he really needs to stick to weapons that he has an example of. Listening to him moan about 40k bolters not having the correct ejector slide gets a little tedious
I think he's at his best in the royal armories channel. Would be nicer if they let him elaborate more on each gun after comparing the real life version to the vidya one.
He didn't fall for the trap of expecting ridiculous levels of realism. He knows some things are done for gameplay reasons, which I appreciate.
Sort of like how most of the martial artists understand the difference between stuff done for films for the sake of entertainment versus real combat.
Only the HEMA gays seem to lose their shit about a 5 degree limper wrist than dictated by a manual side column drawn by a monk in the 15th century.
Which is why hes the only "X reacts" worth a damn. Nice change to hear an expert say "this isnt realistic but it's cool as fuck and I love it."
Lol hes single handedly carrying the whole gamestop
It's amazing that gamespot even exists 15+ years after Kane & Lynch.
it's almost like they didn't rely on jeff gerstmann or something
not a fan. Ian from forgotten weapons did the concept so much better. shame he only did three vids.
He kinda seemed uncomfortable in his video game videos. Like he was only doing it to test out the idea of trying something new and didn't like it, which is probably why Ian only did it a few times.
I think he had fun. he's just a busy man, it was a one-off thing (most likely all vids were shot in one sitting) for exposure. probably got paid too.
Hell no. Ian doesn't play games, Johnathan does.
The problem is Gamestop's editing.

Why are his shoulders so narrow?
Firearms expert reacts to me shooting him
I STAY NOIDED
>guy has vast knowledge of ballistic weaponry
>give him science fiction energy weapons to check out
was this infuriating only to me?
Even energy weapons' projectiles would have to obey the laws of physics, including ballistics.
he has extensive knowledge of how weapons are used in warfare, regardless of the type of weapon, so his insight is still very relevant for laser guns.
