>giant tungsten holes in everything >"oh yeah that'll buff right out"
Even in a miss it turns machines into swiss cheese.
Looks like instantaneous ground burst. Tungsten genocide brouhaha warhead is typically set as an airburst to maximise zigger death. Plus those frag holes are large, jagged and irregular as is typical of demage we've seen from the lozenge-shaped frag produced by unitary HE.
must be very frustrating, as the object is clearly there, just with an endless amount of tiny holes. You can't repair that, you gotta replace so many parts. You're effectively just keeping the frame.

>1:25 >the frame is broken right through
no, you're not keeping that either
Both the frame and the engine block are perforated.
Is of easy, pour in some concrete into holes and no more holes, rugged Russian ingenuity wins again!
I have a stupid question: when a tank or something similar like an SPG gets hit in battle by, say a 30mm autocannon or M30A1, what will the crew do from that point on assuming they're unharmed? Do they have any way of knowing if their main gun is damaged, and what happens if it is and they still try to fire it anyway?
So you are saying it returned on its own power?

just a scratch

In my unprofessional opinion this was M31A1.
>gun in the followup appears to be in exact same orientation as during strike
I'd bet all the Immodium in India that the turret drive is skullfucked.

Perf.
It didn't completely detonate so I can somewhat understand that vatmorons see this as a win.
Is Fine
can they prove it's same SPG?
You don't need that recoil mechanism anyways, some holes in it are fine.
And now show the backside of the vehicle.

Assess whether the gun can be salvaged and get out. No you're not playing a game of risk and seeing if it'll explode or not.
>say a 30mm autocannon
If your artillery is getting hit by autocannons you have bigger problems than whether the gun still works
>it returned under its own power
Yep it's a total loss.
How come it’s zoomed in shots of part of it but no picture of the full thing?
Because overall its probably fucked, and about to join about a hundred others like in a russian vehicle graveyard.
At best, the gun is off the field indefinitely for repairs and, most importantly, not shooting. Is this supposed to own the hohols?
