Germany doesnt allow the export of Weasels, its their strongest weapon for a reason and the risks of it falling into enemy hands and giving the Russians the technological edge over NATO by reverse engineering it are too high.

Germany is a country of lying cope. They're only giving Marders because they had a stockpile of broken west-german Marders and they found somebody else to pay for the repair of these broken Marders that they're sending to Ukraine.

They're not exporting Weasels because they have a grand total of 16 Weasels and no more.

They can't give one to Ukraine by "accident" so Ukraine can reverse-engineer the design in 20 years, lol?

Defrick do you want with Wiesel in the Ukraine? It doesn't fricking make sense and is not supporting their doctrine at all. I fricking hate this moronic low IQ anti-german sentiment when they sent a shit ton of actual aid already.

            >mobile ATGM platform with an autocannon that provides shrapnel and small arms protecting that runs on commercially available parts
            >why wouldn't you want that?
It's essentially a tracked technical. Everyone would want that as a defensive military. The issue is that Germany are homosexuals and won't export arms unless it is making fat stacks of cash. Wiesels likely cost frick all and they can't keep Ukraine on the rope for the long term because they literally run off a bunch of Volkswagen car parts and you can mount basically any guided ATGM on them with some effort. They don't even really need the autocannon. You could shove a 14.5 on them and still maintain 99% of modern mission parameters.

They're getting IFV's for that including the Marder which does all of the jobs better, is better protected, has seats for infantry, more ammunition, better range, better terrain mobility. There is not a single reason to sent Wiesel of all things to the Ukraine.

It's a caliber already used on their ships.

why the non articulated double track

So if it hits a landmine and isn't instantly atomized it can try to reverse out of the minefield. Autism.

          >It's a caliber already used on their ships.
no I know that, our ships have the same gun, I just don't get why they or their export customers buy into non-standard chambering. 25 or 30 like normal people please just not this germautism in-between nonsense.

nta but my thought was they developed it from a regualr 4x4 so split the track to make use of front and back drive sprockets

Why not just go with wheels at this point ? Its probably light enough to get BTR tier ground pressures

Truthfully? I'd unironically take that to a beach. Get a nice tumbler with iced tea, a beach blanket, an umbrella, etc.

Give the design to the Ukrainians. They'll drive right under the Russians or something, lol.
