sounds like a really good deal, there's one for sale that I've been eyeing for about 1700 and it's gone down from like 3k over the last few months. I can only get guns like this through private sale or a very lucky find at an LGS due to roster laws so it might be worth paying a bit more because by the time I'm outta here or when the roster is repealed they'd be that expensive anyways. enjoy it, definitely a gun I want to get my hands on
what are the rules about putting stocks on them? I know some of them are exempt from NFA but I'm not too sure on the law. unless you're not from america then sorry for asking
yeah, it's a real drag since I really can't just order a handgun I want online even if it would realistically comply with the roster. I *could* get around it if I find the right FFL to do a frame transfer but many don't want to risk anyone breathing down their necks, especially nowadays.
>exempt from NFA
They are exempted by name. Put a stock on. There's fuddlore going around that it has to be an original stock, but this is BS, invented by withered geriatrics who want to feel special. Repro stocks made in the same style as the original are legal. Have fun.

Carved out of specific atf ruling. Same reason why you put a shoulder stock on and off of an arty luger.
good to hear, if I can get ahold of it before it's gone I'll definitely give it a go
BTW shooting with a stock on it is great, aside from the possibility the hammer will whack your thumb. Shooting with no stock looks badass but isn't very comfortable.

I don’t know what a “good price” for a broom handle would be but if it brings you joy that’s all that matters. They’re cool as hell, I’d love to have one. Have fun anon
They sold it to me saying that it was not parts matching, a quick disassembly of it showed that my LGS had no idea what they were on about. Everything with a serial number matches. Condition wise, all tells show original condition, diagonal polishing on floor plate etc.
good deal then anon, I got a beat up almost all matching (darn magazine) 1916 DWM luger for $1800. Could have gotten better deals but this one took me for some reason
to each their own, lots of us buy for practical purposes, some buy to flex on instagram for their 20 followers and put it in the safe for the next decade. you do you
I don't understand this one vs. the other mentality. Interesting historical guns and practical modern guns are not mutually exclusive. There's nothing wrong with picking up a collectable or investment piece once you've got your practical needs covered, whatever those may be.
That's kinda where I'm at. I have glocks, I have gewehr's, and everything in between. With politics being what they are i tend to spend money on the tacticool stuff, but my heart lies with the older shit.
>muh practicality
Some of us don't harbour fantasies of being allowed to legally shoot someone. Anyway, a C96 will fuck some cunt's day up just as much as some pansy-ass glock.
jerkin' it to ya, bud
Nice, anon. Welcome to the club.

Massachusetts? Fucking roster bullshit.

Got any more pics? That finish looks like it's been stripped and reblued but it could just be the lighting
Even if you overpaid by 20% who cares, you got what you wanted after all. (Pulling the figure out of my ass, just making a point)
They’re just gonna keep getting more expensive, he didn’t do bad imo.
Looks nice.
If it's original condition, parts matching and works then you did great.
Put a scope on it and LARP as Han Solo.
