The whole point of pull-pups is that it increases the length of the barrel, without increasing the overall length of the gun. The light front end of the rifle could, in a room clearing situation, literally save your life.
Carrier handle on steroids, would be useful in CQB though

We used to have a guy on PrepHole who was an Aussie in the legion, that went by legionfag. He dumped a shit ton of great photos of Mali. I haven't seen him post under his trip in a long time though, maybe he still lurks, but I have no idea.
I tried in 2017, arrived at the last point of selection on but wasn't selected
I wasn't given reason but got told that I could try again in 1 year but I never went back, in fact might try again this year
It is pretty comfy for real. It is just not for Americans. Americans are almost never accepted and on the rare ocasionous they are, they are groped in drills and nicknamed female names. Most desert in the first year.
We frenchs respect the FFL a lot, probably one of the most honorable unit of the army. However, as a army unit, the Legion is mostly an infantry unit with an heavy physical condition. They usually got complicated or tiring tasks, that require good mental and physical determination to be done.
This is also why they are essential to the rest of the french army infantries units, despite some being better (Special Forces & Marines Troups). The way they work is quite different, and good.
God that's a stupid looking gun

Why do they have wrenches attached to the gun?
It's a bi-pod.
I'm an atheist but I like Mormons. Is Deseret going to have a foreign legion?
Foreign legion is like KGB, you never get out

From what I've read, recruits tend to band together based on language. If a Yank got in alongside some Bongs and Aussies, he'd be alright I reckon.
Not true.
How is it really?
