I haven't turned wrenches (professionally) in like 4 years.
I'm in management.
But I left a part 135 charter/EAS airline back in December. Dispatch constantly did stupid stuff that would cost tens of thousands (but really so did MX Control).
They are a stop-gap measure as we move away from dedicated AWACS platforms. The US had been hoping that the f-35s meshed together would provide the same capability without the vulnerability of centralizing it but the found that the technology still falls short. This is why they sat around on HALF CENTURY OLD planes refusing to upgrade and have only as of last year finally given up hope and are scrambling to acquire the e-7s. 6th gen aircraft will likely be the final nail in the coffin for them (for the US at least).
While its understandable, I feel like in hindsight the huge cost and expertise that the Chinese have put into development of the KJ-2000 and KJ-600 are going to be viewed as a waste and misstep.
...
The same is true of the US but apparently that was not enough. So, I ask again: >Can you name a single nation that is currently fielding all 3 of those platforms then? Is your take that literally all of them are "poorfag?"

Basic language comprehension isn't autism, no matter your lack of it makes you look retarded.
Would "anon" like to rephrase his question?
pretty good
If it works, it works, and you have the civilian sector pulling down your repair and maintenance costs.
Every time I see the wordy business I think of bussy
Business bussy?
you have a problem
Whats the point of such short ranged AWACs?
Bombardier Global Express 6000 actually has a higher range than the E-3, E-7, Wedgetail, etc.
Lmao I forgot how these things take richfags across continents.
You have no idea. I work in the charter industry, I can see business trips with a flight cost of $400,000+ on our schedule
Good morning i hate rich "people"

I'm the general and I want it to spin!
I fucking love AWACS.

If a learjet and a b-1 made love
This is a private business jet. How do you feel about it being used as the airframe for an AWACS?

If your nation doesnt have E7, RC135 and P8s your probably poor and not very good
Technically the US doesn't have any E-7's yet. Care to rephrase?
sounds like poorfag talk to me
Can you name a single nation that is currently fielding all 3 of those platforms then? Is your take that literally all of them are "poorfag?"
The UK is in the process of fielding E-7s, after which it'll check all the boxes
...
