there's no problem with the glock. instead it lies between certain people's ears, and those people can simply carry condition 3.

Doesn't seem like a great idea to require you to fiddle with the trigger in order to disengage the safety. It seems like an even less great idea to require you to fiddle with the trigger in order to *engage* the trigger.
I think inserting a gun with no sear/trigger lockout into a holster that's inside your pants is an unnecessary risk in general. If you're re-holstering into a concealable holster you should be able to do so with all the time in the world.

why would you ever have to unholster/reholster a loaded gun into a holster you're actively wearing, except in an immediate self-defence situation?
if you're not about to shoot something, there is zero reason to take it out. simple as.
when I'm done carrying, I don't take the gun out, I take the holster off. when I need to carry again I just slide the holster right back onto my belt.

You could always just take the holster out of your pants, insert the gun, then re-attach your holster

Yeah. If I were to anything I'd get one of those back plate plunger deals. There's really only even a safety issue with Glock triggers when holstering, and those at least make sense to solve that.
It appears to be a cross bolt safety that's installed on the trigger. Seems like it'd be easier to just buy a striker fired pistol with a manual safety.
Fucking what? You have to stick your finger on the trigger to disengage a safety? This is the dumbest fucking concept and will either cause negligent discharges or be so finicky that it wont be viable to activate in a necessary scenario.
Good, this will be a self correcting problem for anyone dumb enough to use it.
That's retarded. A crossbolt safety through the trigger itself, what could possibly go wrong? It's unlike any other safety type and therefore you have to train an entirely new thing. Good luck hitting the right spot when you're trying to shoot someone, it's not natural like a thumb safety is.
What's fucking retarded is there's no aftermarket Glock frames with safeties/cutouts. There's the Cominoli safety which leaves an open gap in the frame and isn't ambidextrous, so kind of a ghetto option. Yours is a retarded option though. Just get an M&P or FNS, the safety should be integrated into the design not an afterthought.
I understand the desire for a safety but that design is unintuitive and downright bad.
I like the idea of having a safer gun while reholstering and there is a solution for glocks, it's called the SCD.
The absolute cope people will put up with instead of DA/SA, SAO, or just slowing down AND LOOKING AT THEIR HOLSTER when reholsteting.
And I know someone above this post has said "just take tge holster out ob your pants after every drill or string of fire, bro". These people don"t shoot, or they'd know why that's clown shoes. Shame on them, shame on their family, shame on their cow.
what problem?
there is no problem
>t.
What were the details to this? What caused the discharge? What kind of holster?
Consensus was his undershirt probably got between the trigger and the holster (g-code incog), resulting in the discharge when he bent down.
IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOUUUUUUU
I'd love to know if the trigger was modified but that could certainly happen regardless. Complacency kills.

P320
It was a g43.

I carry a revolver instead
Reddit fingers FUCK OFF
I'd literally never seen one of these before.
Interestingly, the patent just expired four months ago.

make that
>in order to *engage* the safety.
sigh. shouldn't have had that 3rd beer....
>only 3
step it the fuck up anon

What the fuck is it supposed to be, a cock ring for glock owners?

Is that a fucking cross safety on the trigger itself?

How is that going to fix it from being a piece of shit, hunk of plastic?
>noooo you can't use fiberglass reinforced polymer for a handgun frame because.... y-you just can't, okay??!!!!

holstering a hot gun into a iwb holster will never not be spooky, even if you're looking at it.
Now buy down risk to acceptable levels by bring deliberate and consistent on reholsteting. Or learn to shoot DA/SA if that's still too risky.
Removing and inserting a holster for every drill is like untying and retying your shoes after every weight set.
