Polling like these are a measurement of public attitude. Answering what people think is the purpose. When analysts are trying to evaluate what will happen, i.e. the outcome, they use a different method. Typically a model and data to be consumed by the model.

That's moronic as the outcome of some political poll is different from an existential war for the sake of your country. For Ukrainians it's essentially existing or not, how could one unless they are especially mopey, not believe they will pull through?

Maybe it's because the west shouldn't be involved at all.

      >Russia, the US and the UK confirmed their recognition of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine becoming parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and effectively abandoning their nuclear arsenal to Russia, and that they agreed to the following:
      >1. Respect the signatory's independence and sovereignty in the existing borders
I get subhuman Russians lacking any honor, so the onus of obligation falls on the shoulders of actual humans.

      >NATO's goal is to bleed Russia white with the minimal amount of political risk at home.
what in the mother frick for?
what does that even mean to "Bleed Russia"?
      why?
why did the US decide to invade Russia?
why did the US just arbitrarily decide to "bleed Russia"?

      Bleed Russia of what?
      and why?
      be specific

      >why did the US decide to invade Russia?
When did this happen? It should, though; the UK and USA should openly declare war on Russia.

The homosexual liberal world order fricked up so motherfricking bad, the men here want to kill ~~*them*~~ with bloody fury, not Russians.

This was supposed to have turned into US boots on the ground by way of wild, grass-roots domestic furor.

        2 decades of Vidya games,

instead they got the absolute scum of the earth, the scum on the botttom of a dumpster someone vomitted in in july, they got redditors and nafo trannies on the craze

the scale of NATO's frick up and the failure of the US invasion of Russia (by proxy) is so massive, it has its own gravitational pull.
a failure so massive it dilates time around it

the issue is that the russians went in without enough men. that is why they got their asses kicked in keiv and took so long to capture severodonets. the ukrainians fully mobilized their entire society to fight the war faster than the russians did. untill now, the russians have been half assing the war. so the ukies had more men after the battle of severodonets and used it to win the battles of kherson and izium. but the russians drafted like 1,000,000 men between the start of the war and now. so the manpower is much more even than it ever has been. this war is going to last years longer, and petreus and mcmaster and hodges were wrong during their predictions last summer.

it looks like the winter offensives arent going to happen, so maybe we will get spring offensives, and we will see what the situation is after that.

NATO's goal is to bleed Russia white with the minimal amount of political risk at home. If Ukraine gets destroyed in the process, then so be it. You think there is any political price to be paid in Germany, France, US, England, or any other nation supporting them if a bunch of Ukrainians die? It would cause way more political backlash if 10 of their soldiers died than 10k or 100k Ukrainians dying.

This type of vote just says that russian terror bombing doesn't have any effect. Germany didn't surrender until commies marched in berlin and hitler killed himself. Russians wont be able to pressure anything until they manage to defeat ukraine completely. Which is unlikely even if they unload their entire male population.
Russians need to understand that they won't win. There is nothing to gain. Even if they won, they would be the ones who will have to rebuild all that shit.

Wars usually last entire years. High likelihood of victory doesn't make it instant. The Axis was doomed to lose WW2 from the very beginning and it still took 6 years (or 8 in Japan's case) for it to happen.
