I now have permanent hearing damage. 6 rounds of 7mm Rem Mag and my right ear is permanently slightly deafened and if it gets smaxked the tinnitus flares up for a few minutes

Congrats on losing the genetic lottery and having weak ears. Here, have a (You) for your pain and suffering
>smaxked
Frick
I was handling .44 Mag and .30-06 but the 7mm was the tipping point. Sounded more like an explosion than a gunshot. It was like listening to a super bassy song at max volume on a car x 10000000. 0/10 probably doing it again at some point
Good news, it's not actually permanent.
You're gonna die at some point.
Can you pass tinnitus on to your children ?
Do people that lose limbs have stumpy kids?
I'm working on finding out
Only if it's genetic. If you're born with hearing loss and tinnitus, it's quite a bit different than acquiring it.
Depends. People have stronger/weaker ears based on genetic factors. If you're prone to it then your children will be prone to it too.
why are there moronic Black folk in this world that STILL hunt without hearing protection when there are electronic ear plugs and suppressors out there
>hunt
No, I just forget earpro a lot and I'm not turning around
YouGetWhatYouFrickingDeserve.rar
Black, the small compartment in every grip of all my guns or in the buttstock has foam earpro in it. Should I forget the active one I still have these because they come with the gun. There you go, never shoot without earpro ever again.
Anon buy a pack of foam ear ones for like $10 and leave them in your glovebox and this can all be avoided. Or put a pair in the coin pocket of your pants, they dont melt in the dryer
I carry foam ones in my car now
Yes
are you actually moronic
The thing people don't understand about hearing damage is it's cumulative. You could have probably handled a single shot easy with no damage, but repeatedly with no ear pro fricked you. You should at least keep some foamies in the car if you're so moronic you keep forgetting your muffs
Keep posting your L's.
>moron doesn't use hearing protection and suffers the consequences
Good, I hope your pain will be an example better men can learn from you stupid c**t.
How do soldiers on the front lines deal with this then?
They either wear electronic earpro or they suffer permanent hearing loss.
Were there a bunch of deaf civil war vets? You never read about that
Most likely. If you ever met any WW2 or Vietnam vets most of those guys were deaf as a post and it wasn't just because they got old. Plenty of guys that served in the earlier half of the GWOT have tinnitus and hearing loss.
Yes, thats where those giant ear horn things come in to play
you do actually. the trope of the deaf war vet is fricking ancient.
WHAT!?
It'll go away in a couple of weeks.
Don't frick up again though moron.
moron does something moronic and suffers consequences. News at 11.
The upside is a Ukie thread probably died for this.
wear earpro you moron
