Dont care. My uncle took me to see this when I was 10 and I thought those were the coolest guns in existence. Also made me want to own and live on a PT boat.

homie this was in 1999. I'm old.

Deep rising was marvel slop of the 90s. Its from the same guy as the mummy and the scorpion king. I know you're nostalgic and you romanticize things from a time when your life was simpler, but Deep rising is shit.

If you think the mummy is on par with anything made by mcu you're genuinely moronic. Not only deep rising has an original plot, an excellent cast, engaging action and gore, and a soundtrack by king israelite himself Jerry Goldsmith, but is also a cult classic and a cult following. What has marvel made? Forgettable corpo cookie cut politically correct sweatshop made cgi fests that are nothing but money sinks and the only memorable feature is how well they highlight the stagnancy and lack of creativity of modern Hollywood

I like how you shit on marvel and then suck off the mummy when it has tons of shitty cgi effects it's literally the same type slop just from a different time and you're gay too.

              >cgi effects it's literally the same type slop
It's not Lawrence of Arabia, but it's about a straightforward hero defeating supernatural forces and winning over a cute girl. It's a simple but classic formula that runs against everything Marvel does now. They are not the same just because they both use a computer

I guess they'd stay cool. If they have 1000 round drums, they obviously aren't 9mm like the gun they're based on.

5.56 in the movie, there's a couple pick up shots of the empty casings hitting the ground, but never of them actually ejecting on screen i dont think.

Do you think this helped inspire the "Venom Gun" mini vulcan in Return to Castle Wolfenstein,
Or do you think that was baked in since Wolfenstein 3D?
Either way yeah, this weapon would basically function as a very shitty shotgun in conventional situations.
But as a Stopping Rifle against some bigass fantasy monster, it could be useful.
Probably better than an actual real life Stopping Rifle / Elephant Gun, because fantasy monsters tend to be agile for more scare factor.
So as is the case with anti-air ballistic weapons, you'd want a high RoF to compensate for poor target retention.

Gatling guns are cringe. The only time and place Gatling Guns made sense was when the only alternative was 20 individual guys with 20 individual rifles standing in a line formation.

Shot Placement is King. I'd rather use a single bullet to kill precisely instead of 1,000 round spray
