We need to stop making Reaper drones, and start making Raper drones. Far more psychologically terrifying.

US used billions of dollars in R&D for Raper drone, honed different software to achieve not only independent ability for it to rape without operator input incase of communication interference but also different types of rape from skullfrick, sodomy to veganal intercourse, and used extra functionality for state of the art hydraulic system for the rape to be forceful enough even if it raised the maintenance costs. The end result was the best and most complicated Raper drone in history.

Russians used a bottle of cheap vodka and a mobik.

    > BREAKING: This morning, a Russian Su-27 aircraft struck the propeller of a U.S. MQ-9 drone, causing U.S. forces to have to bring the MQ-9 down in international waters, according to @US_EUCOM.

    > "Several times before the collision, the Su-27s dumped
fuel on and flew in front of the MQ-9 in a reckless, environmentally unsound and unprofessional manner. This incident demonstrates a lack of competence
in addition to being unsafe and unprofessional."

    > This "follows a pattern of dangerous actions by Russian pilots while interacting w/ U.S. & Allied aircraft over international airspace, including over the Black Sea. These aggressive actions by Russian aircrew are dangerous & could lead to miscalculation & unintended escalation."

The Reaper costs about $32 million while a SU-27 is closer to $30 million, the big difference is that the Mutts can replace that drone a lot more easily than the vatniks can replace that plane

Su-27s are already on the way out of RuAF inventory. They are pretty thoroughly obsolete and only have like 100, this would be the equivalent of using shit like a F-16A as a target drone.

A no fly zone has been a common sense need at the policy level since day 1. It could be implemented without being a party to the conflict. His Russia responds to legitimate enforcement activities is up to them.

        >Navalny is on the verge of coming to power

Putin would sooner initiate a full-scale nuclear exchange with NATO than give up his power and the only people in a position to stop him would rather plunge Russia into a Second civil war than give up their power.

I'd hate to say this, but A LOT of people are going to have to die before Russia is ready for Navalny and democracy.

they could certainly attempt it but there are two major problems with the idea. the first being russian air defense, and second that attempting to enforce a no-fly zone is an act of war. colliding with a reaper over international waters gives at least the plausible deniability of saying "it was an accident :3" that shooting it down wouldn't, so they are not really comparable

The federal government isn’t funded with property tax. It’s funded with bonds and corporate taxes. It’ll make BillyBob’s house worth $10 more because it actually makes BillyBob’s money worth a fraction of a percent less.

nato members send military equipment en masse to ukraine to be used against russian forces, including tanks, himars and aerial reconnaissance. do you honestly believe that these were only operated by ethnic ukranian soldiers. who were all of a sudden capable of operating them effectively? do you believe that nato members did not supply personnel, intel and at least partial access to military assets like satellites to the ukrainians along with "cold war leftovers"? i don't buy it. vatnigs knew this, which is why they always talk about mercenaries and similar nonsense - to avoid acknowledging overtly that they and nato are already fighting, with all the military and political consequences. now they copied this by "accidentally" downing a reaper drone, and the us can't openly say "ivan shot down our drone" because then they'd have to formally aknowledge hostilities with the russians with all that entails.

Navalny is on the verge of coming to power amid a resurgence of pro democracy activism in Russia after shocking revelations about the rift between Wagner and the MOD. These stories surfaced through multiple confirmed channels just in the nick of time to stem the spread of malign influence in the information space.

    Does Article 5 cover drones?

      Anonymous

Yes? Of course it does. But Article 5 isn't a 'you immediately attack move your entire force to the attackers' capital'. Military action is literally the 'up to' part of the treaty. Article 5 and NATO is about maintaining security in the North Atlantic Area (which hilariously means China could attack Pacific side USA and it couldn't get NATO involved technically). That can mean more sanctions, moving AA to borders, boosting troop numbers or thoughts and prayers.

So while the USA could go 'Yeah that's it, Article 5, we're going fully in boys' it wouldn't fly.

        >on the forces, vessels, or aircraft of any of the Parties, when in or over these territories or any other area in Europe in which occupation forces of any of the Parties were stationed on the date when the Treaty entered into force or the Mediterranean Sea or the North Atlantic area north of the Tropic of Cancer.

With this most recent achievement, fate has in a single stroke, marked the decline of the east and spelled a new era of wondrous prosperity and peaceful global dominance for the American eagle, which promises to firmly stand in sharp contrast to the historically bloody ascent of eastern powers and the cruel subjugation it brought to the humbler nations of the world. With the blessings of American quantum direct-current electricity, quantum aircraft carriers and quantum enhanced railguns will be the instruments with which America affirms its noble stewardship of 21st century world politics and offers the non-eastern world a different option; an humanist alternative to the depredations of Eastern leadership and the opportunity for a more equitable and dignified multilateralism.

So let me get this straight: American weapons are killing Russian soldiers, armour and planes by the dozen for over a year now, and the best way to retaliate that the Russians could come up is by ramming down a drone (ramming as opposed to shooting so that they can always claim that is was an ‘accident’ and not deliberate {please don’t slap}). By the way, the funny thing is that Ukraine was not given this UAV because of secret technologies, but now they themselves “gave” the same technologies to the Russians.

They were afraid that the Ukrainians would lose this drone and, as a result, they themselves lost it, as they themselves say in the “collision”, that is, in the most stupid situation, and now, the Russians, which very actively wants to join the production of UAVs, will get it from the sea

the reason people are surprised is because the Reaper is 22 year tech, which in itself is built off of the MQ-1, which is 30 years old, old enough to have been used against the Serbs.

so why go after the MQ-9 as opposed to the actual ISR platform, RQ-4.

Brainlet question here: I think there's about nine countries total who have unambiguously recognized Crimea's annexation to the RF. So if a NATO country flies over the airspace of the Crimean peninsula and gets attacked by anything Russian, how does international law deal with that? Can the country flying over state that they cleared the flight with the Ukranian government as the legitimate owner of that airspace in the ICCJ or something?

If the UN doesn't recognize Crimea as Russian, they're not going to punish someone flying over what they consider to be Ukraine without Russian permission.

So let me get this straight: American weapons are killing Russian soldiers, armour and planes by the dozen for over a year now, and the best way to retaliate that the Russians could come up with is by ramming down a drone (ramming as opposed to shooting so that they can always claim that is was an ‘accident’ and not deliberate {please don’t slap}). And this is a propaganda victory how?

Is this why vatBlack folk are going made today?

"Italian Defence Minister Guido Crosetto on Monday accused the Russian paramilitary group Wagner of promoting illegal migration to Europe to punish European countries supporting Ukraine.

“The exponential increase in the migration phenomenon from African shores is also, to a significant extent, part of a clear strategy of hybrid warfare that the Wagner group (…) is implementing using its significant weight in several African countries,” the minister said in a statement.

“Just as the EU, NATO and the West have realised that cyber attacks are part of the global confrontation that the war in Ukraine has opened up, they should now understand that the front in southern Europe is becoming more dangerous every day,” he continued.

“Uncontrolled and continuous immigration (…) is becoming a means to hit the most exposed countries, first and foremost Italy, and their geostrategic choices,” he warned."

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said on Monday, on the sidelines of a trip to Israel, that he was concerned “because many migrants are coming from areas controlled by the Wagner group.”
