And something to add. I'm leaning more toward the 43X, and just using an extended magazine whenever I'm at home or wearing clothes it can be more easily concealed. But, I'm also drawn to the 19 because it can do everything without me having to think about it any, or having to worry about swapping out magazines. It's a really hard choice for me. And I don't have the money to buy both.

Keep in mind that the 19 is significantly fatter. You're going to feel it a lot more during a long day than its skinny cousin if you're concealing. Comfort can make the difference between a safe queen and an EDC.

Do you larp? If you have gear in which would would overtly carry a pistol then a 19x would be better. If it's strictly concealed carry then the 43x is better

43x is the superior carry with the s15 mags. not capacity difference than the 19, and theyre really comfy.

Is there any critical issues with the s15 magazines?

whats the story with these? are these steel magazines similar to the 365?

As long as you get the metal mag release with it, works flawlessly. Only downside is the normie 10 rounds get stuck sometimes but who cares.

go to the gun store and hold both and decide for yourself.
    the difference is marginal.

Glock 19 as it's better #1. Also the clipazine is interchangeable with the 26 and 17 as are some of the parts. You get larger capacity and ability to drop in the 33 round BBClipazine. For me the Glock 19 just seems to fit perfectly. Not too big, not too small. I also own a regular G43 that I keep as small and compact as possible for max covertness.

Personally I carry a gen 5 19. It fits my hands better than the 43x. I can't get the grip down on the 43. I'm not a huge guy by any means but have no issue concealing it.

I hadn't heard of the G48. Okay, I'm thinking about this one too.

It's long enough that you don't feel like every shot is throwing your barrel up by an inch, and narrow enough that it's comfortably concealable.

Also personally great for me since I live in a state with a 10+1 capacity limit for handguns anyway so the G48 being 10+1 by default is just right for me.

I was looking up the G48, and the only difference between the G48 and the G43X is the slide. So the G48 is just a .5 in longer slide.

The good thing about this is, I can just buy a G43X and then buy a G48 slide and swap them out whenever I want more concealability or something that shoots better.

I think this is the best choice. Buying either the 43X or the 48 and then buying an extra slide to convert to the other when needed.

              It's 0.76"

              Barrel length on G43x is 3.41" (87mm) G48 is 4.17" (106mm)

And slide length is slightly longer still at ~0.79" difference between the two (154mm vs 174mm)

I personally just didn't like how snappy the G43 was when I shot it and have always preferred the barrel length the G48 offers as it's just a bit more controllable in my hands so I never even considered swapping between the two, though I have seen some youtube videos on it.

Get an HK P30 or P30S. Call it a day, the gun will likely outlive you.

G19, then G47, then G43X. Then threaded barrel for all.

Just get a 19. Speaking from personal experience, I found the G48 didn’t conceal any better than my G23. G19 has cheaper mags and more aftermarket support.
Now if Glock got their heads out of their asses and started producing 15 rounders so that we don’t gotta buy overpriced S15 mags to make the 48/43x practical, then my opinion would maybe be different.

      Gen 3 G19 maybe, Gen 5 G19 no.

Gen 3 is 1.26" wide, Gen 5 is 1.34" wide

      G48 is 1.10" wide.
      G23 is 1.26" wide

Gen 5 G19 is noticeably thiccer.

I don’t have a Gen 5 but I’m pretty certain the added width is purely due to the slide catch now being on both sides. Glock seems to measure at the controls and not at the grip itself. Same with Gen 3, they measure at the thumb rest since it’s the thickest part but not the actual side of the grip. It’s definitely an honest way to measure it but it’s also not entirely accurate. Definitely not debating the fact that Glocks are thicc though, that’s true
