I tried cocaine and LSD only once 8 years ago, I more recently tried mushrooms about 4 years ago only once, and I've smoked weed frequently for 7 years but I haven't smoked in 2 years. As you can see, quite the colorful history.
Possible mitigating factors: long period of time since last use, infrequent use, no criminal charges, no dependency.
I've really been able to change my life around, I'm in college going for my degree, I volunteer frequently, I'm in a few different clubs in school, and I also have stable employment history. I made some mistakes, but I don't plan to use drugs ever again and I think I can make a strong case in my waiver letter.
That's... assuming I even get that far. What are my chances of one, getting a waiver, and two, getting it approved?
