Either Dragonhide, Muffle, Invisibility, or Call to Arms to either buff their defense or reduce their visibility. As for taking a tank out, Mayhem to force the crew to kill each other would be the easiest route. Destruction magic doesn't seem good enough to directly knock out a tank. Maybe a conjugation spell to distract the tank for the mage to sneak up and drop a grenade down the barrel
The essence of a tank is firepower, maneuverability, and armor. So a wizard tank might have it's firepower augmented by magical weaponry like enchantments on the shells or gun barrel, or just an onboard Magical Systems Operator for casting fireball. For maneuverability featherweight spells and teleportation would make tanks truly terrifying, and for defense most magic systems have some sort of ward of protection.
that's dumb who just wakes up in the morning and decides "you know what I hate, magitech"
You know I think a tank is big enough that if you really wanted to you could add redundant "magical" systems to keep the block of steel that makes it up running if one system fails over the other.
An 8th level caster can use Feather Fall to safely deploy tanks or other equipment up to 125 tons from aircraft, or create wands for his 1st-2nd level apprentices to activate.
wizards aren't real

God damn it if only there were some footage of one of those blowing up a Tiger or Panther...or even just a T34
It depends on the magic system
Assuming we're using Arcanum rules the magic practitioner's mere presence would render the tank inoperable.
