Guys. I need help finding a battery or a battery of similar specifications:
Voltage 3.6 V
Capacity 11 A · h
Weight with electrolyte 1.5 kg
Mass without electrolyte 1.5 kg
Length 105.4 mm
Width 51.5 mm
Height 131 mm
The size parameters are the most important; these batteries are for a specific mining headlamp and must fit within the pack. The headlamp is an SGG5 for those curious. I will follow up with an image. Anyways, I need a set of batteries that will reliably stay on for long durations, and it would be best for the voltage to be 1.2 V . I plan to do some spelunking. On this website you may view the battery: http://mag-akb.ru/catalog_t_kart.php?t_id=91
it is in Russian, s the batteries are made in the Kursk battery plant, and they wont do individual sales on any website I have checked. Pic rel are the batteries. Ni-Cad welded steel exterior, they are very durable. Again, I am looking to see if anyone knows where I could get a battery like this, it doesn't have to be exact.
Any and all help appreciated, thanks.
here is a pic of the headlamp. As you can see; the batteries fit in the waist-side pack.
Noone uses that shit anymore. Modern caps are led with battery built in, lasts all day. Even the old bulbs sucked ass.
>spelunking
your idea using old mining cap tech will only entangle you as you squirm between the rocks.
They make caving lights so slim nowadays. Why not stick with those? Also why a huge nicad vs a lifepo?

Those old NiCd batteries are based. Your best bet would be checking mil surp auctions or dealers as a lot of old USSR comm gear used very similar cells. Could also look for used aircraft batteries as those used individual NiCd cells too.
>buying batteries that are +35years old
Just throw it in the trash.
>not very diy but this stuff is simply useless
Also about that russian battery factory.
They probably still offer it but I doubt that anyone ordered them in the last 20 years.
They might start production again but these batteries are out of style and are not used anymore.
>I am very sure that they dont have an in stock.
That's a typical zoomer response with no understanding of anything before your era of mindless entertainment in the palm of your hand
They are pretty based indeed, can't usually find 11Ah batteries or even steel shell batteries for unprofessional use these days sadly. I'll definitely look for them in milsurp auctions it would be cool to get some in working condition.
>take 3 18650s
>connect them in parallel
>fill space with whatever, maybe another 3 18650s for double capacity
>???
3.6V is like any lithium cell, and 1.2V is like those NiMH rechargeable cells, right? You could easily find smaller cells that would fit into that, like 3 lithium cells and then parallel them instead of series, or a handful of the 1.2V NiMH cells, but not sure you will come very close to that 11Ah unless you can fit larger NiMH cells into there
Got it. I'll try a bunch of the smaller batteries (18650) in parallel. Realistically speaking 11 Ah isn't even necessary.

Just get a cheap LED light and stop being a contrarian
I can't try to fix an inheritance?
sorry dude as someone who has had to try and find obscure shaped batteries, you're on your own.
>Weight with electrolyte 1.5 kg
>Mass without electrolyte 1.5 kg
Well, there's your problem. Weightless electrolyte.
