Bros, I just had a concerning thought
Maybe Communism IS the superior system
I mean sure, Russia was a shithole under communism that couldn't compete with the Capitalist West
But look how much fucking worse they are now, maybe it wasn't Communism holding them back, maybe they were the ones holding Communism back
calling the US in 1941-45 a command economy is laughably ignorant. Capitalism still existed, the difference from prior and following years is that 45 % of GDP went into defense spending
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't US see USSR's plans for computerized planning and then decided to make their own version, with the idea being that in case of nuclear war US economy would instantly transition to a network of computerized command economy factories worked from under ground?
The hilarious thing about the USSR, is that it actually largely failed because
- Lack of cooperation between Soviet firms who were hyper competitive and predatory against eachother, this meant that they pretty much all sabotaged eachother on joint projects. Why the Soviet Moon rocket went to shit, but also why Soviet inventions like Cell Phones and The Internet never got off the ground despite having working versions. Firms would just refuse to work with eachother, meanwhile in ironically, in the West, in particular the US, the MIC worked very well with Public and Private R&D to roll out new infrastructure and technology.
- Lysenko, this man pretty much fucked all Soviet agricultural science for it's entire existence.
- Not a meritocracy, but Nomenklatura made advancement in the Soviet system about how hard you can suck your bosses dick, rather than produce actual results. Gorbachev literally rose to the top, because he provided "services to the exceptional relaxation of Party officials" (read sucked dick the best). This also meant that party officials would openly sabotage advances in productivity that would threaten jobs or their jobs. Hence why Linear planning was dumped despite providing a good way to centrally plan production, and things like the Soviet Internet were further hamstrung.
- Andropov died. If he didn't die, the USSR would likely be much closer to China today. The man in his short few years, literally put the Soviet budget in black and saw growth improve by several percentage points, while engaging in massive anti-corruption campaigns.
China, Singapore, Japan, South Korea show that central planning and a command economy are perfectly viable economic systems. (webm related) The USSR just kept the worst of Tsardom (For example, Nomenklatura) and covered it in a red paint. What made the USSR better than modern Russia, is that it had an actual hopeful ideology and it wasn't brazenly an predatory mafia state.
The only ones that didn't want to be part of the USSR were the Baltics. (Not counting Eastern Bloc because they technically weren't USSR)
In every other region the USSR had overwhelming majority popular support from the population, especially the Stans.
The USSR wasn't the Eastern Bloc. The USSR was basically a bunch of dirt poor central asian and caucus shitholes and Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltics.
Ukraine, Belarus and Russia were basically subsidizing everyone else, so you had like 90% support for the USSR in the other regions, in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine it was around the 70%
Reminds me of the story where some Soviet computer scientists found out that functioning microchips were being made in the Soviet Union when some were accidentally mailed to the wrong address.
I've done enough corporate crap to see this happen even in mid-sized organizations. Without any means of communication, no-one knows that the department next door is struggling with the same challenges, and the bosses don't know enough to share the information, or they don't know the other team's boss because their own boss never lets them meet. Eventually you have a dozen departments struggling to solve similar issues, each without enough resources to do it well on their own. The Soviet system was basically designed to cause this.
Read a book called Red Plenty, goes deep into how hilarious disjointed the Soviet system was and how all these firms, pretty much despised eachother and would actively fuck eachother over on >joint< projects.
https://libgen.rocks/ad.php?md5=3ef53dbf457ed096a71d989e2601cdc5
Soviets and India make up a big fat chunk of the case study example he gives for dysfunction in central planning.
These things are always a gradient in how bad it gets but it’s pretty damn rare for a situation to unabashedly improved when all choices are disctqted from the top. that’s not to say that some kind of director from the top is a bad thing since civilization could not function without some kind of guiding hand but man when command and control takes up more then it can chew graft is catastrophic.
Lysenkoism will never not be hilarious to me. >what if we kneecapped our biological and agricultural research for decades because Stalin's pet "scientist" thinks science is political in nature and rejects genetics as a capitalist pseudoscience
Russians are invading Russia.
In response, the Russians have evacuated Russians from the part of Russia that is being invaded by Russia
Several bridges have also been blown but it is currently unclear if they were destroyed by the Russians looking to cut off access to the region for incoming Russian reinforcements or by Russians attempting to delay the advance of the Russians into Russia

Not that guy, but keep in mind Free Russia has taken some towns on the road to Belgorod, not the city itself. But the day is young. I have hope.

