      What the fuck is this? I cant see a possible way for this to work well. The second picture ok, but the first one looks like a fire hazard.

      From my experience (two times in total lmao) if you bury the log holding sticks, it should be fine as long as its attended. I wouldn't recommend leaving it overnight, as those stick might fall over from the logs occasionally falling too hard.
