HIBEX and frens accelerated and went even faster as truly point interceptors. >The "HIBEX" (HIgh Boost EXperiment) missile is considered to be somewhat of a design predecessor and competitor to the Sprint missile, as it was a similar high-acceleration missile in the early 1960s, with a technological transfer from that program to the Sprint development program occurring.[15] Both were tested at the White Sands Launch Complex 38. Although HIBEX's initial acceleration rate was higher, at near 400 g, its role was to intercept reentry vehicles at a much lower altitude than Sprint, 20,000 feet (6,100 m), and it is considered to be a last-ditch anti-ballistic missile "in a similar vein to Sprint".[2] HIBEX employed a star-grain "composite modified double-base propellant", known as FDN-80, created from the mixing of ammonium perchlorate, aluminum, and double-base smokeless powder, with zirconium staples (0.125 inches (3 mm) in length) embedded or "randomly dispersed" throughout the matrix.[16]:162–178,G-24

How can you, a blubbering retard standing on the sidewalk, get run over by a car travelling on the street at over 30mph?
You're not gonna tell me that you're capable of running at over 30mph while your poor caretaker runs after you holding you state-mandated helmet aloft?
Image a 700kg horse is galloping at 20 miles an hour, and it wants to do a 180 degree turn. That horse has a fuck ton of inertia, and its only got its legs to turn round. Thus, the horse takes a while to turn around, and must gradually lose its speed using its legs while excreting a force to the right/left over a significant distance before its completed the turn. Meanwhile if an 80kg human was walking at 3mph, they could just turn around on a dime because they have MUCH less inertia.
Same logic with hypersonics. Kinzhal weights about 4 tonnes, and a 4 tonne missile travelling at Mach 5 possesses an insane amount of inertia. In order to manoeuvre, it must bounce air in a certain direction over its fins, which as you can guess, takes A LOT of time and air to do. Thus, Kinzhal can't turn for shit. If you have a constant lock on your target and its not taking any evasive action, you can hit sometime travelling at Mach 100, which is why this entire story is such a nothingburger. This is also why hypersonics are a meme, especially against high technology opponents like the USA. Pic especially rel, showing the turning circle assuming a 2g turn on a cruise vehicle travelling at Mach 15 vs Mach 10.

Yes, that's what we call a major success. Since when is the definition of success in intercepts a 1-1 ratio of shots to hits? The definition of success is you destroy the raid.
Are all 4chanmorons this retarded?
by... intercepting it? You don't need to catch up with it from behind, you're meeting it head on. As long as you can reasonably predict the trajectory (which you can because the faster something moves in the atmosphere the less control authority it has without tearing itself to shreds) you can intercept it with something moving 10 or even 100 times slower than it

It really doesn't, the overall shape is similar because they are both hardened penetrator warheads, but literally all of the surface details are different, welds in different spots, BETAB has two half circle mounting points while the Kinzhal has two bolts that go all the way through. Manually operated lift trucks on a land base are absurd. Proper air forces used motorized bomb lifts since the 1950s.because they're so much faster and combat turn times are critical to producing the max number of sorties. Then there's the utter lack of hardened shelters or even revetments...
Hypersonic missiles is the only cope thirdie shills have against the overwhelming american military superiority.
Proof of the US being able to stop those means admitting they're powerless and weak, losing face, etc.
Wow, this is actually armatard isn’t it? It has to be. Only he is both this retarded and this full of very specific knowledge that is also untrue. Most vatniks couldn’t name even a single missile beyond saying S-400 stronk and most would also be able to tell how shadows work. Plus this is aviation related. I think the king has finally returned for his crown
SU-57 rurned out to be shit, T-14 turned out to be shit, SU-75 is shit. The only thing he had left to keep him from an heroing was Kinzhal. It may have been an unreliable 70s era relic, but at least the US couldn't stop it. Well, until they could. This finally broke him.
He was chimping out on other boards in 2021 too, that’s how people found his reddit/quora/various boomer aviation forum accounts. He sometimes chimps out about how based Roscosmos is, for example.
I was one of the ones who found it kek. He just straight up posted his reddit. He actually posted a subreddit he created, iirc it was something like “r/PrepHoleVsReddit” while trying to… I don’t really know, it was bizarre. But I looked up the username because there was only one person posting in the whole sub, and it turned up accounts and former accounts all over the internet, mainly on places like
Yeah, he's on F-16.net and another aviation forum I visit. He's fucking everywhere doing the same shit over, and over, under hundreds of different SNs. Crazy.
F-16.net and Quora. Looking through the posts it was obviously Armatard, constantly shilling for Russian aircraft and getting basic facts like the curvature of the earth, unit conversion and how radar jamming works wrong. But always with huge paragraphs and citations. Username was panzerfaust1 but he misspelled panzerfaust, I can’t remember how he misspelled it right now. It was eye opening, years of shilling across every platform imaginable, creating multiple accounts to agree with himself sometimes. I’m way too lazy to go digging for my screencaps rn

