Imagine owning all those shitty pistols and not knowing how to use basic iron sights to explain to OP how to shoot with both eyes open. Pathetic gay. You're old too, not some zoomer who just got into dots, no excuse fatty.
OP if you're still here, all the worlds best top shooters in practical handgun sports say that they close or squint their non-dominant eye, and as they progress they notice themselves slowly opening the non-dominant eye until they're shooting with both eyes open. A gradual profession. Eric Grauffel and Ben Stoeger both have said this exact thing. Brian Enos also mentions in his book that you can put a smidge of balm on your shooting glasses, only on the non-dominant eye side, so that you don't fatigue your eyes by closing/squinting one, and train your dominant eye to focus by forcing the dominant eye to do most of the work since your non-dominant eye will have artificially blurred vision. Hope it helps
It's like explaining to someone how to control recoil. They're just words until you put it into practice over hundreds of rounds, and one person's method doesn't work for everyone.
I gave a cheeky answer, but it's not fake or gay and it works immediately lol
the left one is real if you are aiming with your right eye and vice versa. Don't point the gun lined up with your nose, point the gun lined up with your right eye. It comes naturally to me but if it doesn't for you, do some hundreds of reps of presentation/dry fire practice. If you really can't get it, maybe try practicing with one eye open, then once you get your muscle memory down try opening the other eye. Maybe its an eye dominance issue idk
>present the gun in line with my belly button >then turn my head slightly to the right
and boom sight picture
im cross eye dominant so thats why i do the tilt
for the first shot only or all continuous shots?
for the first shot only, dry-firing and just holding the gun
continuous shooting, you need to specifically train for it
you can't do it by shooting, mind you
I THINK I read in some obscure book a tip from an alleged SASfag that you should be able to hold a weight that is 8 times heavier than the recoil impulse in your firing stance attached to the end of the barrel for five minutes straight with zero sway but I think I might be just fucking making it up
but that would probably be a good fucking start since it is an absolute physical feat
>close nondominant eye. >get sight picture with dominant eye. >open other eye >you will see a false, off-center view from your nondominant eye >ignore it, and focus on the view from your dominant eye. >repeat
After enough practice, you will be able to get a proper sight picture by momentarily closing (really just a blink) your non dominant eye when aiming.
With a red dot.

Imagine writing an essay instead of just closing one eye. It's like just close it lol
Just open your other eye
You open both eyes.
I WISH YOU WOULD STEP BACK FROM THAT LEDGE MY FRIEND
>I WISH YOU WOULD STEP BACK FROM THAT LEDGE MY FRIEND
You are the biggest, most gayist moron to ever disgrace this board.
Didnt need em tablets, just another war.

>JUST DO IT
I CANT FUCKING SEE WHERE THE END OF MY GUN IS THERES TWO FUCKING BACK SIGHTS AND I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE IS REAL

Better question: how to achieve video game-tier steady aim?

>How do you aim with 2 eyes open?
Sleep with one eye open.
open them both
target focus
you just do
quite literally
that's all there is to it
I'm not helping people here anymore because the ukrfags are cancer. But there's an actual method for mastering it.
cope vatnig
I shoot with one eye open
Gripping my pistol tight
Exit light
Enter fight
Gun in hand
Send them off to neverland
Learn to aim with one eye and slowly open your non dominant eye.
If you're not cross dominant, just keep both eyes open.
If you are cross dominant, you can't
