      never. G*rms are rabidly anti-nuclear

does their anti nook energy change somewhat after vatBlack folk cut their gas supplies ?
Either way, even if Germs start researching on naval nuclear propulsion, how long it would (realistically) take for them to build their own ssn ?

        No since:
        1) there's a strong opposition against nuclear power.
That is for mostly emotional reasons, but partially also because we figured that radioactive trash in a densely populated country is a problem, and we don't have the balls to export said radioactive trash to some shithole desert country. Even if we did, one or the other left leaning government would do their best to undo any such things for 10x the price, apologize for years and give even more money to whoever accepted the trash in the first place. That being it's not worth it - for us. We can still buy totally clean french nuclear power lmao. (And we'll find a way to be sorry about that as well.)
        2) there's a strong opposition against nuclear weapons.
That is mostly based on a very simple observation: If nuclear war starts we will be the ones to get nuked. The more nukes are in Germany the more nukes will fall on German ground. It's something that was not taught in German history class but either side of the iron curtain had plans in place to nuke population centers on the other side in case the enemy advances to a certain point. A lot of people assume that *not* having nukes around raises our chances of survival in a large conflict. Of course it's anyones guess if that line of logic is reasonable. Many people also feel protected by murrican nukes. All in all american nukes in Germany have a high acceptance, but we don't want some ourselves. We'd just find a way to make it too complicated.

bury it in well sealed containers?

yeah that seems to be what this is really about

            That's what they actually did.
Turned out though that these containers weren't THAT well-sealed.

          >If nuclear war starts we will be the ones to get nuked
you will be getting anyway, out of pure spite and jealousy. This "if i dont own nook nobody nook us" is almost child like innocence. Reminds me how scandis were all smug about their nook free hippism policies and how they would be never targeted in cold war. To which they were told about the soviet bomber Tu-22 pilot designated for their are of operation. In case of war their orders in the base staff safe were to unload their nuclear payloads on Copenhagen.

We don't need to research, we have every technology available, it's only degenerate anti-german globohomosexual degenerates in power since who sabotage everything that is positive in any way for germany.

The german navy has no need for nuclear subs. Unlike the americans who like to cruise around the world germans usually stay inside the north and baltic sea.

Second best SSK's after Japan, but SSK's are still vastly inferior to nuclear boats.

      >SSK's are still vastly inferior to nuclear boats
It depends on the mission profile, SSKs tend to be more quiet and do better in brown water operations. SSNs have the benefit of having more endurance, speed and range, making them more suitable for blue water operations.

    >How good are modern U-Boats?
Let's say if you wanted to recreate Capa Flow in any random harbor with any random navy, nobody could stop you.

    >When will Germany get their own nuclear subs?
Never, why would they? Nuke subs are for cruising the wide seas and as long as they don't want to wage a world wide sea war again there's no point here.

You mutts do know that Germany do have a North Sea coastline, that lead directly into the North Atlantic, which is more than enough for 60000t-70000t warships - pic related, let alone ssn/ssbn, right ?
Are amerimutt usually this moronic or just on PrepHole ?

Which is pretty much entirely NATO controlled. Who are we supposed to hunt there, Norwegians and Bongs like old times?

No idea, then why waste the cash on 212cd, that thing still too big for baltic, you don’t need a 2000t aip boat for baltic operations. And don’t get me start on that aegis “frigate” you’re planning for 2030s

            Anonymous

Why would the 212 be "too big for baltic"?
It's even specifically small enough (like all german subs) to be able to pass the Kadetrenden fully submerged.

212cd is a whole different design, moron. Or are you trying to say abrams and sheridan are essentially the same thing cause they both have tracks and a gun ?
And if you really wanna stick to the Baltic, 212a is more than enough

    >When will Germany get their own nuclear subs
Nuclear subs would most likely fall under the section of not allowed as per the 4+2 treaty. Technically it's not a nuclear weapon but it's a weapon powered by nuclear power.

You know, I don't hate the germs but I'm uneasy about them having submarines. It just feels wrong, like giving a gun to a guy who has a habit of murdering people for looking at him funny.

Germany is famous for using their U-Boats to terrorize other Europeans. It's kind of what they are intended for.

As opposed to using their surface fleet for the same purpose?

Not the guy you are replying to, but yes. Compared to the sub fleet the surface navy didn't do all that much during either WW.

I wasn't referring to the German surface fleet.

In WW1 the german navy had to use subs to sink british ships because the surface navy was totally inferior to the british one. They started out halting civilian ships and demanding them surrender or dump their cargo and scutlle their ship (if they had lifeboats) but the british exploited this by camouflaging military ships as civilian ones.
The british navy on the other hand just stopped all shipping to germany, resulting in a famine (that probably caused more dead than the submarine campaign).
You tell me where the difference is. I don't see much of it.