Actually I stand by my claim. There are currently Russians (Putin) occupying Belgorod (historically Ukrainian, possibly under Free Russian administrative control in 2025),
>tfw know Ukie who has a sweetheart in some "literally where" village just over the border in Russia and prior to 2022 would regularly stroll over the border to meet with her >tfw he's in the army now >tfw Ukraine is invading Russia now >tfw he'll be able to meet her on a business trip for the first time in over a year
Be straight with me bros, how likely is it that the rebels can HOLD onto their occupied territories? Actually getting in there is half the battle. If they can hold onto territory this (probably) would be a huge thorn in the Russian militray's side for the remainder of the war, or until it's retaken.
Not much, and I think they know this. They are there for a mission, most likely to divert russian troops from ukraine in the future, as the possibility of getting attacked are now real
depends on how russia interprets it
either: >think its a a feint, do not devote extra forces to it, and risk losing the area to ukraine >throw a stupid amount of manpower at it and weaken other areas of the front
Seems more like this is a diversion operation to force Russia to draw away troops from the south. Russia is now in a catch-22 situation where they either have to divert troops out of Ukraine, which makes them more vulnerable to a counter offensive, or try to handle things with what few troops they have in theater, risking leaving a large chunk of their own territory in "separatist" hands.
> Russian forces have penetrated the Russian border > Russian Telegram insists there is no panic among Russians who have fled Russian-contested areas of Russia for areas more securely under Russian control > The Russian invasion target is theorized to be the city of Belgorod, which has been bombed repeatedly by Russian airpower in the previous months > Russian opposition issues orders to demolish Russian infrastructure to stymie the Russian advance > Reports are that the Russians have identified "Russian" police of the region as potentially compromised in a false flag attack. Both the Russians and the Russians may be opening fire on Russian security forces > "the ass is in the ass" is in the ass, in the ass of the ass's ass
picrel
Chuck Tingle may unironically be the only rational choice to write the definitive historical account of this clusterfuck. Nobody else will be able to type things up with a straight face.
Depends on the terrain and the support Ukraine can provide. If they don't go too deep into Russia, then they can be covered by Ukrainian artillery, manpads, SAMs, etc.. If they have a significant manpower, ammunition, ATGMs, mines, and they dig in, Russia will have to send some heavy firepower to dislodge them. Which they can't really spare. If they pull it from other places, Ukraine can attack elsewhere. No good options.
Advancing to resistance, digging in, and then forcing Russia to commit to an offensive action to push them out would provide strategic value elsewhere on the line. If Russia doesn't respond, then there's no reason not to push forward and take a larger salient - if they do then just dig in and enjoy being on the defensive.
Not likely but the psychological damage and opportunity to blow up or capture military related equipment make it a highly effective operation. Plus you know Russia might actually have to use troops to guard the border now.
So do you guys think they're gonna start shelling thier own villages? Because evidently the Russian doctrine so far has been to absolutely level everything with artillery to the point where there's been shell shortages. I bet monke is gonna wanna deal with this little occupation as quickly as possible to save face sooooo...
God help you if you're a random ass citizen in belgorad right about now, with the track record the Russian military has dealing with hostage situations you're just as likely to be killed by your own side
> Basically reinvent the whites from the russian civil war into the blues this time around > Uno reverse card on the russians who love to pull annoying shit like this: no Ukrainians to see here xaxaxa > Give the soldiers of your fake insurgency cute uniforms, with their own altPrepHole tier flags, their own logo's, their own ...stickers? >Shitpost all the way while doing the funny raid, film everything so the west can enjoy as well

A lot better.
The ROA was a real faction back in WWII that (like the Banderites) was recruited from captured Russians to fight against the Soviets.
Rusmorons hunted them both down and executed anyone who they could get their hands on, and to this day any mention of these guys drives them borderline insane.
It just says RVC(Russian Volunteer Corps) lol. Love their logo by the way, minimalistic and comfy.

