I have a regular b14 and it's a half-moa gun. The heavy barrel and adjustable stock are obvious upgrades on that, so expect a very accurate, comfortable gun. It's heavy enough for .300 wm to be comfortable to shoot, especially with a brake. I've been able to feel up the HMR version quite a bit and I like the feel. Only gripes are that a 90 degree throw is kinda annoying in regards to scope clearance, the cheek piece doesn't have that wide of an adjustment range (seems to only have a couple of settings before it pops out), and I'm not the biggest fan of the speckled paint job. Everywhere it counts though, it's a fantastic gun.
Not particularly good because it has a 24" barrel and fires 300WM from a 3 round magazine. Somewhat tricky to conceal, but effective to a much greater range than most CC choices. It also has more energy at the muzzle than pretty much anything else, short of a dedicated dangerous game cartridge.
Buddy of mine at the range who does a lot of long range shooting has one, I think in 6.5PRC. He’s very fond of it, been pretty impressed with its accuracy.
No self respecting, God fearing man would ever use anything smaller than .300 WM, or bigger than .300 WM, nothing lighter than 180gr, nothing heavier than 180gr on skinwalkers. (Gobless)

I really want to get one in .300 WM for hunting and long range.
They are really good rifles out of the box, one of the only bolt guns that you can just toss a scope on and be good to go, almost every single other one I've owned that wasn't milsurp I needed to put a different stock on. It was also surprisingly heavy about a pound heavier than I expected but it's not a big deal. Only real issue is getting magazines for them if you want more than 1 because they are expensive and hard to come by

i just picked up my second savage 110, first in 300wm this one in 300prc. I've got friends that run the rpr, lots of the savages and lots of the bergaras. bergara is hit or miss whether the shit faced spaniard decided to tape off the stock before he painted it, fricking the bedding over. savage, ruger, tikka, Thompson center all shoot.
Does the savage 110 have an moa guarantee, or is it any good in comparison in general? They're cheaper but honestly I like the aesthetic of those rifles more than the minimalist european shit.
Not meme calibers, the 300 WM has a garbage shoulder angle and unnecessary belt that serves no purpose.
The 7mm PRC might shape up to be the best all around big game cartridges made to date, the 300 PRC may be a bit overkill, but at least its modern.
.300 WM is the most popular and best all around big game cartridge currently and will be for decades to come. And there are actually hundreds of hunting rifles chambered in it and it is available.
Yes, the 0.000001 moa it could theoretically make in your groups at 1000yds sure does matter. Quit being such a consoomer goy and falling for market hype.
nta, but people who shit on 300wm for the belt don't know that the week spot is actually the primer bussy. unless you're using sig/adg brass you'll gape the primer pocket in 2-3 rounds of full pressure magnums vs the 10 or so shots needed to get belt bulge

That is not what the MOA guarantee says. And you know, if you get one that doesn’t shoot, you can always return it to Bergara. Unlike Savage shitsticks, which don‘t come with an MOA guarantee for their standard models and also don‘t win 1000 yard competitions.

from the factory if you go with a savage 110 tactical, they come loaded with the features you want for long range >aics pattern mags for short and long action, can extend your seating depth and shrink the jump to lands >very accurate barrels >internal aluminum chassis that the action beds into for a very secure and solid lockup >fully adjustable length of pull and comb height >all the calibers you would want for long range >large knurled bolt handle is a nice touch >dual sling studs so you can use a bipod and a sling (you will likely find this useless) >20 moa optics rail from the factory >fully adjustable trigger from 1.5 to 4lbs
they're a massive value for less then 700 bucks
I have on a B14 HMR chambered in 6.5CM. It's a very decent factory gun and as accurate as you could hope for ~$1k. I've also spent some time behind the upgraded "pro" variant which has an arguably better trigger and upgraded barrel and action. Accuracy was not hugely different between them using match cartridges, if I was buying today I would have a hard time justifying the extra vost of the pro variant based solely on the trigger, as the base HMR's trigger is still plenty serviceable and the action, while less buttery smooth, is still plenty good. Both variants are sub-MOA capable from my hands-on sample size. There is no shortage of competition these days in the factory MOA or better bolt gun game, which is great. While beefy, I thoroughly enjoyed the HMR's stock and overall ergos compared to similarly priced options from the usual competitors. The rifle is a fine choice.
B-14 HMR (especially im .300 WM) is a total no-brainer for hunting and target shooting. The beefiness makes it a dream to shoot, but it still isn‘t so beefy as to be too heavy to take hunting. And with .300 WM you got a cartridge that will kill everything in NA, Europe and Africa with authority. Just a really based rifle with based ergos and at a based price.
