Mature anime like Ghost in the Shell was a total mind frag, bros
Maybe it was the uncanny dubs, 11:00 AM insomnia, or simply being 12-years-old at the time
Only thing clear is that a shaped charged on that thing's cylinder/dome/thorax will end its high pitched, mid 00s digitally animated existence

Those are the crew pods. They are detachable and the robo spoderman body is the "brains" of these adorable murderbots.

Each one of them can be constructed quite differently. It's best to know how are they constructed.
Anything works on vehicles would work against them. Trapping if they are too burdened, obstruct entangle bend their actuators and turrets, obscure and shatter their optics and radar shroud, penetrate their armor, and blow a big hole to destroy major component, such as the powersource and fuel tank. Air intake are heat exchanger can be smothered. Bonus point if there is an operator to kill and radiowave to jam. Software program can be fooled but you have to know.

The Akira manga has some scary military robots that show up and frazzle some looters with electricity. By the end of the manga the refugees have figured out how to knock them over with improvised landslides and pee into their works to short circuit 'em.

    tl;dr pee into 'em

Depends on the robot, or your ability to analyse said robot

With today's technology, as many have already pointed out, salty water and/or netting are good places to start. Signal jamming will be a good avenue for a while, and stuff like magnetic buckshot could be interesting to try.

IEDs, hope the shockwave fricks with the electronics. Also assuming you're fighting them guerilla style.
If it's Generation Zero robots you're fighting 80s tech, just be cautious and set up ambushes since the programming will be simple and predictable. With Terminator robots you're fricked so at least make your hits count so others can profit from them. With Matrix robots just fricking pray.
If you're fighting police robots like in Ghost in the Shell, you're better off learning tech ways to avoid engagement, and generally lay low so as not to draw enough heat to end up fighting one.

    >if it's primary vision is a camera.
    >Spray paint the entire bunker in reflective IR paint to blind at night
    >place recognition markers around the house to confuse the AI

Most likely the robots wouldn't be your biggest problem. It would be the predator drones who watched you set all this up only to have a missle land on top of you with an error margin of less than .00001 of an inch.

this. you'll never see real combat robots since they're designed to kill you before you have the chance to look at them, even accidentally, see them and point your gun at them. they have a constant 360° view and the same millisecond that the first piece of you appears somewhere you'll be dead a split second later without ever knowing what killed you because they'll give you no time to ever notice them. if they can't rotate their gun fast enough they'll burn your eye with a laser the first microsecond that your eye becomes visible while the gun rotates.
