Will we see a crash program to swap T-80UD too a V2 engine?

T-80UDs had their turrets taken off and put on T-80B hulls, were fitted with French thermals and redesignated as T-80UE-1.
Mostly sold for export, but Russia retained a few.

They full on rejected the US/UK assessment of an invasion being imminent in February.
Then they made incorrect assessments that Russia would be able to seize Kyiv in late March.
Not once has France’s intelligence assessments reflected the reality of the situation, and hence Macron has been the biggest retard in Europe because his intelligence info is so fucking shit.

They obviously knew it was going to happen, they just couldn't sound the alarm without causing mass public panic.

Given the geopolitical shitshow going on at the time they were basically forced to wait for the actual invasion to start. You had gouls like Lavrov saying the invasion was Western hysteria 24 hours before it happened with useful idiots calling the US a warmonger.

Russia didn’t pull anything on the French. They were just better partners for crooked African leaders. France was controlling the competition gangs, which was fine and all, but the big crooks would rather stuff their offshore accounts with mineral cash and that’s something Russian PMCs can help with.

I don't think you fully understand how intel works. Information is obtained, and then an analysis is made. The intel-obtaining side did its job in France, they saw exactly what the US or UK saw, as they have their own capable satellites. They looked at it, and analyzed it. In the end, it was the Chief of Intelligence who had to make the final call, and said that he didn't believe Russia would be stupid enough to invade. He was wrong and got fired.

Meanwhile, no one, not even the US intelligence thought Ukraine would actually be able to survive the invasion, or fight as hard as it did.

Probably just the lower-end tanks like the T-55 and T-62. T-64 will be mobile defense duty/guard tank and T-72 and T-80 will be serving an assault role.

chinks could provide russia with just about anything they need, except:
            - they're fairly tepid on russia and are only "friendly" due to US pressing on both (they'd hate each other without US)
            - chinks are shidding their pants at a roughly 4/10 intensity because the toothless west/nafo/whatever didn't fall over and instead is providing ukraine with weapons in the open
            - chinks are also shidding their pants because the west did more economically (sanctions etc) than chinks expected, although it took them a while (krauts and frogs had to be dragged by the balls to commit)
            - it became obvious that soviet and based-on-soviet-design gear is fucking garbage, and most of china's gear originates from those designs + whatever they could steal from the west

In short don't expect anything but smallish scale covert support like shells and radios rather than tanks or decent quality missiles/drones

Where are the T-10s and T-44s?

T-44's are literal super museum pieces too precious to have been even revealed during the Cold War and they probably don't exist as complete T-44s anymore.
      >Due to the Cold War, the USSR decided to keep the tank secret.[7][14] It was never shown publicly during military parades[14] and pictures were never shown publicly until the secrecy was dropped. There is almost no photographic evidence of T-44s stationed in East Germany[14] or while being used briefly in Poland and Romania for training respective tank crews in 1952[21] nor during the Soviet invasion of Hungary in 1956,

      >In 1961, a number of T-44As were modernized with parts from the T-54 main battle tank and other upgrades and received the designation T-44M. In 1963, some T-44Ms were converted into T-44MK command tanks. In 1965 some T-44Ms were converted into BTS-4A armoured recovery vehicles.[13] In 1966, a number of T-44As and T-44Ms received the "Cyclone" gun stabilizer and the designations T-44S and T-44MS, respectively.[13] According to most sources T-44S, T-44M and T-44MS tanks remained in service with the Soviet Army until the end of the 1970s, when their usefulness as tanks had ended. It is possible that they remained in storage until the beginning of the 1990s.[20] Many T-44Ms were converted into artillery tractors, tank tractors and engineer tanks. A number of T-44A, T-44S, T-44M, T-44MK and T-44MS tanks were converted into fixed defensive positions; some of which are known to have been positioned on the border with the People's Republic of China.[14] Unlike most Soviet-made weapons, the T-44 wasn't exported.[7][9]

        Anonymous

This always cracks me up when i think of the T-44
        >the crews of the T-44A suffered from frostbite because of the complete lack of a heating system. The driver was supposed to be protected from rain and snow by a removable Tarpaulin cover with a small glass window. However, this was not successful and its use was deemed impractical.[10]

PrepHole called Russia as having roughly 2200 tanks all types in the majority mostly obsolete models in poor condition at least 2/3rd with at least one major defect up to and including not being able to move under their own power or having no working main gun
Russia also has 3000 artillery pieces left and 4500 APCs about 350 MLRS and about 250 AA along with roughly 400 engineering /command/special vehicles. They can go until about February before they return to the late 19th century/WW1. They also have serious shortages of trucks, tires, fuel, busses, 4x4s and engineering vehicles as well as parts for all models of everything.