Yeah, he's on F-16.net and another aviation forum I visit. He's fucking everywhere doing the same shit over, and over, under hundreds of different SNs. Crazy.
The blow wouldn't have been that hard had he acknowledged that the Kinzhal was just a glorified air-launched TBM, but noooooooo, it's a hypersanic, uninterceptable, muh Mach number big! etc. etc.
Bunch of Anons trying reaaaaaly hard to use that "firehose of falsehood" technique because the penetrator of a hypersonic missile that has similar parts to other Russian crap kinda sorta (in the right light) looks like it's a part of a non-hypersonic weapon.
Y'know, after it's exploded and crashed into the dirt at terminal velocity, with most of it's outer casing stripped off in the process.
The strange part is that it's a done deal.
All the Russian propaganda channels with any shred of credibility in Russia already confirmed it happened.
It's not even cope at this point.
That is, purely theoretically, some kind of Nato air defense system can bring supersonic down.
Of course, we are talking about shooting down single targets, today not a single air defense of the planet will beat off a group attack with hypersonic.
But that's for today, and tomorrow will be tomorrow.
In Ukraine, Kinzhals have been using for a year, so finding the wreckage from it is not difficult. And not all ammunition works properly, so relatively intact parts can also be found. It is difficult to figure out that this is exactly the Kinzhal, and not the Iskander, for example, and given the huge number of missile modifications, this task is not an easy one, even for a specialist.
The whole Pentagon could not determine what is what in the demonstrated pile of garbage and stupidly show a picture of the objective control of the downing (what they shot down there), but for normies it will do.
This war is unique. The main battle is on the Internet. It is here that they shoot down missiles, ask for shells, kill hundreds and thousands of enemy soldiers, hold and seize territories, impose some kind of sanctions and draw lines of all colors.
Why is it so hard to believe they shot one down? Why waste so much time and effort trying to discredit something that'll later claimed to be not such a big thing when it keeps happening? I give you a hint: When Russia and its cheerleaders constantly lie and are caught doing and promoting immoral things, then there is a natural counter reaction to it. Yes, Ukraine lies, yes, not everything turns out to be right, but when you look at it objectively and with all the stuff vatniks and prorussians kept saying in the past and now, it is kinda obvious what vile group they are.
It is not hard to believe in this, any equipment can be intercepted, especially with satellites and NATO intelligence.
But as soon as you have a little doubt, ask for more tangible proof, you go out to discuss the shape of a rocket or a warhead, you are immediately attacked by a pack of angry people and they call you Rusniger or vatnik or kgb operative, as if the very possibility of discussing is already closed and its done - follow the main line. It's been hard on this site lately.
>It is not hard to believe in this
But why do vatniks make such a fuzz about it? Why do people like you don't recognize it and act accordingly. The vatniks are the reason why you get attacked, it's not the other way around, they fake being you to shill their shit, the only one you should actually be mad at is them. But you don't even mention it unless there are consequences for you for their actions, but then completely ignore their foul play that led to it. What a great "neutral" poster you are, very organic.

