Sadly Bass Pro only had the sand colored one
They feel very good in-hand
>They feel very good in-hand
so do most pistols. they're made to be held in a hand.
You can get a safety for it. The safety is kinda small, but that’s par for the course in a gun that size.
Can you get a factory one with a safety or do you have to get an aftermarket one
yes, it’s an option that sig offers from the factory. I don’t think it’s possible to retrofit a safety onto the non safety models.
smaller than a g19 in every dimension and weight, but i guess they could broadly be described as “similar”
You can buy the parts from Sig to add a manual safety, takes a few minutes to install. Though youll have to make make a cut-off on your grip or buy a new one with it cut.
mine was cut for an optic out of the box, what you mean?
you have an X or an XL then. the regular p365 isnt optics cut
they have the regular cut for optics now
used g43 is the way to go. pretty decent trigger as far as glogs go and i it doesn't weigh much loaded.
Aside from the FN Reflex, it remains the best micro compact striker fired 9mm. Good holster selections, relatively cheap magazines, and modular. The X version is worth the upgrade. The only thing that the Reflex has over the P365 and its variants is the better trigger.
It is the best micro-compact gun you can buy and if you don't like how it feels, you can always drop the FCU into a bigger or smaller grip with a bigger or smaller slide.
>It is the best micro-compact gun you can buy
the only thing the 365 does is have a novel magazine. the trigger sucks and they're not even that reliable.
the magazine isn't novel anymore and yet it's still better than all the clones. go figure
>the trigger sucks
yes, it's a striker gun meant for CC, that's the idea.
these people need to fire some shitty DAO triggers from the single stack poly carry pistols we had before to get some perspective
>Trigger sucks
I was surprised how accurate I was with mine, and it's still better than a Glock trigger
>Safety
Yeah they make a variant.
>Pocket
Sure, this technically fits in a pocket but, this is a fat bitch and you have to consider how bad that's going to make your draw from the pocket.
>It's not fat!
For a pocket gun it sure is
A standard p365 can easily be thrown in a pocket.
just pray the under 4lbs trigger on the fully cocked striker doesn't accidentally snag against something
Safety
yes then I can agree with its pocketability. I've never had an issue with the P365, and it certainly has a better track record than P320, aside from the shitty finish Sig applies to the metal surfaces. But it really should be used with a safety if you plan to carry it in anything but a robust safe holster. The trigger is just too light and easy for a fully cocked striker to not have safety.
You people completely miss the point EVERY TIME. Yes it fits into the pocket. Now go through your jeans and try to quickly pull it out of your pocket from your holster. It's slow, clunky, awkward, additional synonym. It snags. It doesn't like draws from less than perfect angles.
>But anon, drawing from the pocket is always bad
It's way worse with a 365 than, say an LCP
Honestly if it’s in my pocket I know I:not getting to it quickly. It’s a sacrifice.
It seems my superiority has led to some controversy
26 is obsolete
>inb4 magazine interchangeability
Just get a 19 contrarian homosexual
Why is the 26 bad? I’ve shot one, it’s a bit snappy but it isn’t bad.
Gun is gun
Even the xl with rds, light, 17rd mag I have no issues concealing it.
Much better than any Glock or shield I tried. The non xl felt way too small.
How much bigger is the xl? Similar to a Glock 19?
Smaller and noticeably slimmer. Makes it way easier to conceal.
all guns bigger than pocket carry guns are about the same concealment-wise.
Maybe length width wise, but slimness makes a huge difference.
These are only $35 online. I guess you could subdue your enemy and try and orgasm them to death. Im sure thats the vegan friendly option
Imagine giving Sig your hard earned money after all the shit they've pulled over the last decade
All gun companies are shady israelites/joomers.
Yeah and Sig has them beat
The 365 is great except for the finish. Pocket rockets finish matters more than a regular compact because you will ptobably carry the micro compact more in the summer and sweat on it a lot. The FN reflex has a better trigger and finish, but worse holster support. If you're deligent with oiling your pistol you will be fine with the sig, but I do think the reflex is better at the same price point.
If the rust issue is that bad I’d just get a Glock, I can get used to the wrist positioning and they’re noticeably cheaper
A finish that terrible on a carry gun is inexcusable and is all the reason needed to buy a different gun
I remember this being posted when people were spamming the board with sigger spam
I'm just going to wait for HK to finish their SFP9CC/VP9CC, their finish is at least solid.
why is your gun constantly exposed to moisture? You can clearly see water spots all over your slide
That nigga damp as hell
His entire lower half is swamp.
>Covers slide in water
>Leaves it be for a while to rust
>"Oh my God I can't believe my gun that's drenched in water rusted this is outrageous"
WARNING!!!! if you buy this gun people WILL get irrationally angry at you on /k/ for owning a sig product
you have been warned
It’s unhinged how upset some people get at the fact that Sig just makes a superior product. Especially the Glock fanboys.
I was about to say that
You mistake disdain for hate
You need to be removed from the gene pool, but Sikh Sauer guns will do that for you automatically
Damn, at least one came out the woodworks
sig just works
>premeditated fallacy of saying everyone that disagrees with you is stupid and irrational
the siggers are rats, like israelites
Go back to arg fag and keep crying about siggers being everywhere. YES SIG DOES STUPID SHIT AND NO ONE BUT BAITING RETARDS WILL DISAGREE WITH THAT.
>oy vey you're antisigmetic, you must be from x. I'm a reasonable person and i buy sig
(You)
So you don't know what projecting means?
