Might not be great for the landing gear hydraulics and the nose gun.
I wouldn't be super happy about the optics either.

Optics are waterproof aren't they, you know, because it operates in rain.

They'll certainly be water-resistant and decently sealed but I'm not sure aircraft optics will have a depth rating or be proofed against actual submersion.

            Weathertight ≠ Watertight.
The helicopter construction is splash-resistant. But it won't survive being submerged

They're a NATO member so it's an obvious target for a vatnik too.

Bullshit. Nobody gives a fuck about Greece nearly as much you/they think so. It's Greeks (and Greek sympathizers) that are routinely shitting on Turkish MIC and domestic affairs.
It's funny because it's usually completely delusional rhetoric, such as denying things that exist as not existing—be it the TCG Anadolu carrier, or that Turkish gas wasn't actually discovered which is now literally being extracted and supplying homes, or saying Turkish drones don't work or that they're assembled from Western/Chinese parts, or that Turkish MIC will collapse because of CAATSA, or that Turkic MIC is collapsing the economy when actually its a major export-revenue-generator and Turkey ranks in the bottom half in terms of NATO defense budgets). They're wrong each and every time and it only takes a few months or years for it to blow up in their face. Then they move on to the next meme or still keep repeating nonsense.

Oh and forgot to mention them constantly bringing up the earthquakes in eastern Turkey whenever they don't like what they're seeing. It's such a pathetic form of cope, and completely useless because it hasn't and won't stop Turkish MIC or drastically alter foreign-policy by any means.

Aircraft aren't cars you retard. Aircraft are built to bit different standard than cars and are quite a bit more expensive. Repairing aircraft after flooding makes economically more sense than fixing a shitty car. Aircraft are literally built to be broken down almost bare bones and rebuilt as part of the regular life cycle of aircraft, if aircraft is designed for last for 30 or 40 years and thousands of flight hours, those will be go thru major overhauls probably around once a decade and that is effectively rebuilding the damn thing.

That old UH-1H Huey might not be worth fixing, but AH-64 Apaches probably are.

would an apache even care about this?

Corrosion, shorted wiring and so on.

As long as there are spare parts (there are) then it's not a long term issue. My car got caught in a flood and all the electrical systems were ruined due to the water. However, if there were spare parts (car was 30 years old) it could have been fixed.

Other than making the state not have an official religion. That's not true at all. Most Islamic customs and expressions were legal. It's the military junta of the 1980s that started suppressing religious expression.

Yes, everyone's seen the video where everyone's walking calmly inside, where the capitol police points the protestors down the corridors and where there's photos of a guy who was admitted in front a court of law to be a federal agent undercover doing the vandalism himself to goad people to do it. You can't pretend those don't exist because a kangaroo court said otherwise.

Handful or maybe even hundreds of those retards would be waiting for death sentences instead of prison sentences right now. Possibly even every single demonstrator in the Capitol Hill would be looking at long while in prison. Even Trump could be on death row right now if that had happened. No one would be talking about inciting a riot, they would be talking about treason.

The reason why it was left for flood is likely because it wasn't flight worthy at the time and couldn't be made so in short order. The other Apache in hangar is going thru major overhaul, so it was probably waiting for substantial maintenance to make it flight worthy.

Huge part of voters vote for lesser evil, not for candidate they actually support, regardless party or candidate they are voting for. That is natural feature of two party political system. People that live in deep red or deep blue states that support the opposing party often don't even bother to vote because it makes no difference at all. It doesn't matter if they win by 65-35 or 75-25 split. If there is local or state level ballots they care about they might bother to vote.

Because in an autocracy an idiot like you could be the autocrat and fuck us all indefinitely, at least in democracy your powers and terms are limited.
Look at Russia, how has autocracy served the average person compared to former soviet republics that are now democratic?

                >Democracy is just mob rule. Don't go crazy trying to protect it.
                Literal fucking vatnik.
You can lick the boot of a dictator if you like, I prefer being able to fire them without having to shoot up the capital.
                Term limits are also based.

