Good tactical vest for a forensics analyst

Hey guys. I got a job as a forensics analyst in Brazil and I can have a IIIA ballistic vest. but the ones they give us come in shitty covers and I've been thinking about using the kevlar plates on a better vest.
What brands or models do you guys recommend here? I never researched much into this because I never expected to be able to have such a thing here in this cucked country.
I need something that allows me to carry a lot of stuff in the field when I'm working. (extra gloves, swabs, tools, knife, flashlight, UV flashlight, dust for fingerprints, camera, extra batteries for camera and flashlights, extra magazine for my gun, etc...)
Any help is appreciated

Becareful, OP. Check the GQ, they often talk carriers and have guides to the better options/pricing. Off the top of my head I use a bit of LBT stuff and while expensive if you don't get items on sale(which they have often) the build quality and material is good.

thanks, anon. While I'm at it. what's a good knife to add to my EDC that is small enough to put in a boot or wear around my neck. i prefer full tang with a sheath. also a good army knife like the Kabar for when I'm working outdoors (sometimes have to go into the woods for work)

Lol. Some of my colleagues do. But I don't want to be the one who gets shot by Tyrone when I'm taking pictures of his dead cousin on the street.

OP check GQ, there is a guide. You are being smart by arming and armoring up. Send us some fucked up pics.

nobody here knows what you actually have access to as a brazilian. You might get more help if you list some products/brands you can actually buy, and then people can actually tell you whats good vs whats shit

The vest itself I can import from the US or anywhere in the world. thats not a problem. the only think that is regulated here are the IIIA kevlar plates, which I'm getting for free.

All a matter of budget, man. How much are you willing to spend on something like this?

anything from 50 to 200 dollars. Maybe more if something of really good quality shows up

I'd say the Slickster for your application honestly. You'll want something lightweight that you can potentially conceal if the situation calls for it. Look into the pouches you can get for it and if they'll suffice. If not, then maybe go for the MEPC instead.

Also make sure the plates you've got can fit into those. Check the size.

You could do a better soft armor carrier with a belt or chest rig maybe just whatever normal plate carrier with pouches. Read up on your first second and third line. Maybe that isn’t for you. Whatever works anon.

Just get one of the better quality Chinese ones. You'll be paying a premium on American made products which come with features you won't need. NIR, warranty, etc...

For 50-200 you are going to be using chinesium but maybe you find a good carrier and make a rig out of vines and macaco bones or something it’s Brazil

      >gonna need more than IIIA
OP will be fine if he's in the Southeast/South states (excluding Rio de Janeiro)
If he's in Rio or the Northeast/North states then he needs IV plates and a fucking kevlar helmet, kek!
Those regions are in the middle of a brutal drug war (especially the state of Bahia)

kek. I'm in Santa Catarina. The best state in the country in my opinion. The least Cleitons and "coincidentally", the safest state in the country.
Thanks for the advice, guys. I already bought a bersa thunder 380 for CC and a doublestack 1911 in fuddy five for open carry while on duty. Some vest covers for while I'm on duty and some tools are the last piece of gear that I'll need.

is literally for what you are asking in terms of plates, the vest doesn't matter, just buy a comfortable one. There is a chinese one that people are saying it is good and cheap, you should check it out, just search good chinese carrier on yt. PT92 is the best choice for handgun I guess, and do buy a GOOD multi-tool, it is useful

    >forensics analyst that needs to carry plates
Even an Airsoft vest for you would be plenty since you won't be fighting narconaggers, just looking at their corpses of their rival gangs.
I would say to just look for a JPC clone or similar that is very low profile on aliexpress, then just put your regular clothes or forensics jacket over it to conceal it. The rest tbh you should just be using a duffle bag with organized pockets, an organized foam case or something like that if you need to protect certain items that are sensitive or expensive.

Id get a kevlar vest and throw a civilian fishing vest over it or something.
