I just bought myself one of these bad boys for my first gun. What am I in for? I plan to take my LTC course this weekend with it.

no you didn't. you're just setting up a glock hate thread.
I did, though.
>no timestamp
But in case you actually did:
>he bought
I'm not black.
But you bought a bad gun. Why have you bought a bad gun, OP? WHY?
How is it bad?
/k/ told me it's bad.
they explode and jam
I haven't experienced that yet.
yeah because you just bought it and are seeking validation for your impulse purchase.
That has nothing to do with the gun, supposedly jamming and exploding.
how many rounds have you put through it?
A couple hundred.
It's double jointed.
This is a normal thumb.
There's nothing wrong with my thumbs/fingers.
>hair on the second knuckle
neanderthal OP
Post feet or gtfo
Nice no-gun.
That's not SIG saar
tasteless
You paid for a name and an inferior firearm
LMAOOOO
The fuck is wrong with your lanky ass thumb? Every time someone posts his gun on here he has some disfigured limb or a mutilated penis in the picture. Don’t even get me started on the feet pics. Hideous is an understatement. At this point you might as well be bleqque.
Nigga been grabbing crystals
Probably some control issues judging by the size of your hands compared to the gun, but that's just judging from one picture. I've never enjoyed shooting anything super small in relation to my hands personally. If it feels too short look into an extended baseplate/bumper for the mags, that should help it feel more natural to hold. Looking at the spec sheet it's going to have a fairly long take-up for a 22 trigger but it is striker fired so there's not too much that can be done about that. It's a light little thing, might have a little bit of snap compared to a mk4 or heavier 22 pistol. I've never liked the way glocks feel in my hand but it should "just werk" unless you feed it really shitty ammo like Winchester or Thunderbolt. I think you're going to have a good time with it. Don't squeeze it super hard, it's not going to jump out of your hands and that'll really throw off your POI. Take your time between shots, focus on a smooth trigger pull and maintaining sight picture, and remember to breathe. Welcome to the /k/lub OP, fuck all these homosexuals throwing shade.
>long trigger pull
You can't just click off a trigger yet? Pull doesn't matter unless you suck and are pulling it off target.
In relation to the 1/8" total pull I've got set up on my mk4, 2.75" is a shit ton. And since OP said it's his first gun it's a lot easier to learn bad habits if it's not just fire/reset with almost 0 movement.
I've read and heard in an interview that the G44 is safe to dry fire. Is that true?
>The most revolutionary feature of the G44 that Andrew pointed out is the fact that the G44 can be dry fired with total safety.
>Standard arms chambered for any rimfire cartridge-.22 Short, LR, or any of the .17 rimfires-will suffer damage by repeated "dry-firing" of unloaded guns. Due to the rimfire design, the firing pin can strike the steel chamber if it is dry fired. On centerfire guns, the firing pin "strikes" open air in the center of the chamber when dry fired-causing no damage. Glock has addressed this issue through the use of small cutouts in the chamber face. These cutouts allow the G44 firing pin to strike in an indentation in the chamber wall without making contact with metal. This means the G44 owner will have unlimited opportunity to dry fire practice just as they do with the G19. It's an ingenious innovation.

yes, but so are Rugers and the KekTek .22s
That's good to know. Since the G44 is a clone of the G19, that'll probably be my next gun once I get comfortable with a 22.
Plastic slide?
dafuq?
You "everything is bait/bots/vathiks/trolls/armatard!!1!!11!" people are more tiresome and annoying than the actual bait/troll armatard thread by now.
its called pattern recognition
And yours is faulty
I bought one to just use as a suppressor host its fine. It is as old as the first g44's that came out.
/k/ HATES glocks
>No guns autist
I dunno. you tell us how it went.
You know what caliber I bring when I go on an adventure? .22.
They are fine, mine had weird shit happen with colibri ammo blowing up in my face, but running shit with actual powder is better to prevent that from happening
glocks are trash.
Buy bulk CCI standard velocity ammo and enjoy that gun.
.22 pistols are my favorite.
(Verification not required)
Get a suppressor for that hoe too
(Verification not required x2)
I plan to as soon as I can get through the paperwork, background checks, and saving enough for the bloody thing. I'll be aiming for the Dead Air Mask silencer.
>Dead air
Confirmed retard.
Okay, and? A few sources listed the Dead Mask as a good silencer. What's your recommendation for a silencer?
You could say anything and someone would say you’re a confirmed retard.
Have you looked into making your own and filling the paperwork for that? It’ll be approved much faster (most likely).
I wouldve gotten a Beretta 92 22LR. 15+1 and not all(ish) plastic. you even have the choice of getting one with a metal frame. However, you can get promags with 18 rounds but promag