You're not gonna tell me that you're capable of running at over 30mph while your poor caretaker runs after you holding you state-mandated helmet aloft?

I will answer your question with basic math.
What about it? A successful intercept of Iranian TBMs, with one PAC-2 interceptor malfunctioning. What's your point?
>one malfunctioning
>can't read the text in the video
ok
One PAC-2 malfunctioned, and all 7 Iranian TBMs were intercepted by PATRIOT. What more is there to read? Sounds like a major success for PATRIOT.
>major success
>intercepted 7 missiles
>by shooting 10 at it, 2 failed and the third of them veered and hit the ground.
amazing. reminds me of the accuracy of Patriot fiasco after the gulf war.
>2 failed and the third of them veered and hit the ground.
May I see the two fail? I saw two intercepts, and one veer into the ground. Still shot down 7 Iranian TBMs with shit sandmoron operators and maintainers. Seems like the gold standard for tactical BM defense.
https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/why-did-american-patriot-missiles-fail-stop-houthis-attacks-197764
>But amateur videos that appeared online in the aftermath of the missile skirmish indicate that many of the Patriots exploded in mid-air or veered off course. The errant missiles invoked memories of similar failures involving American-operated Patriots during the 1991 Gulf War and the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
I guess the nationalinterest is lying as well.
Don't give him any more (you)s he's a retarded fag from 4chan baiting you all lol
>nationalinterest
Might as well post eurasiantimes lmao
it was all over the news lmao https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/04/patriot-defense-system-likely-failed-in-saudi-ballistic-missile-attack.html
Watch the video and explain to me how one missile's explosion and debris is shown falling 5 seconds after launch. the very beginning of the video.
>Patriots exploded in mid-air
You mean what is called an intercept?
>major success
>intercepted 7 missiles
>by shooting 10 at it, 2 failed and the third of them veered and hit the ground.
Yes, that's what we call a major success. Since when is the definition of success in intercepts a 1-1 ratio of shots to hits? The definition of success is you destroy the raid.
Are all 4chanmorons this retarded?
We know where the missile is because we know where the missile isn't
by... intercepting it? You don't need to catch up with it from behind, you're meeting it head on. As long as you can reasonably predict the trajectory (which you can because the faster something moves in the atmosphere the less control authority it has without tearing itself to shreds) you can intercept it with something moving 10 or even 100 times slower than it
Imperial System vs Colonial System. Russian Mach 5 = 50 White Eagles = US Mach 0.75
Trying again after you got btfo in the last thread bitch?
DO NOT REDEEM THE OLD THREAD SIR
>I identify as a Kinzhal hypersonic missile
>now, somehow I can fly 1000 km
Why do you would stop there tho? why not self identify with a nuke.
GONNA NOOOOOOOOOOK
It's over NAFO bros
Shootdown was confirmed by the pentagon.

cope and seethe, I don't even know why this is surprising, PAC-3 has been killing Mach 8 maneuvering warheads since 94 or 95.
cope + seethe + mald
Stop it.
>Please remove these posts anon, they do not line up with my narrative of an unstoppable hypersonic missile
NOOOOOOP YOU CANT POST THAT
ITS A HECKIN RUSSIAPHOBIC!
This is the "moskva went to port under it's own power" shit all over again.
Nobody falls for that, retard. The thing that was shot down does not have a nose fuse.
Continue to cope you Mongoloid subhuman.
>get btfo'd in old thread
>thread is filled with pictures and posts showing how wrong you are about everything
>whole thread is basically your tantrum throwing ass getting dragged through a mile of glass shards of truth and facts
>make a new thread because you can never let go
oohh armatard
beat me to it
But science already debunked this. it was proven that it was a hypersanic missile peer reviewed by scientist all over the world
Scientist of India much superior sir
It's healthy to role-play as a make-believe fantasy character sometimes.
Gets the stress out, you know?
Kinzhal bouyant and moving under it's own power
You know they can use the same penetrator/warhead in other munitions, right?
Britain's Storm Shadow and the US' AGM-154C cruise missiles contains the penetrating BLU-109 warhead used on guided freefall bombs like GBU-24A/B, GBU-27, GBU-31(V)3/B etc.

