No, you can tell by the way the Bren breaks and CZ has had to revise it so many times. Also .308 version in the US never. Another telling sign is that nobody of note uses it.

I always hear people shit on the Scar 16s. I've always been told if you have the option get a Scar 17 or Scar 20
The 16s doesn't offer anything every other PMAG despiser will, whereas the 17/20 don't really have much competition for their weight/performance.
