Anon, there are soldiers in other armies that don't even get the right ammunition for their weapons.

    >just dumping shit rather than keeping it on hand for future use
Why? I've worked construction and oversaw the inventory for one of the trades. Keeping parts on hand at a job site even if it wasn't touched for the duration of the job was common.

Considering the officer involvement, it can probably be chalked up to management ocd.
I work in manufacturing and we normally try to keep our situational tools and materials on hand, but mid and upper management sometimes come down and have fits about it because they think the epitome of workspace cleanliness is to have zero materials stored nearby that aren't going to be used immediately. So then we either throw it all out or get it re entered into the system even if it's counted as consumable and thrown out by the tool crib guys anyway since they never have room to take it back.

    >officer asks you for screws/cables/anything else like that
    >doesn't trigger your moron alarm
    >don't immediately double check to see if it's the right part, how many he needs, and what it's for
YOU failed the both of you, dumbshit.

Is there an Ace Hardware near you? It's always been a good stop for those 1s and 2s of screws I've dropped into the abyss of an engine bay. Some stores even started carrying gun screws.

instead of throwing them away you keep them and sell them on the internet moron, that's making the job work for you. You are choosing to do things the hard way then b***hing about it, but then again I'm smart and didn't join so, thanks for your service lmao

You could keep them for later in case you need them, moron. You sure are missing more than two, anyway.
