Seems like a foolproof plan, I can't think of any way for the downriver team to counter this.

let them build dam, then wait for flooding. entire population will re-establish Atlantis in the Sahara by causing the Nile to flow from east to west. once Atlantis has been reestablished, use their superior technology to commit genocide on the up river faction. end result

        Nile river conflict

        Upriver faction:
        >Egypt
        >Sudan

        Down river faction
        >Sudan, but up river.
        >Ethiopia
        >Pirates
        >Uganda
        >Kenya
        >the greater dominion of rhodesia
        >a five way civil war of jungle tribes

        Atlantis faction:
        >Nile crocodiles
        >Nile crocodiles, but they are wearing a wig and pretending to be Atlantians returned from space.
        >the city of Atlanta, but full of Nile alligators or... crocodiles so old they lost their teeth.

        casualties:
        >all of the up and down river factions populations
        >nothing of value lost.

      >just genocide most of 300 million civilians and send all the ones who don't die as refugees to Europe
Then NATO gets involved, and we'll get to hear Egyptians still butthurt about it in 2050.

Why the frick would Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, DRC, or South Sudan even give a shit about this? It's all Ethiopia+Eritrea vs Egypt with Sudan stuck in a civil war, maybe if the situation becomes bad enough the Sudanese generals stop fighting and ally Egypt.

    >Rwanda
    >Picking a fight with anyone economically superior to them
    >Ever
They'd sooner accept a contract to host Egyptian military bases from which they could launch offensives from Rwandan borders. They're like the israelites of subsaharan Africa these days

    >versus trash muslim state 1 and trash muslim state 2
It would be a complete stompfest, but in reality that is not what the two blocs would look like if a region wide conflict took place.

    >somalia being coherent enough to even think about international politics
    Lol no.
    >East African Federation
Most of these countries, the DRC in particular, have enough trouble trying to stay together by themselves. Another lol no.
    >buh muh EAC
How's European integration working out? Regional blocks with little purpose are a dime a dozen and don't mean piddly frick. This motley collection is already full of countries with competing goals and mutual dislike. If Europe can't build a federation in the 30 years since Maastricht, East Africans aren't going to either.