I can't speak for the rest of the board, but I like to shitpost for both sides and cause as much shit flinging as possible.
I consider it part of my gnomish tactics training.
Russia is obviously in the wrong to anyone sane, so anti-Russian/pro-the people defending their land and homes should be the default. 4chan is full of retarded ideologues obsessed with Putin as the champion of their far right version of the Internationale, so they're forced to contort themselves into bizarre logical stances.
>why is the board full of dudes that LARP as resistance fighters against government tyranny/foreign invasion in favor of the country defending itself against a foreign invasion by a tyrannical government?
The world may never know Anon.
Because, tourist, defending yourself against an armed invader is a god given right. Besides, the people supporting russia in this war are literal sub 90 IQ mouthbreathers who genuinely think a war of conquest against a white christian nation is somehow okay if it's russia doing the conquering.
Russian shills have been shitting this board up with RUSSIA STRONK AMERICA WEAK XAXAXA for over a decade. Watching them fall completely flat on their face is like the punch line to a decade long joke.
Aside from /chug/ and /leftypol/ I have not encountered a single place on the English speaking internet that overwhelming supports Russia. 4chan is the only board on PrepHole where you aren't mocked relentlessly for being a vatnik. PrepHole is just the most visible board where war talk is allowed so pol/chug seethes the most about it.
4chan started the donald, and it backfired, bringing all the brainlets to 4chan. /sg/ years before it brought all the shitskin mudslimes to 4chan. And around the tie of /sg/ the CCP decided to turn every corner of the internet into a "red area" favorable to the CCP. 4chan absolutely hated chinsects, chinsects even did a study on 'sinophobia' on 4chan, and WuMao went hard not long after it. Also, all the ricecels and hapa from plebbit shitting up 4chan because they're failures and their women love White men.
My parents were denied the opportunity to kill Russians despite living through the entire Cold War. I will embrace every opportunity to kill Russians or support those that are actively doing so. If you study the history of Russia in the late 19th and 20th century, you can see just how massively retarded of a country it is, while desperately clinging to "world power" status.

/2RWG/ - Second Russian Civil War General
We need to differentiate between the plot-of-Call-of-Duty-4-IRL meme war and the impending Second American Civil War
>I wish for a renewed Russian offensive!
underrated
Bros, I just had a concerning thought
Maybe Communism IS the superior system
I mean sure, Russia was a shithole under communism that couldn't compete with the Capitalist West
But look how much fucking worse they are now, maybe it wasn't Communism holding them back, maybe they were the ones holding Communism back
You know command economy worked perfectly in the US during ww2
calling the US in 1941-45 a command economy is laughably ignorant.
It probably didn't help that the USSR was comprised from forcefully annexed countries.
A lot of them suffered from russian colonisation and russificatiom attempts prior to the existence of commies too
The only ones that didn't want to be part of the USSR were the Baltics. (Not counting Eastern Bloc because they technically weren't USSR)
In every other region the USSR had overwhelming majority popular support from the population, especially the Stans.
Hm yeah fair enough, in my head I always think the Eastern Bloc was USSR proper.
lol pidor
The USSR wasn't the Eastern Bloc. The USSR was basically a bunch of dirt poor central asian and caucus shitholes and Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltics.
Ukraine, Belarus and Russia were basically subsidizing everyone else, so you had like 90% support for the USSR in the other regions, in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine it was around the 70%
Poles would gladly slit every russian throat
still would like to too
Not annexed into the USSR.

Go back, you retarded tankie or chinsect.
Lysenkoism will never not be hilarious to me.
>what if we kneecapped our biological and agricultural research for decades because Stalin's pet "scientist" thinks science is political in nature and rejects genetics as a capitalist pseudoscience
I wouldn't compare China and Russia to those other countries.
i thought igor girkin was talking out of his ass but he was..... unironically right?
The ass is out of the ass.
Girkin has been right about many things, including the Kharkiv feint.
I don’t understand what the fuck is going on
The "joke" map with MacArthur, Tesla towers, the A-Team, and Eastside Rollin 40s turned to be leaked intel on where this war was going.

