I tried to make a Ukrainian deck in Wargame

How accurate is it? Obviously I couldn't add blufor units and I really didn't feel like photoshoping stuff but in my understanding most of the fight done by UAF is still done with soviet equipment.
I also gave prevalence to certain more obscure units which are vital to get some advantage in specific scenarios.

I mean any amount of soviet gear is going to fit as a Ukraine deck because that is the lionshare of their gear. It isn't really that hard to get something believable. If you're shooting for a specific formation that'd be different, but you can pretty much toss anything that was widely issued before 1985 in and be reasonably accurate.

Not sure what your point here is OP. Are you having withdrawls? Go suck a dick homosexual, you'll feel better.

      >Pic related how leftypol undoubtedly believes the war is going.

      >T-62
      >BTR-70
      >BMP-3
      >BTR-D
      >Spetsnaz on MTLB
If you replaced the T-64s with T-72s it'd be just today's russia.

I could have added VDV for extra-lulz

op, if you want realistic ukr deck you have to learn French and mod us stuff for soviets. Anything less is not worth mentioning

I made some skin mods back in the day, is actually not that hard, it's just I am lazy.

Oooh, is it any good? What about Warno and Steel Division?

Warno and Steel Division deal with an entirely different crowd of people they are not like Wargame and will absolutely not make you happy if you want more Wargame.

Neither is a bad game but they're just not it.

        >you wont like warno if you like wargame

no. you wont like warno if you want to make mixed decks , which turn the game into a shitfest.

both warno and sd2 are superior games to wargame

They are absolutely not comparable. They might be superior games for yourself. I'd recommend at least checkin them out to everyone but dampen your expectation if you want a Wargame.

I have 20 hours in Warno now and over 250 in ALB and Red Dragon.

Wargame might be a little more gamey(ranges/speed) and has a more expansive deck building and "prototypes" roster but what do you think is the actual substantial difference?

To me Warno just has some slightly simplified unit controls and quality of life improvements. It just feels like a more polished version of Wargame.

              >It just feels like a more polished version of Wargame.
It's more forgiving for sure. You need less micro and can automate the game-parts of Wargame. In every other regard it's lacking and unpolished. Lack of content, units, maps, and even the awful UI are noteworthy.

Tho they will probably sell you DLC on a per-division basis like SD. It's easier to pump out recoloured divisions with some unit-rearrangement than to create an entire new nation roster like Israel or SADF.

What's so great about Warno? If the answer doesn't involve T-72 zerg rushes I'm not interested.

Some people like the "realism" of being restricted to Divisions. It also comes with upgraded graphics and sound. Tho they reused assets from SD.

Just try it out, it won't harm you.

Dunno if Red Dragon has BMDs, but there were a lot of those burning on day one.

Meh, watching the war led me to realizations that made me stop playing Wargame altogether. I'll name a few:

    >Conventional arty can totally kill the shit out of modern tanks
    >ATGMs are effective against infantry, your only real concern is squandering them
    >Also using ATGMs on the offensive isn't a bad idea, they're useful against entrenched positions
    >By the way entrenchment is a thing and Wargame is fucking gay for not including it
    >The way recon works in Wargame is just completely pants-on-head retarded, everything about it is just wrong
    >In CQC infantry quality hardly matters, conscripts and professionals alike mostly just hide around corners, throw grenades and magdump
    >Anti-ship missiles make sea-to-land combat practically impossible
    >No one in their right mind would ever attempt a heli rush, the risk to reward ratio is simply retarded

At least people stopped bitching about support decks.

Wargame has never been a simulator anon, the only good thing it had going for it was existing in a time when RTSs were stuff like Starcraft, Generals and Company Of Heroes. Compared to shit like that (fun as it is) of course it was slightly more realish

There's quite a few questionable units for a Ukrainian deck, but the one that stands out most to me is
    >Yak-38
Why the fuck is this in a Ukraine deck?

Also gaze upon the horror that is the training Yak-38

Napalm, I like to use napalm to block specific choke points and it appears Ukraine at one time inherited a few Yak-38s

Finnish deck is probably closer to a Ukrainian deck, too bad they're on Redfor instead of blue

    -Ukies don't operate BMP-3, swap for BMP-1 or 2
-As pointed out, definitely no Yak-38
    -Needs more Mi-8 gunships
    -Needs more infantry, preferably truck-mounted
    -Naval needs land-based AShMs
