Remember the 80/20 rule. You can achieve 80% of the effectiveness spending 20% of the money. The separation of the wheat from the chaff happens after spending the remaining 80% to gain the last 20% of capability. Russia operates in that first 80% realm. This is why their S-400 are being clapped by Atacms.

lmao euros are not even close to the most important trade partner of the US. Mexico, Canada, China and Japan are the biggest trading partners and by a huge margin. Europe is basically irrelevant to the interests of the US aside from ideological sympathies (aka irrelevant bullshit).
The only reason the US political class is so obsessed with europe is because they are cosmopolitan millionaires enamored with the phony culture of prestige and royalty in european nations, no different than how the ancient Roman ruling class became enamored with Greek culture to the detriment and ultimate collapse of the Roman culture and traditions.

US trade goods exports in 2023:
          >EU = $368.76 Bn ($442.76 Bn with the UK)

          >Mexico = $323.23 Bn

Wrong. In 2022 5% of imports came from Germany alone, with 4.4% from Japan. And just the three largest European trading partners, UK, Germany, Netherlands buy more American goods between them than fricking China.

U.S. goods imports from the European Union 27 were $553.3 billion.

Imports from all 27 members of the EU account for not even 20% of all US imports. That's the "most important trading partner"? China, a communist state and enemy, accounts for about the same amount alone as the supposed allied EU.

U.S. goods exports to the European Union 27 were $350.8 billion.

Exports to all 27 members of the EU account for not even 20% of all exports, exports to Canada alone are higher than exports to the EU, a state with 1/10th the population of the EU.

            Oh really? that's surprising.

btw all of the numbers above are ultimately chump change with respect to the overall US economy. Foreign exports/imports are a tiny portion of US GDP and if they went away the life of the average American would barely change.

              >Foreign exports/imports are a tiny portion of US GDP and if they went away the life of the average American would barely change

                >It's not arbitrarily
It is arbitrary, Canada has a land border but the EU has 10x Canada's population. Should I compare per capita to make a more fair comparison for Canada? The fact is that US/EU trade is fricking tiny and any benefit we gain in trade is immediately lost many times over in the amount of time and effort we waste in babysitting their homosexual asses. There is almost no benefit whatsoever gained from the immense amount of time, money and effort spent by the US for the sake of the EU. The fact that fricking Mexico is now a far bigger trading partner than the EU speaks volumes, a borderline third world country with a barely stable government and a fraction of the EU's population does more business with the US LMAO.
Russia poses zero threat to the US aside from nukes which the EU can do absolutely nothing to defend against anyway. There is literally ZERO benefit to the US in babysitting eurohomosexuals. Meanwhile the actual threat to US interests, China, coasts by because our leaders are tied up 24/7 making sure to change the diapers of eurohomosexual leaders who are terrified of the prospect of having to defend themselves but apparently not terrified enough to actually do something about it for 80 fricking years.

There's TONS of shit America just does not produce at ALL. If all trade was gone overnight it's not like we can just whip up all the world's worth of manufacturing in the blink of an eye. Not to mention as

mentioned you're only counting GOODS. If you count services the story is entirely different and the EU an order of magnitude more important. Then the total trade is $4T or about 1/6th of GDP

I do agree with you that China urgently needs to be glassed though

                >. If you count services the story is entirely different
                Is it?

                >The United States is the largest services exporter in the world. In 2022, U.S. exports of services were $926.0 billion, up 16.4 percent ($130.7 billion) from 2021. U.S. exports of services account for 30.7 percent of overall U.S. exports in 2022. Ireland was the largest purchaser of U.S. services exports in 2022 accounting for 9 percent of total U.S. services exports. The top five purchasers of U.S. services exports in 2022 were: Ireland ($83.1 billion), the United Kingdom ($80.9 billion), Canada ($69.5 billion), Switzerland ($52.4 billion), and China ($42.2 billion). U.S. services exports to the European Union 27 were $238.6 billion.
So EU is 25% of services export, barely higher than that for goods, but the export of services is also half the size of the export of goods, again ~$240 billion is fricking chump change to the US economy, we literally hand over more than that on a silver platter in terms of aid and military defense to the eurogays.

                >Was.
Too bad it took 40 fricking years. In the meantime our entire industrial base was gutted and millions of people's quality of life nosedived with it, a gorillion tons of toxic garbage was injected into the earth from them making all of the shit that we should have been making, and they are now in the middle of a gigantic buildup of military hardware that will probably be a huge headache for us in the future. We could have avoided all of this by simply not selling our soul for cheap chink garbage, but hey, at least a few bankers became multi-billionaires from it and then crashed the world economy for fun.

So glad the "rules based international order" decided that unrestricted laissez-faire free trade with a literal single party communist state was LE GOOD! We wouldn't want to be unfair to the poor heckin' little communist dictatorship now would we, that would be against the RULES :~~*

It is literally still why NATO exists, guess fricking what times have changed in the last 80 years.

        > ... Japan are the biggest trading partners
Wrong. In 2022 5% of imports came from Germany alone, with 4.4% from Japan. And just the three largest European trading partners, UK, Germany, Netherlands buy more American goods between them than fricking China.

        >lmao euros are not even close to the most important trade partner of the US.
In fact I just looked it up, the US exports to the entire european union combined are less than those to fricking Canada lmao, and an absolutely minuscule, negligible percentage of the overall US economy.

It would be great if a continent of 400+ million people with a combined economy larger than the US could pull their own fricking weight and defend themselves, but 80 years on of every US president asking them to cover their own ass and we are still sitting with a giant continent sized albatross hanging around our neck.
Hopefully Trump gets in so I can see every eurohomosexual leader shit their pants in real time KEK.

Go back to your hole 5th columnist useful idiots. Europe buys 1/4th of all American exports and provides 1/6th of American imports. If we exclude the land neighbors Mexico and Canada, Europe stands for like 1/3rd of all the remaining American trade. Now imagine what happens when relations with China inevitably turn sour.

As for Americans we exist to kill our enemies and our allies enemies. That's it. Nothing else will matter in our lives times. How well we kill the enemy in the next 100 years will define our legacy.

Yeah the American taxpayer has a god given duty to work and pay taxes so Francois and Hans can enjoy their 32 hour work week and 20 weeks vacation without interruption, wouldn't want our dear "allies" to ever have to lift a finger in their own defense.

Because most of the drooling morons on here still havent realized that the vast majority of the effectiveness of any system is the crew that operates it

Why have vatBlack folk created this fake narrative about "wunderwaffen"? I have literally never seen anyone pro-Ukraine claim they are so, except the most delusional NAFO homosexuals (which probably are falseflag vatBlack folk to begin with). The most common claim is that they are of better quality and are 10x more survivable than any Russian equipment.

Ukrainians operating both NATO and Soviet/Russian equipment all praise western stuff for being more thought out, easier to operate and save operators lives instead of Russian stuff which send you to the moon when touched.

US military isn't "overly effective" given the billions they can spend on it, it's honestly underwhelming.
Euros weapons are overtly effective given the money they can spend on it, but they can't produce in quantity to make a difference.
Russian military is more like a cargo cult of mostly lost Soviet glory and cannot possibly compete even if they spent 70% of their GDP on it.

I find it more interesting that the categories that the US didn't have anything to to contribute have had a significant effect, specifically Wheeled SPGs (Dana, Zuzanna, Caesar, and Bohdana) and fighter launched standoff weapons like Storm Shadow/SCALP, which were mostly developed to cope with not being the US.
