I really, really hate how they abandoned the aesthetic as frick original stock and said eh frick it just put an AR buffer tube on there. It looks horrible.

    >but it wasn't very strong!
So beef it up, do literally anything other than putting more AR dogshit on guns that aren't ARs.

Not bad, not bad. I still prefer the original but at least they're finally unfricking it. I was bugging them about it for years and they just kept saying lolno

Yeah I kind of like this new Gen 3, it's not quite as aesthetic as the original, but they've done some slimming elsewhere too, makes it seem more practical as a semi-auto. I want one in .45 acp as there just aren't that many .45 acp PCCs ... the new Ruger LC Carbine in .45 is also quite appealing to me.

Why did they get rid of the bottom rail? I also noticed the new US Army rifle doesn't have a bottom rail too

I don't know, but to compensate for it, there are side mlocks and it comes with two attachment mlock to p-rail in the box.

I'm hoping gen 3 uppers/lowers will work on gen 2 models. It doesn't look like the geometry along those lines connecting them really changed, but it would be nice to hear a confirmation.

This 2bh. AR15 culture is basically the normie car culture, like modern BMW and Mercedes design language. Just pure cringe bland lowest common denominator moron tier shit slapped together and marketed as upper echelon.

KRISS Vector was a cool gun but everyone gets upset if they can't swap 80% of their AR parts onto all their other guns. Owning a proprietary gun is upsetting to normies for some unknown reason.

why haven't they made one in a rifle caliber?
the recoil system is behind the magazine, shouldn't interfere with it.

      Anonymous

Because it's straight blowback, dingus. The recoil system couldn't handle an intermediate round without the bolt weighing about 6lbs.

so make the bolt 6 lbs

It's a good gun but the white version looks cringe, like you're LARPing as a stormtrooper.
    The black one looks fine.

but the guns the stormtroopers used were all black. more accurate to say that the white one itself is larping as a stormtrooper

      Nice guns, decent rug.
I like the aesthetic of the Mahi Tabriz but that one looks to be a Sino-Persian. Good copies but otherwise uninspired. Go get yourself a nice Manchester Kashan. The AUG in white is such a winner.

If you start with a pistol, put a stock on it, figure out how to minimize recoil in a new action to maximize full auto control, and suppress it, then put a forward grip or way to hold it up front, you arrive at basicly this thing. With almost the same dimensions or a hair more compact without adding the recoil reducing action.
So I have warmed up to it.
Still excessive dimensions without full auto though.

      Anonymous

The whole design is based around getting controllable full auto, it's pointless in semi

        Anonymous

The full auto meme that gets parroted every time it comes up isn't even real to begin with. It's still straight blowback with no delay mechanism, just because it schloops downward doesn't lessen recoil at all. At absolute best it stops your dot from jittering around quite so much, but any modern roller delayed inline subgun beats the piss out of it in every regard.

They basically said "what if we took a muzzle comp but did it moronic and via an overly complex internal mechanism instead?"

          Anonymous

its not meant to reduce recoil its meant to reduce muzzle rise

Yes, which it's resoundingly mediocre at.

It redirects energy sideways, of course it reduces felt recoil.

          >At absolute best it stops your dot from jittering around quite so much
I don't understand how shaking the whole gun up and down is supposed to do that, either.

        Anonymous

        Agreed.

Makes no sense without full auto while weighing 3x what a handgun does.
The 100lb small woman that would benefit from the recoil reduction will still find it heavy to shoulder.

          Anonymous

And if you really want a semi auto sub gun then there isn't much reason to stray from the MP5 family and its many derivatives. Sub guns were perfected 60 years ago.

At first i too thought it was cool, until I acually fired one at a range once. The way I held it my hand would touch the bolt hold open a bunch so it would fire and then the bolt would lock back.

Its for shooting tight lefts on PCC stages from the right hand+shoulder. I too thought double dot was weird until I tried it. Lean to make the shot, then roll the gun to the canted dot and you'll clear a barricade without having to swap hands or shoulders.
