cosmetic wear is aesthetic as frick.

That’s why I got a full size RXP, rifles easy pistols hard

          why bother?

I don’t like how much the silver sticks out in sunlight, I live in the desert, but I have holster wear too so I’m also wondering if I should just leave it, not a safe queen

Does the sight not work? Shit happens, scribble some sharpie on it and move on.

I want to make it like a green holosun, I think I have a sharpie somewhere

How often are you going to be open carrying in a desert while also trying to remain covert but also do it in the daylight for some reason?

It sounds like you're coming up with problems in your mind that you would never actually encounter in your day to day life.

Makes your gun looks like you actually use it. Throw your gun at the concrete a bit so the rest of the gun matches your optic.

I could frick up and get a scratch that looks stupid like a nutsack

I only buy pawn shop guns
they come pre-distressed like gucci pants and they make people think i shoot regularly (i do not)

          that’s a pretty cool gun, I wish I had a p320 with a safety

Just add more scratches like restoration hardware does and call it battleworn.

I think it’s how the scratches aren’t even lined up

How often are you going to be open carrying in a desert while also trying to remain covert but also do it in the daylight for some reason?

It sounds like you're coming up with problems in your mind that you would never actually encounter in your day to day life.

I meant when I go shooting in the desert and I see this scratch just glistening
Since it’s just this one part, it’s more of a “I don’t take care of my guns” look instead of a character one
Slid scratches would be cool, not the corner of a red dot

Lmao I'm sorry buy only the homosexualist homosexual looks at someone else's slightly blemished kit that came from it being used and goes "wtf this moron doesn't treat his tools like the dildo I wash everyday and put back in its protective sheath".

If your gun is a rusty piece of shit, then people will think "this person doesn't take care of their firearms". If they act like that because of natural wear and cosmetic blemishes caused by it getting dropped which is eventually going to happen if you're actually training, then they're a LARPing homosexual and you should not listen to their wiener breath complaints.

leave it be. If you are incapable of that, use a q-tip to paint it with paint from a hobby store.

I'll give you an actual answer since this thread is full of morons.

If you want to deal with it the right way, smooth it out using sandpaper until you're using very high grit sandpaper, then use cold blue on it. Obviously don't dip the entire sight in it.

lol, go ahead and use cold blue like this guy says
      It'll be funny

You don't because firearms are tools like a drill or a wrench.

just get some black model paint at the hobby store or hit it with a sharpie marker.
