Hard Body Armor

What hard body armor do y'all recommend? I looked into Hoplite armor and it seems pretty legit.

The Spartan body armor is sold by Israel, and I will not be buying anything from those people for any reason.

If you have recommendations can you please post a good YouTube demo of the performance of the armor? I'm also wondering about price. What are these armor sets worth? I see the light armor Hoplite set is over $10k.

Fun fact. Humans are one of very few mammalian species, and the only primates, that lack a penis bone.
Probably because they evolved away from it when they became bipedal, due to being whacked in the ding so much.

i just want something above my soft armor.

it sounds like there level IV is the highest, and i think under 5k for what i see in the picture is reasonable.

sure hope you enjoy wearing something like that in whatever situation you think you'll be getting shot in. IIIA armor is fine for almost every handgun round.
Guess you expect to take on machine gun fire.

Hoplite is fine, they sell Hesco
    Just get hesco.
Prioritize soft armor over hard if you're looking for shit you can actually use, but otherwise given that you can get level IV hesco for like $200/plate now, there's absolutely zero reason not to just get it.

Hoplite sells LTC, not Hesco. Hesco has failed multiple NIJ tests, while LTC has not.

what do you mean? is hoplite white labeling this Hesco brand youre talking about? are there any known differences between the two? how big are the price differences?

he ships un target patchs and stickers with every plate purchase if you ask for them in the notes. At least he did when I ordered the level iii m855 shoulder armor he was selling.

Highcom and Hoplite/LTC. Both are Berry-compliant - USA materials not just assembly - and have a long history of filling commercial contracts without high-profile failures like RMA.

Highcom is mid at best. Very mediocre specs and materials, and generally overpriced for what you get.

The cost for a modern suit of knight armor, with pieces being out of production, discontinued due to cost, and weight is upwards of 80-90k with radio equipment, and weapons systems added. Simply put its more of a status of lower nobility in the human caste system to be both white and so privledged to own more then one property and inherit more in this rising dark skined age of humanity. Regression via brain drained automation will also be a factor. For every smart hud no corners cut modern knight you could have tens of thousands of shock troops, or 700k in brown gorillia fodder with 3d printed equipment to deal with drone muntions by the year 2040. Anyone With the features I would have would be more or less attached to field command to direct map and visual feed i.d of targets via air thanks to having alternative drone air support for opposition. Hoplite has some clearance sales and you can get front and back SAPI plates for 400 bucks with a multi hit level IV rating, it’s the older heavier design so that’s the trade off

    Hesco or Adept are cool.

That's pretty much it. For level IV plates, the 4800 and Colossus have clearly been the best options for years now.

Highcom for steel, Hesco for ceramic. There's no excuse for a small plate of basic material like steel or ceramic to cost thousands. They're taking advantage of your paranoia.

Steel rifle plates are moronic, though. Don't buy or recommend them.

They don't reliably stop lead-core 5.56/.223 from a 16"+ barrel, which is pretty much the most common rifle threat in America.
They also won't reliably stop a lot of hunting calibers, like .270 Winchester.
The weight-to-performance ratio with steel plates is just dogshit.

What about the Chinese crap like guard dog? Obviously that isn’t as reliable as Hesco, but would it stop the moron with a Draco?

Damn what a shitty thread, sorry OP.

Get the lightest lvl 4 sapi front back and sides that you can afford. Do some good research on carriers so you're comfy. Jpc 2.0 is a good place to start. Hoplite is good. So are the other brands mentioned.

There's a lot more to what you're trying to do than armor so I hope you aren't in over your head.
