How do you buy a machine gun in the US?

So lets say money isn't the issue. How would one get the proper licenses to buy a NEW full auto machine gun? Not some pre 1986 bullshit. I want new. This is what I got so far, let me know if I'm wrong.
>Have like $30k
>Get an FFL type 1?
>Get an SOT 3
>Find a dealer that sells machine guns.
>Buy and wait like 9 months.
>Shoot on my private land. 100s of acres

I got banned on guns on Reddit for this same post. Not a troll. I'm genuinely trying to buy a full auto because I have a lot of money and I'm bored and people think I'm trolling, even gun store owners lol. Some have hung up the phone on me. I inherited a good chunk of land and money.

At this point it's actually worth going pre ban. All of this shit is going to cost you more than getting a >$30k preban. Not to mention if you do this you have to submit to random searches if your "business" which will most likely be your home unless you buy a storefront too.

In the United States, the purchase and ownership of machine guns are highly regulated by federal law. To legally buy a machine gun, you must follow a strict process that involves obtaining a special license and adhering to several regulations. Here are the basic steps:

    1. Determine if you are eligible: To buy a machine gun, you must be at least 21 years old, be a US citizen, and have no felony convictions, domestic violence convictions, or other legal disqualifications.

    2. Obtain a Federal Firearms License (FFL): Machine guns are classified as "Title II weapons" under the National Firearms Act (NFA), and therefore can only be sold by individuals or entities that possess an FFL. You can either obtain an FFL yourself or purchase a machine gun from a licensed dealer who already has an FFL.

    3. Complete the required paperwork: To buy a machine gun, you must complete a "Form 4" application through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), which requires you to provide detailed information about yourself, the firearm, and the transaction.

    4. Pay the necessary fees: There are various fees associated with buying a machine gun, including a $200 tax stamp fee and any additional fees charged by the dealer or FFL.

    5. Wait for approval: After submitting your Form 4 application and paying the necessary fees, you must wait for approval from the ATF. The approval process can take several months, as the ATF conducts a thorough background check on the buyer.

    6. Take possession of the machine gun: Once your application is approved, you may take possession of the machine gun from the licensed dealer or individual seller.

It is important to note that the process for buying a machine gun is highly regulated and can be time-consuming and expensive. Additionally, some states have their own laws and regulations regarding machine guns, so it is important to research the laws in your specific state before attempting to purchase a machine gun.

    You don't.

You just shoot a semi auto really fast.

With a hard reset trigger, or some bump fire mechanism.

Check out this redneck, you can shoot "full auto" using just your hand.

Guess we gotta ban hands now.

Or, get the proper tax stamp, buy a normal modern full auto weapon or NFA legal full auto conversion. It's very straightforward, I think it costs around $200.

    >????
    >Profit
Why does it have to be legal? Apparently it's never leaving your land. Who in the frick would ever find it?

It is legal, if you go through the process. The local and state law enforcement does not enforce the NFA here, but they could really go after you themselves if they wanted. They've done it before in the past, it wouldn't be unusual, but they typically rely on the co-operation of local law enforcement to enforce the NFA.

You have to be a gun manufacturer making actual sales. The sales do not need to be machineguns. Brandon Herrera (though a bit of a fricking homosexual) is a great example of how to do this. His AK building business isn't actually to build AKs for profit, it's to build the bare minimum number of guns needed to keep his manufacturer SOT valid so he can buy or make all the full auto shit he wants. If you're in a position where you can actually burn hundreds of thousands a year you can do the same.

anon ignore the chatgpt homosexuals in here, i looked into this myself, and its really shitty.
basically the only way is to be an SOT, which is basically someone who can manufacture and sell NFA items, which includes machine guns. being that youre selling machine guns, youre allowed to make a "post-sample" full auto machine gun, as basically a "sample" for when you try to sell actual MGs. The only people you can really sell new production MGs to is just law enforcement and military, but they arent buying shit, and if they were they sure as hell arent buying it from some garage FFL.
That being said youre more than likely going to have to prove to the ATF agent interviewing you for the SOT license that youre actually using this for profit, and at this point it comes down to finding another SOT willing to be a bro and you buy a gun or two from him, and he buys one or two from you and you're squared away for a while, or having enough land to build a commercial range where you can rent out these MGs, for profit again.
Remember, the ATF takes a look at your books each year and if they think youre fricking around and not actually using the license for legit business purposes, they WILL just take it away and not renew it, and will confiscate every MG you have, regardless of if you can make them semi auto again by removing a part or something.
also you have to pay like 700$ every year to renew the license and if you miss it once, the atf will take your MGs again and not give them back even if you renew the license afterwards.
all in all a shit deal. save up the money and buy a 30k transferrable m16 lower reciever. its 30k yes, but as they break and get fricked over time, less and less of them show up and less and less of them even go on sale, so prices will skyrocket. its an investment. buy for 30k today, sell for 50k 10 years from now and use it to put towards buying a house