I'm wondering what ridiculously improbable turn of events it would take for German to post "I guess time has now officially fucking TOLD. I'm throwing in the towel."
Thoughts and prayers.
Russia sucks ass, but you guys are fucking pure cringe.
Now now, don't you have a bomb shelter to pry open?
I know right. Am I on fucking Twitter right now? Like less than a year ago most of these posters would have been laughed off the site, but now NAFO tier ultra cringe has became the norm.
I used to like baiting while pretending to be a retarded vatnik but I stopped because the serious replies I'd get nowadays are even more cringe inducing trash than I could ever possibly produce.
Why were you so silent when your countrymen spammed this board?
These people can't be older than 16

You retarded reddit gays literally believe that there are Ukrainians occupying Belgorod city right now. How fucking gullible are you even?
Not Ukrainians you fucking Serb. Russians.
Not that guy, but keep in mind Free Russia has taken some towns on the road to Belgorod, not the city itself. But the day is young. I have hope.
Actually I stand by my claim. There are currently Russians (Putin) occupying Belgorod (historically Ukrainian, possibly under Free Russian administrative control in 2025),
Are you serious? I'm baffled. Do you believe in Santa Claus too?
TASS confirmed it.
Explain the situation then please
Look at how fucking upset this vatnik is lmfao
No, they are Russians
... the russians believe it too anon. are you saying they are gullible too? :3
Which slavic shithole country was Belgorod in again?

God can you imagine the stench of village vatnik cunt...
Yes, I can

>tfw he's in the army now
>tfw Ukraine is invading Russia now
>tfw he'll be able to meet her on a business trip for the first time in over a year
Be straight with me bros, how likely is it that the rebels can HOLD onto their occupied territories? Actually getting in there is half the battle. If they can hold onto territory this (probably) would be a huge thorn in the Russian militray's side for the remainder of the war, or until it's retaken.
I think its just a raid for rare loot. It will end when the raid leader's mother calls him for dinner.
Not much, and I think they know this. They are there for a mission, most likely to divert russian troops from ukraine in the future, as the possibility of getting attacked are now real
depends on how russia interprets it
either:
>think its a a feint, do not devote extra forces to it, and risk losing the area to ukraine
>throw a stupid amount of manpower at it and weaken other areas of the front
Option 2 is most likely and they will not last.
I will be straight: The deeper the penetration, the harder the Russian sphincter will clench until the penetration is broken off in the ass
> Russian forces have penetrated the Russian border
> Russian Telegram insists there is no panic among Russians who have fled Russian-contested areas of Russia for areas more securely under Russian control
> The Russian invasion target is theorized to be the city of Belgorod, which has been bombed repeatedly by Russian airpower in the previous months
> Russian opposition issues orders to demolish Russian infrastructure to stymie the Russian advance
> Reports are that the Russians have identified "Russian" police of the region as potentially compromised in a false flag attack. Both the Russians and the Russians may be opening fire on Russian security forces
> "the ass is in the ass" is in the ass, in the ass of the ass's ass

Chuck Tingle is a national treasure.
It's like fifty guys with several humwees and one tank. It's a diversion raid accompanied by massive shitposting and dunking on Russians.

God help you if you're a random ass citizen in belgorad right about now, with the track record the Russian military has dealing with hostage situations you're just as likely to be killed by your own side
just go to the bomb shelter... oh wait, it's locked

