HESH, HE rounds, old school non saboted AP/APHE rounds. Stryker isn't exactly known for being well protected, you can see the lack of composites from that image.
>A wrecked and burned out M113A1 armoured personnel carrier (APC) of A Squadron, 3 Cavalry Regiment, stands on a bare patch of ground at the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base. The APC had been hit by three rounds of recoilless rifle fire during Operation Bribie in the Light Green on 1967-02-17, one of the rounds killing the driver, 3786644 Trooper Vic Pomroy.. The crew commander was Corporal Geoff Strachan, who was wounded. After the APC was disabled by the enemy shells, Australian soldiers set it on fire to prevent the Viet Cong from salvaging it for their own use.
Sheet metal toy. That's why you see photos of soldiers riding on top of it. No one wanted to be inside of an M113 when it got hit.

>That's why you see photos of soldiers riding on top of it
because of mines on the patrol
it takes 20 seconds to fin d photos of them riding inside it
especially in conventional battles, which did happen in vietnam, they ride inside of it exactly like they trained
> No one wanted to be inside of an M113 when it got hit.

you do realize that the big, long things they keep in a tank turret are still called cannons, right?
Kek, I only just noticed that it wasn't a BTR. I'm so used to seeing mountains og blown out slavshit that I just saw four wheels and thought BTR without actually looking at it.
Yeah but it is THE most erotic shit box ever devised by mortal hands.
Not a single fucking vehicle comes close.
If they’re so shit, why won’t homeland donate me some btw?
Former mech infantry here, deployed with a Stryker brigade back in 09. Strykers aren't even rated against a dushka. Calling them "armored" isn't even that accurate. They're an IFV. They aren't armor. Pretty much anything can peel one open like a can. It's impressive that more haven't been lost.
Thankfully, no. Maybe it's changed (2009 was a long time ago now), but back in the day, we didn't even have the V-hulls they retrofitted. And boy do I have some stories about the flat hulls, but that's beside the point of this thread.
They are. They are a Swiss piranha 3 with applicate armor to stop AP heavy machine gun fire. They kept the boat shaped hull and skinny tires even though the armor package made them too heavy to float and the ground pressure makes them sink into the ground. They didn't even get a good weapons system and have a 50 cal for a main armament because the Army wanted to larp with them as C-130 transportable vehicles. They are trash. Give them all away.
>Because I thought all modern American IFVs could withstand .50 cal
stryker is officially .30cal on the sides and 14.5mm on the front
add-on armor bumps it up to 14.5mm on all sides
with the add-on armor, this puts in the same protection range as basically every other APC out there and fairly well protected
>3 inch bazooka
Nyet, is obviously glorious rifle of Mosin Nagant. West should of demoralizing that such weapons are being in hands of Russian soldiers.
Slat armor might help but it would make it way too heavy for even the kind of mud you might inside Ukrainan urban areas let alone somewhere in a field.
>"yea but russia lost 10x times that so our ratio is waaay better"
ok, and?
That's the germanic cope mentallity all over again that has infiltrated the us military doctrine. >"we won cauz what matters is that we loss less than our opponent on the battlefield x)"
Germany had a positive ratio against ussr as well.
But I guess Ukraine is gonna have the same fate seeing how they love larping as german cucks (one of the shittiest military in the world, there's a reason why they lost two world wars).
See that's exactly what I'm talking about: >"they were outnumbering us" >"it's was us against the world"
That's your fucking problem (not to mention that germans are always responsible for that shit LET'S DECLARE WAR ON THE US AND USSR LMAOOOOO).
In the end germancucks are eternal losers which means that indeed, they can't fight for shit and not a single military school should EVER copy them. That's what the US thanksfully did after vietnam and lead to the glorious 1991 war.
Wrong, the USSR annihilated them on land
And the bongs annihilated them on sea despite their old boats.
The only reason german military is glorified is because the US had a shitload of german immigrants and they wanted to rehabilitated the myth of german might in the cold war which eventually backfired as the US military started to believe this shit.
> The Red Army would have collapsed in late 1942 if it hadn't been for the US propping them up.
Wrong again. Late 1942 Stalingrad + Moscow already happened. The Kraut already suffered a complete strategical defeat. And even if that was the case, that's germany's problem and just another cope. >"w-we would have won if X did not happen"
Looks like russian cope about the fact that they didn't take Ukraine cauz they are fighting the entire NATO in Ukraine.
The Battles of Moscow and Stalingrad only went in the Soviet favor because of the US supporting the USSR. The Red Army wouldn't have been able to execute Operation Uranaus or Saturn as their entire army would have been out of every supply they needed because they wouldn't have American trucks and locomotives to move their domestically produced goods to the front. They also wouldn't have Amerocan food imports or ammunition imports. Over half of American ammunition production went to the Soviets during the war.

Never forget
With the outbreak of war these plants switched from civilian to military production and locomotive production ended virtually overnight. Just 446 locomotives were produced during the war,[39] with only 92 of those being built between 1942 and 1945.[40] In total, 92.7% of the wartime production of railroad equipment by the USSR was supplied by Lend-Lease,[35] including 1,911 locomotives and 11,225 railcars[41] which augmented the existing stocks of at least 20,000 locomotives and half a million railcars

84mm MT756 Anti Structure Grenade.
A recoilless rifle would be my first guess
It did it on its own.
The five-point palm exploding heart technique
An A-10 pilot mistook it as British
.45 ACP
There is a door the opens out. Looks like it got forced open the wrong way and peeled some of the hull in with it.
