0/10 fricked up. You just bought the best 1911 on the market for money/value.

All you need to change out is the trigger and the grips and you have a great gun.

      Thats RIA.

Should've gotten an armscor with a rail and better sights.

Cast frames arent better than fully forged tisas.

the only reason i bought a TISAS was to put stupid shit on the grips. I'm not paying several thousands for something i can do for 60 dollars a week for a few months at a pawn shop
I've literally only shot my gun like four times

      based
best part of having a 1911

Everything I see about Tisas is it's pretty much the best value 1911 out there

shoot two boxes of ammo without stove-piping and you're in the top 1% of 1911 owners.

Not at all. The are excellent guns. Even if they were 2x the price, they would still be a good deal.

That's what I did the first trip to the range with it. I think the stories of 1911s being unreliable are just stories. Either that, or I got lucky with mine.

        >I think the stories of 1911s being unreliable are just stories
Not necessarily, it just only holds true to the era of 2000s 1911s with external extractors, in particular the Kimber 1911s which were complete junk.

Some 'mid range' ones cheap out on the whole tight tolerance thing by making them actually bind up and then you've got to 'break in' the thing so it'll actually function well. friend of mine got a springfield 1911 that was a total piece of shit because of that

You didn't frick up. Grab some jeans, a Hawaiian shirt (not boogaloo gay shit but a normal one, preferably red and white) and some cowboy boots. Grow a solid stache and embrace the 80's vibe