>Shitpost all the way while doing the funny raid, film everything so the west can enjoy as well
Lmao, its no armored counteroffesive but goddamn this was worth the wait, 10/10 LARP from the ukes.
>with their own altPrepHole tier flags, their own logo's, their own ...stickers?
A lot better.
The ROA was a real faction back in WWII that (like the Banderites) was recruited from captured Russians to fight against the Soviets.
Rusmorons hunted them both down and executed anyone who they could get their hands on, and to this day any mention of these guys drives them borderline insane.
>captured Russians
Captured soviets never mind my retardation.
>russians finally manage to pull in enough troops from elsewhere to get this clusterfuck in relative order
>Ukrainian offensive begins
This all seems very high effort for a pure Uke psyop
I think even the actual Little Green Men in 2014 didn't have such an extensive cover story
I think these guys are serious Russian revolutionaries/terrorists/whatever you want to call them and Ukraine just armed them and gave them a date to go wild
FREE BMPs?
Also, is this a police uniform?
https://nitter.privacydev.net/PaulJawin/status/1660707820726001680
just looks like plain black tacticool clothes, i dont think they would bother changing into police uniforms, just seems a bit silly
i know this sounds reddit af but this is so kino i love dire situations where a small group of homies is called to go against something far bigger than them
How come PrepHole is very pro-Ukrainian when 4chan is pretty split between pro-Ukrainians and pro-Russians?
4chan is where the trollfarms, actual glowies and people that have been psyoped for years into actually believing glowy memes are. It's just a battlefield for various propaganda creators
Less browncels here.
4chan is political, PrepHole is military oriented. Militarily, russia fucked up since day1, there is nothing to cheer on their side
PrepHole is mostly wealthy westerners and 4chan is mostly poos.
PrepHole is libertarian and understands war.
>why is the board full of dudes that LARP as resistance fighters against government tyranny/foreign invasion in favor of the country defending itself against a foreign invasion by a tyrannical government?
The world may never know Anon.
Because, tourist, defending yourself against an armed invader is a god given right. Besides, the people supporting russia in this war are literal sub 90 IQ mouthbreathers who genuinely think a war of conquest against a white christian nation is somehow okay if it's russia doing the conquering.
Russian shills have been shitting this board up with RUSSIA STRONK AMERICA WEAK XAXAXA for over a decade. Watching them fall completely flat on their face is like the punch line to a decade long joke.
You seem to think VPN trolls from glavset constitutes "people"
defending your home against a foreign invader is like standard dream with weapon and gun nuts.
killing white people and rape and pillaging is a more brown people thing. also, they have an antiwestern fetish rent free
PrepHole is BLUFOR, freedom-loving gun-owners, former NATO servicemen, etc.
4chan is non-white barbarian shithole REDFOR.
Push the button Biden. Liberate us with the NATO mechas and ion cannon satellites.
here's an easy chart which explains it really well

/pol/
I saved that shit ages ago and I'm way too lazy to make a new one or care about shit like that
Aside from /chug/ and /leftypol/ I have not encountered a single place on the English speaking internet that overwhelming supports Russia. 4chan is the only board on PrepHole where you aren't mocked relentlessly for being a vatnik. PrepHole is just the most visible board where war talk is allowed so pol/chug seethes the most about it.
I dunno, PrepHole is pretty pro-Russia, probably on account of all the Russian boxers and crotch sniffers.
4chan is where all the r/the_donald refugees went
4chan started the donald, and it backfired, bringing all the brainlets to 4chan. /sg/ years before it brought all the shitskin mudslimes to 4chan. And around the tie of /sg/ the CCP decided to turn every corner of the internet into a "red area" favorable to the CCP. 4chan absolutely hated chinsects, chinsects even did a study on 'sinophobia' on 4chan, and WuMao went hard not long after it. Also, all the ricecels and hapa from plebbit shitting up 4chan because they're failures and their women love White men.
What worse is the r/russia refugees that really smothered the board but they still pretend not to be the #1 board for reddit tourists
>Finally captured Bahkmut at the cost of losing the Belgorod REGION (not just city)
I see the sunken cost has set in
I'm no jannie, but it's hilarious how much "we did it Patrick, we liberated the city" energy the blasted to shit ruins irradiate
>muh Bakhmut
Nobody cares anymore, vatmoron. Belgorod is the new hotness. Imagine waiting 9 months to gloat and then get cucked like this LMAO.
The Russians don't want you to know this, but the police down at Belgorod are free. You can just hunt them. I've hunted 458 Russian police officers.

I see the Vatnik Defense Force has decided to stick its head out of the ground today

Any which way this goes, that's the constant.
LMAO. They'll just hop back across the border after fucking up everything of military value and there ain't shit you can do about it, niglet.
>We did it, Dmitri, we liberated the city!
Russian liberation, where a city is reduced to rubble.
