The resell value of ny honda is worth more than when I bought it. What are toy talking about you mouth breathing moron?

Maybe in some parallel moron universe all those claims are true. In the world I inhabit SUVs and trucks are popular and used vehicle prices in those categories are ridiculous. Old Ford Broncos are now about $15,000 (1980s and 1990s). EVs are a tiny fraction of new car sales. If the batteries don't radically improve they'll be a dead end experiment.

      >$15000 US for a bronco from the 80's-90's
Yeah and they won't take any lowballers or tire kickers neither.
      https://www.kijiji.ca/b-ontario/ford-bronco-1990/k0l9004?rb=true&dc=true
The one 1990 Ford Bronco for sale in Toronto on Kijiji is asking for 8500 Canadian (6150USD).

      >EVs are a tiny fraction of new car sales
      Yeah and they're growing quickly.
      https://news.yahoo.com/us-electric-vehicle-sales-surge-154651101.html
Grew 80% last year alone, even while total sales declined.

      >if the batteries don't radically improve
Solid state batteries, Sodium batteries, and Aluminum ion batteries are all ramping up for production, and charge faster, last longer, and are more energy dense than modern lithium ion batteries. Toyota plans to introduce solid state batteries in next year's PIHV selection.

I know, and I make a nice profit doing so at YOUR expense.....every 5,000 miles. Combustion engines need so much maintenance. All the tesla customers do is bring in their cars for rotations and air.

people do not want EVs they want Teslas, its just a status symbol, they will argue they save $800 a year on gasoline meanwhile spending $100 on one supercharge

Yeah no one gives a shit about saving muh evironment, theyre built like tanks drive themselves. Every doctor Ive seen drives them because they commute alot. Pic rel is where that tesla fell off a cliff and the girl survived. You really have to witness the CA coast cliffs in person to see how mind bogling steep they are

Spoken like somebody who's never driven one. Tesla's are the Apple equivalent of cars for npc consumers.

Gas prices here are down $1.50 from the high. Still not back to Trump-era prices but getting there. Have fun with all those service charges on charging.

Awesome. I just bought a 2010 Sequoia with just a click over 100k miles. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Kind of didn’t have a choice though. Have twins on the way and a young daughter. 3 kids fills up the seats quick. Thanks for asking though.

How’s that battery powered paperweight treating you?

Man I wish I could order myself a used burger car without having to pay an arm and a leg on taxes. E.g. a '84 bronco (closest match to an example above I could find on a whim) with 120k kms on it is like $26k here. Probably costs extra due to the novelty though - except so will the parts. Additionally there's an extra demand for discounted 4wd high clearance cars here because of volunteers buying those and sending them to the warzone which drives the prices up. One thing's for certain: no one would want a brand spankin new ev car out there.