retard learns about unitary warheads. welcome to PrepHole
It's like the second or third thread where he tries the same shit, so he already learned it, he just hoped fewer or no people would know it in another thread. Didn't work out too well for him.
lmao. imagine being so assblasted that you spend all day posting seethe threads
Alrighty 2 threads where OP got BTFO'd, who's ready for round 3?
Meeeee!
The sad thing is he or someone else will do the same thing again, hoping there are fewer people around or no one feels like correcting him this time. They always do, sometimes it's just a few hours, sometimes it's a few months or less, but sooner or later one of them will try it again.
He gave up on making threads on this and started to post it in at least one other thread
instead.
The cum /chug/ger cope in this thread on 4chan is fucking hilarious:
Screenshot, not going there
Pls don’t cry OP i’m sure people won’t make fun of your lack of warhead knowledge in your next thread.
Go ahead.
Make another one.
lmao.
maybe read the thread and this one
before you post such retarded and denunked shit
How is it debunked? you have a guy here claiming they are using the same Betab-500 as a warhead inside the kinzhal. that's how high on copium you are lmao
>someone mentions something on a sidenote
>"YOU ALL HAVE BEEN SAYING"
every time
okay, you aren't even trying and already becoming defensively aggressive
Here's the propaganda thought process
>early report of downing a kinzhal with images
>airforce denies that any ballistic missiles were in the air that day
>people start saying that the denial was for OPSEC reasons, So russians don't know that their superweapon can be intercepted prior to the counter-offensive
>some dude claims that the tip of the wreckage and its curves matches kinzhal's tip
>random ukie news pick it up and spread it, Pentagon talks about it. OPSEC don't matter anymore
>now we have more footage of the wreckage but it doesn't match the outer/tip of the missile
>now its actually an internal penetrator/payload. but just a simple google search shows that neither Iskander nor Kinzhal use an internal penetrator and their inner warhead looks nothing like this new footage, while ignoring the fact that many ballistic missiles don't even need penetrators like cruise missiles.
>Russians are saying it's a Betab-500, and it really does look like it, so the new tactic is to claim that Kinzhal uses betab-500 as the inner warhead of Kinzhal like Anon here
You know they can use the same penetrator/warhead in other munitions, right?
Britain's Storm Shadow and the US' AGM-154C cruise missiles contains the penetrating BLU-109 warhead used on guided freefall bombs like GBU-24A/B, GBU-27, GBU-31(V)3/B etc.
Choose whatever hill you die on, it will be funny to watch how this gets memory-holed just like the ghost of keev.
There's no need of memory hole it, Russia probably will launch another Kinzhal with, maybe, the same result.
> "Choose whatever hill you die on"
He hasn't been paying attention to Bakhmut
>Russians are saying it's a Betab-500, and it really does look like it
It really doesn't, the overall shape is similar because they are both hardened penetrator warheads, but literally all of the surface details are different, welds in different spots, BETAB has two half circle mounting points while the Kinzhal has two bolts that go all the way through. The most interesting part is that none of you are even trying to explain this
I wonder why?
This. The mount points were a dead fucking giveaway lol. OP is a seething thirdie at best and a retarded contrarian /chug/fag at worst
>The most interesting part is that none of you are even trying to explain this
Maybe because the one on sand is obviously different in size, with its terminal part obviously wider and has an obviously protruding ridge below the first "hole", and it has its rivets outside instead of the "holes for the bolts that go all the way through"?
>obviously different in size
based on what reference?
>its terminal part obviously wider
they are the same shape
>has an obviously protruding ridge below the first "hole"
you mean the weld that is clearly present on both examples?
>has its rivets outside instead of the "holes for the bolts that go all the way through"?
One side is proud, the other recessed. I know it's a lot to understand, but I have faith in you.
>based on what reference?
Just compare the different colored tip size and diameter with its own body, in both pictures. its clearly not the same. at best you can argue it's different because the one on sand was actually an Iskander-m.
>just a weld
You think its just a weld that caused that massive shadow?
>one is proud the other is recessed
just lol, you know that argument can be used as evidence that its a Betab-500, right?
thanks for rotating the stavropol warhead. to show that its diameter and cap size is completely different than the one Ukraine shows.
>probably related
>incremental improvement
whatever
>thanks for rotating the stavropol warhead. to show that its diameter and cap size is completely different than the one Ukraine shows.
Should do I make another pic with perspective/photogrammetry estimations just to stfu you?
I'm reminded of the incident where Russians were moving around TB-2 wreckage and the vatniks could not understand perspective
>You think its just a weld that caused that massive shadow?
Are you an actual retarded or are you just pretending you can't see that the shadow is from the wreckage of the outer body of the missile, which is sitting directly behind, bent around the warhead?
wew lad, didn't know you can cast shadow at two different directions kek
I'm truly surprised that you don't forget to breath.
Im (not) surprised you fell for the garden gnomes war propaganda.
ad garden gnomerium
impressive
What the fuck is the yellow line supposed to show?
The sun is on the right from the perspective of the picture. You can even see the back of the piece wrapped around the warhead is shaded, meaning the sun is pretty low when the picture was taken.
We've reached moon truther levels of denial now.
I have no words to describe how retarded you are
pretty sure you're trolling, I'll give you a 6/10 rating and a (You)
It's a endless stream of BS and cope. With wrong comparisons.
You should compare the warhead shown by ukranians with the BETAB-500ShP
because its tip matches better the warhead.
Probably they're related developments and the Kinzhal's penetrator is an
incremental improvement of the BETAB-500ShP to make it work better
at higher impact velocity.

