It's called a mortise lock.Try flea markets and upcycling shops and such. They are not uncommon to find in the US at such shops. But rarely ever seen in use.

      >mortise lock
yeah yeah yeah I know. There is many new mortise locks, but they use new size and this one is really old.
For example, I also want to buy Yale P89 which is quite popular in Europe. And its size has remained unchanged since maybe 1900s.
So maybe you also produce new locks with same proportions like mine?

Mortise locks are still made and are still very common in entry doors.

OP may need to modify the mortise pocket and/or holes and strike plate mortise to accommodate a newer mortise box, but there's all kinds of trim options that make for a seamless installation.

Sorry can't help with euro sources but they can't be that hard to find...Balwin is a major manufacturer and other companies make them as well, sitecwont let me post links but search "mortise locks" and a ton of them come up, including HD and Lowes selling multiple brands.

I talked with Russian specialists in locks and doors and he said that none of russian look can't fit in this pocket.
And I thought some European/american can. I mean can without modifying.

Honestly if it were up to me, I'd just spray some good oil in that thing and find a skeleton key that fits and just use it.

Why not? Looks like an interior door for like a bedroom or something so it's not super critical to be THAT secure.

If you never find a lock in dimensions you can work in to that door, you can always fill the mortise with some scrap wood, put a piece of metal over the opening on the edge of the door, and re drill for a cylinder lock.

As simple as those are, you could have someone make one. Very simple machine shop work.

Just repair the fricking lock, you god damn mong. They don't make those any more, and even when they did, they didn't just throw shit out because it doesnt work well. Open it up, figure out what's not working. If something is catching sticking or jamming, oil and file at it untill it moves right. If there is a broken part, make a new part to replace it. It's very fricking easy