Actually, you can't lick the boot of an dictator, it creates problems for the rest of us when the dictator gets in an expansionist mood, or just generally shits up the world in general which without exception they always do to the limits of their geopolitical power.

Democracy isn't just a good thing, it's a guarantee of peace and security for the world in general. All the big shit stirrers in the world start by subverting or destroying their own democracies before they begin exporting terrorism, corruption, attempt conquest or just drag down their neighbours by aligning with other corrupt, authoritarian states.

                Democracies are no different.
You know why Russia is in the state it's in? People want and vote for Putin and they desire war. The mob has spoken and they want their Czar.
                >Democracy isn't just a good thing, it's a guarantee of peace and security for the world in general.
Bull fucking shit, if this were true then we wouldn't have had wars between democracies, but we have had both Nagorno-Karabakh Wars, the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, the Mexican-American war, the Boer Wars and so on.

Yeah and what about when the populace are retards so they keep voting in people like Erdogan, Putin, or Orban who function like dictators at any rate. Most people literally don't know what's good for them.

This is why Democracy needs to be reinforced as a civic virtue.
All three of those guys corrupted a democratic system over time, Putin's an exception because he was the figurehead chosen to head government when the FSB engineered a false-flag terrorist campaign.
Erdogan and Orban took time to corrupt their countries and stack the institutions in them with amoral loyalists and suppress or subvert independent media.

                No but they tried.
In USA, the institutions held, more or less, and those that fucked around are finding out. That's the difference between USA and Turkey.

You've literally resorted to a "no u", Trump fulfilled campaign promises and somewhat recovered the American economy, put up the border fence and pulled out of TPP which is the least of what people expected, 76 million people voted for him, it's not this illusion of a political niche, it's not a cult of personality, it's not a politically marginal position, At least half of America genuinely likes him and agrees with him and wants him in power. You need to move to another country if you can't deal with political disagreement.

                >At least half
He didn't get the popular vote and he's toxic this time around. He's not going to save Russia for you because he's unelectable this time.

This is kinda indicative of a major problem in the Greek army that nobody talks about which is their low combat readiness. This kind of sloppiness is something I’d expect of India or Pakistan not a supposedly European nation.

the only reason byzantium didnt buttfucked you after your hilarious defeat during the seljuk era was because they thought they were the saviours of the world and went straight to the holy land
you literally won because you were lucky

          >its a turkish bot
          >only they are active here shitting on greece 24/7
Possible but Greece is just an easy target today because they had some flooding and their helos got wet feet.
They're a NATO member so it's an obvious target for a vatnik too.

We honestly don't get very much anti-Greek spam.

yeah thats like saying usa is bad because some f22s got also flooded

          >its a turkish bot
          >only they are active here shitting on greece 24/7

          [...]
Oh and forgot to mention them constantly bringing up the earthquakes in eastern Turkey whenever they don't like what they're seeing. It's such a pathetic form of cope, and completely useless because it hasn't and won't stop Turkish MIC or drastically alter foreign-policy by any means.

NTA but what does this even mean? You're literally living in a fantasy world. And if you want to talk about being lucky, that would be the post-Seljuks and later Ottoman Turks giving Greeks communal and religious autonomy instead of just wiping them out 500 years ago like they should have. The Catholic Iberians wiped out Muslims within a century but the Turks allowed Orthodox Greeks to procreate for 700 years. Greeks haven't produced anything of value in over 2,000 years.
Defeating the Seljuks wouldn't have done anything. The Byzantine Empire was going to be crushed by Catholics from the West and by Muslims from the East one way or another. The Seljuks weren't even the only Muslim Turks in the region, and the Seljuks included Turks, Persians and Kurds. By the time Byzantium fell in 1453, the Holy Roman Empire and even Orthodox Russia was cheering in joy because they were claiming successorship to Rome too.

              > later Ottoman Turks giving Greeks communal and religious autonomy
you tried this in 1459 it didnt end well for you