*I forgot the pic
P.S. The straight band on the nose could be simply to clamp the warhead on place, i'm not sure if it's really capped. Probably it isn't even capped.
>obviously different in size
>Because one picture is blown up more than the other, so it looks bigger
You cannot be this retarded. Just accept it, the kinzhal can be intercepted. Deal with it.
>drawing lines on an image that isn't even in the same perspective
>no fringe at the bottom
>top of the right is clearly more rounded
>two rings near where the bolts should go but none on the right.
clearly different.
Got it: you want to be pegged by Patriot-chan but then afterwards vociferously deny anything happened.
You do you, Anon.
Manually operated lift trucks on a land base are absurd. Proper air forces used motorized bomb lifts since the 1950s.because they're so much faster and combat turn times are critical to producing the max number of sorties. Then there's the utter lack of hardened shelters or even revetments...

i truly had no idea that memezhal shotdown will cause so much cope
It’s all hands on deck damage control after this and the “””””parade”””””””
Hypersonic missiles is the only cope thirdie shills have against the overwhelming american military superiority.
Proof of the US being able to stop those means admitting they're powerless and weak, losing face, etc.
Hmmmmmm
Post article.
>already spreading falsified articles to sow doubt
This finally broke him.
they still have the magical armageddon nuke torpedo
He was chimping out on other boards in 2021 too, that’s how people found his reddit/quora/various boomer aviation forum accounts. He sometimes chimps out about how based Roscosmos is, for example.
Source?
I was one of the ones who found it kek. He just straight up posted his reddit. He actually posted a subreddit he created, iirc it was something like “r/PrepHoleVsReddit” while trying to… I don’t really know, it was bizarre. But I looked up the username because there was only one person posting in the whole sub, and it turned up accounts and former accounts all over the internet, mainly on places like
F-16.net and Quora.
On the aviation forum, he would always link to some Chinese uni student's Quora page for math and theories a lot.
>I’m way too lazy to go digging for my screencaps rn
No, I want to see those screencaps. Please go fetch them.
NTA and i also don't have screencaps, but i got something better, the thread on PrepHole where he was soft doxed with all the stuff you want to know, start reading here: https://desuarchive.org/k/thread/51685527/#51689633
It starts slow, but then it accelerates pretty fast until the mods sadly put an end to it.
Lmao the way armatard immediately sperged out and tried so hard to bury it, comedy gold. Yeah that’s the shit I was referring to. You can really tell it’s definitely legit because of some of the reactions to it from definitely not armatard that are super organic, made by real PrepHole posters
Armatard stopped posting after this. I thought it was because of the war but maybe getting exposed spooked him. He never ever returned to that PrepHole general again I can tell you that. And he purged some of the stuff I found pretty quickly, namely the reddit shit.