I do, you don't
Well you've earned your retard card punch and irony pill today
I’ve been super happy with my p365 these past few years. The manual safety has even grown on me. I can keep one in the chamber, and keep it in my pocket if I wanted. It’s really a top tier beater gun for me
Forgot my pic
still waiting on hk's version of it
same, I had a p365, shield plus, LCP max, didn't like any of them really. Hoping HK will let me pay $1200 for one.
why are they so in love with paddle mag releases?
Presumably because they have some big LE customer or whatever that wants them
Because it's superior. They'll have a button for you complainers.
Standout from competition. And it works just as well, arguably better and they have experience, spares and tooling for it, why switch?
Are HK niggas the applefags of the gun world
>thoroughly tests before releasing even at the cost of being late
>site dedicated to replacement OEM and third party parts
>products still available after 30 years
>focused on contracts rather than plebs
Not the guy you're talking to but would it be more appropriate to say that hk overall makes quality and reliable firearms but has a fan base that is as retarded as apples?
if they think they're better because they buy hk, yea, but at least they have reason to be somewhat proud. applefags buy heavily mark-up'd, planned obsolescent trash that is made to only work in a tightly controlled ecosystem.
I just hate the smugness that some hk guys have
>hksisters, look at this anon
>he doesn't even have an hk
>look at how poor he is
>focused on contracts rather than plebs
not a good thing
Be careful not to fall into the aftermarket rabbithole, it gets very expensive.
I’m not a consooooomer I just want a comfortable gun that goes bang when I pull the trigger and conceals easily
How do you like the mischief grip?
Breddy gud, really well machined and the weight helps a bit with the recoil impulse.
I just ditched my P-365xl because it started ratteling. As the frame gets older/sees more use the take down lever loosens. I traded it in and got a Glock 45 instead.
The 365 never had a single issue cycling and was very nice for EDC in many ways. Sig pissed me off when they said the rattle was fine and basically a feature.
So this is a double stack Glock with a short 4x slide?
19 slide/barrel, 17 frame
Wtf that sounds weird to carry
Full grip and short slide is ass backwards
It not as weird as you might think
Why the G45, bro ? I kinda regret not picking a 34 overall.
They're good guns, better design than a P320 thats for sure. Do be aware some older models have issues with the rear frame pin walking out under recoil so try and find a new one.
Assuming the handgun freeze ends in Canada, are there any Sig P365 out of the factory with 106mm or longer barrels? 105 and below are prohibited here 🙁
It seems some importer put a threaded barrel on a P365XL and imported it, so yes in theory.
I would totally buy a P365 if they introduced it with an even longer slide with a 4.25inch barrel and with the 17 round grip.
Shalotek makes exactly that and a pretty nice 17 rd aluminum grip as well
>Shalotek
huh that's awesome, didn't know about this. So all one needs is the FCU and you can buy the rest of the stuff from shalotek?
Basically just the fcu and a slide completion kit (striker, extractor etc)
ngl, the FLEX 365XXL-17R prebuilt packages are quite a decent deal if one already has a P365 that you want in a completely new package. Just under a thousand for everything except the FCU.
If it feels the best get it but remember you're giving money to nig nogger in the process
The only Sig worth buying t.b.h. The FN Reflex has it beat if you don't want a safety and can handle a longer barrel. Internally hammer fired should be inherently more reliable. P365s seem to be fine after their first year teething issues. Not really pocket guns unless you're a fatty though, you'd want a .380 designed for that like an LCP or Bodyguard.
They are solid little pistols, but make sure you get a chance to shoot one before you buy it. Pocket rockets sacrifice a lot in terms of ergonomics and recoil mitigation to get that small. I have owned a 365, glock 43x and 26, Springfield hellcat, ruger ec9s, and taurus gx4. Did not like the hellcat or 43x, just didn't fit my hands well. The EC9S just feels cheap, has the worst trigger out of all of them, but functionally is fine. The 365 is weirdly narrow at the top of the grip, and bites a bit if you don't death grip it. I had a hard time with follow up shots, it did not point naturally for me. The factory tritium sights are nice though. The 26 is just a short 19 that you can get one less finger on. Sold or traded all of these since none really was a good fit for me. The gx4 I impulse bought when it was on sale last Christmas ended up being my favorite out of all the micro 9s I have tried, comfy to shoot, good follow ups, accurate. The mag release is super sensitive and even a slight bump will drop the mag. Apparently this is a common thing, most people just stretch the spring a bit and it fixes the issue. I have a hard time finding small semi-autos that I can shoot well, as I am a fatass who spent the past decade doing manual labor, so my hands/fingers are very thick for length. Not everyone is going to have same experience with micro 9s as I do. Until I address the mag release issue on the gx4, I've reverted to ye olde J-frame as a pocket/backup gun.
Only thing I don't like about mine is that you need a fucking hydraulic press just to load a mag or you risk breaking your thumb. None of my guns require anywhere near as much force to reload a mag than my 365, it's insane.
It feels great in the hand but I test fired one before buying it and I just can't get behind owning one after that. It's a nice enough gun and I get why it's so popular but having fired one myself I just didn't care for it.
Shake awake
It's a feature not a bug
tiny gun w/ aggressive porting is the way to go
Idk I feel like when I point a small Glock I have to angle my wrist in a wired way, whereas the sig just feels natural
the square grip does cortort your hand a bit but that actually prevents you from gripping the trigger too high up.
Plagued by a myriad of issues upon release, some of which persist today. I can’t really think of a reason to buy it over a shield plus. Sig is also shady in general and one of its best selling guns of all time had an issue with discharging without the trigger being pulled.
If not the sig what little 9 should op carry
G43 bcuz you cant limpwrist it and the trigger doesn't suck
M&P shield, G43, hellcat are the most popular options
