it's probably will be overturned in the 9th circuit either next month or next year. keep your eye on the case.
that's gay
expect bonta to figure out a way to drag it back to the supreme court and waste everyone's time even in the face of bruen
bonta ruled against it before so I sorta expect him to do it again honestly
at this point they're just looking for as many ways as possible to stretch the court dates as long as possible, in the hopes that someone on the supreme court gets too old and dies. that's their only hope. there's no personal drawbacks to not following the supreme court for bonta or any of the other politicians/officials so they don't give a frick. there are counties in the bay area that are basically ignoring the bruen ruling and will have to be brought to court over not even beginning the process of ccw issuing
Is it really that much of an issue that you can only blow through $4 in ammo before needing to reload rather than $12 in ammo?
the ak's magazine is like 50% of its aesthetic. if you think pic related looks alright, you must think trannies do as well
get a pinned mag
that's basically equivalent to a trap
You can remove the pin when the fed boys are not looking
Many AK mags aren't even pinned too, they just have very easily removable brackets inside. So once the mag bans are inevitably struck down, take them out with pliers.
>So once the mag bans are inevitably struck down, take them out with pliers.
Or just like, immediately after buying them.
The feds don't give a frick. Neither do the sheriffs outside King County. The State Patrol has done some perfunctory stops at the borders, especially with Idaho, and they've been occasionally sending guys in to shake down gun shows. No sting ops yet from what I've heard, they're too busy dealing with things that make them money.
All the tankies and average bozos are whining at the counter, then buying handguns in the highest caliber they can still fit in their hands, and finally returning them for a 10-shot .380 or fullsize 9mm single-stack a couple months later. It's been a good time for buying revolvers and 1911s, I've seen a kitted-out Canik .45 go for $300 cash-in-hand. Most of the serious shooters already have a shitload of mags that we stocked up on months ago, and very few of them are currently taking the ban seriously in any way. Lever and pump sales are also WAY up now, especially mag-fed ones.
I think the mag looks fine. Fight me homosexual
>Bootleg SVD
Just get the real deal at that point. It's like buying a bersa thunder just to cut corners over price involving the PPK, just get the good real shit and settle for no less.
>why spend several hundred dollars when you can pay used car/new motorcycle prices for a used gun?
Frick off moron.
What is it with people randomly mentioning they're trannies out of the blue, look I'm sure there's a guy out there for you, don't catastrophize
PNWers are a different breed
>he didn’t buy mags for guns he doesn’t even own yet
I live in OR, and I bought 5.56 AK mags because I want a Beryl lol
do people drive to oregon to buy mags? or are they banned there too?
no but they're about to be if measure 114 passes on Nov 8, which i give it 50/50 honestly.
Pro tip you should purchase them with cash if you plan to move or take them to the apple state as the transaction won’t be traced back to you if you were to bring them here.
Buy mags for guns you don’t own yet but would like to in the future.
yep I have bought glock mags, 5.56 AK mags, 5.45 AK mags, G3 mags, FAL mags... feels bad to have to do it, but it also feels good not being a poorgay. i'll find a job in Texas next year.
I'm buying guns (and magazines to go with them) since I don't plan on getting the permit. Maybe I should focus more on magazines in case they somehow delay the permit requirement because it's taking so long to implement.
Its pretty frickin gay here. I did what said and got a frickton of magazines before the ban for everything I could foresee myself ever getting, and thats worked out well as I've made one or two purchases since and its nice to have everything set already. Only thing thats changed for me is dropping a mag when out shooting becomes 10x as stressful. Theres a handful of guns that I've also grown to want since the ban went into effect that I regret not preparing for, like the sig mpx or a FAL, so that sucks.
Nice pic reference
I just ignore it. Some online shops won't ship here now, annoying but whatever.
Make your mags or make a shitty belted system or settle and get an SVD because Washington needs more snipers.
real tawlk what are the options for getting around this? Can i just drive to a gs in OR? Won't they see my WA License if they ID me?
yea, but what will they do? worst is they will not sell it to you. if they do, it isn't illegal. it only becomes illegal if you cross the border into WA.
if a gun store IDs you for mags its not worth shopping there. Half of the sheriffs in Washington have released statements that they're not enforcing the law anyways.
>drive to idaho/oregon
>buy mags
only inconvenience is that if you have not-common guns that take mags over 10rds you cant buy them online, and have to pay a few bucks per mag more due to the gun store boomer tax.
>BBBUT ITS ILLEGAL!!!
it's completely unenforceable against individuals. The law can only really frick you if you're bringing them into the state to sell.
Oh shit thats me in OP's pic
Its nice to see your self return as a semi-semi-semi-semi-semi-popular meme and every now and again
Neat, I made the IRA wojak someone used for the Death Grips remix associated with /k/
Is there no grandfather clause for mags made before the ban? Mbuttholes try to bum old romy mags off me because cops cant prove they're post ban