So his name is Jeff Jaworski, interesting. What's Dennis full name?
Nah it’s not, he used a bunch of names on those forums, all eastern yuro. IIRC he’s Romanian though, he had a bunch of posts on r/Romania in Romanian. No way a non Romanian is learning that shit lmao. But I might be getting him mixed up with a different lolcow from that general who posted his reddit
I remember some vatmoron posted a pic with Romanian filename. Could it be the same guy?
No, that was just a fake name he used on Quora, read the whole post chain in the archive thread, there is also some other name he had on Quora. Dennis is another case, he's living in Germany pretty active on /int/ and his posting time doesn't match up with Armatard who seems to post from the time zone of the Americas.
Yeah, he's on F-16.net and another aviation forum I visit. He's fucking everywhere doing the same shit over, and over, under hundreds of different SNs. Crazy.
The blow wouldn't have been that hard had he acknowledged that the Kinzhal was just a glorified air-launched TBM, but noooooooo, it's a hypersanic, uninterceptable, muh Mach number big! etc. etc.
There's still Zircon which might as well not actually exist, but that's probably even better because you can't disprove it either.
Su-75 doesnt even exist for it to be shit, it never progressed beyond a show room mockup
I don't even understand what is going on. Why do I keep seeing these threads?
Bunch of Anons trying reaaaaaly hard to use that "firehose of falsehood" technique because the penetrator of a hypersonic missile that has similar parts to other Russian crap kinda sorta (in the right light) looks like it's a part of a non-hypersonic weapon.
Y'know, after it's exploded and crashed into the dirt at terminal velocity, with most of it's outer casing stripped off in the process.
Oh so this is them trying to make out the hypersonic didn't get shot down. Right. I get it now. Thanks.
>Bunch
The strange part is that it's a done deal.
All the Russian propaganda channels with any shred of credibility in Russia already confirmed it happened.
It's not even cope at this point.
That’s how you know it’s armatard
The warhead may very well could be a modified Betab-500 penetrating bomb, as using off the shelf components in missiles isn't unheard of.
The JSOW-1A for example uses a modified Mk82 bombs as its warhead.
Because you get shot down?
SORRY, WE DIDN'T KNOW HYPERSONICS COULDN'T BE SHOT DOWN
That is, purely theoretically, some kind of Nato air defense system can bring supersonic down.
>We're only losing on the internet
Is this the current Russian cope?
I find it unsettling that I can spot a Russian just from how they construct their English sentences.
>It's been hard on this site lately.
Feel free to go back to Facebook.
They’re not sending their best, folks. It’s not even close
Lmfao OP is a twatterfag. Mods clean this shit up
No, this thread should be stickied, the humiliation of the vatniks in it has been immense
>AAAAAAA HELP ME JANNIES MY VATmoron ASS IS ON FIRE
Funniest ending would be discovering Russians with Attitude is armatard

Do you think the person you're replying to has even the faintest idea about anything relating to engineering or weapons?
