Thats what people will pay, demand drives price. If everybody boycotted SCARs, then the price would gradually go back down to ~2500 or less, but nobody is going to do that so pay up Black person.

Its the ranging sight for the GL. He lazes the target and then the red dot next to it adjusts reticle height so the grenade will land at the right distance.

Amazing, isn't it? The kind of thing that would financially ruin your third world country is something we do as a passing fancy. Must suck to not be American.

Look dude, I'm not a chest thumping fan of the MIC but every time you think about talking shit about the US, I want you to remember that your likely irrelevant country has one of two choices when it comes to our arms and industry.
                1. Buy it, you lil b***h, for tons of $$$
                2. Get turned into wet mulch by it, along with half your "country"

No amount of seething on the internet will rid you of your utter helplessness towards actually powerful countries. I get it man I'd be butthurt too. Go sit on the balcony of your tiny apartment and eat an overpriced pastry about it.

The same way any other company overcharges: dumb homosexual morons are willing to buy it.
Take a modern Jeep, for example. It's a simple vehicle that has had a long history. It should be relatively cheap, but it isn't. Thats because people buy it for the "cool factor". This added demand allows them to overcharge for it.

I wouldn't buy any vehicle made after they started putting those things in them that allows them to hack your vehicle and drive you head first into stuff.

No, but morons and women do. That's why it costs $40k for shit on wheels.

Poor countries in Africa and Latin America have them.
FN only charges 2-3 times what they’re worth to stupid goyim.

That's not true, they charge the same price for everyone. São Paulo's military police in Brazil paid a fortune for them.

    >mfw waffleBlack folk charged SOCOM $695 per SCAR rifle in 2004.

The SCAR is a great rifle. It is light, accurate, and very reliable. But the main advantages of the design is that it is incredibly cheap to manufacture in gigantic quantities. If FN unfricked their manufacturing and charges under $1000 it would have become the most popular rifle in Burgerland and the wafflegays would have made a pile of money.

isn't the SCAR running out of steam since guns like CZ Brens are better in almost every way and half the price?

I would like the Bren more if I didn't feel like I would break it in half like a twig.

No, you can tell by the way the Bren breaks and CZ has had to revise it so many times. Also .308 version in the US never. Another telling sign is that nobody of note uses it.

    >used by x gucci operators
    >only create a few for civilian use due to laws
    >jack up costs
If civilians could buy direct from military stocks the costs of rifles would go into free fall. I'm talking $150 AKM's $650 M4/M16's, $1000 SCAR's. The military commands priority from manufacturing and benefits from economy of scale while civilian shooters suffer under regulation, taxes, and simple supply and demand.

Scar 16s owner here, yes it’s cool, barrel has a cool Belgian proof stamp, just as accurate as an HK Mr556. They are released seasonally so you need to buy them at the right time to get the best deal

I always hear people shit on the Scar 16s. I've always been told if you have the option get a Scar 17 or Scar 20

The 16s doesn't offer anything every other PMAG despiser will, whereas the 17/20 don't really have much competition for their weight/performance.
