Firdt time gun owner here, just bought this because it looked cool to me. What am I in for? I plan to use it for concealed carry after my permit gets approved. Is it a good gun?

You'll be in for a fine shooting experience. If you can conceal carry it that's fine but idk how you'll conceal carry it. Either way it's a fine handgun and you can depend on it.

Why? I conceal carry the sd9ve no problem.

concealed carrying a full sized gun is very easy appendix
it simply does not matter at all if you print a little because 99% of people and 100% of criminals are too stupid and oblivious to notice at all, let alone to recognize the printing is a firearm

Great gun but get a shield plus if you want to conceal carry. Unless you still wear oversized JNCO jeans like it's the 90s

I wear jeans year-round, so I'm fine. General consensus is that it's a good gun too, so that's great news. If it wasn't such a handsome piece I wouldn't have bought it no matter what.

Why do morons like you post these worthless threads? Go watch a ducking video. It’s one of the most popular guns on the market. There’s a video by what ever YouTube fag you like most. Of course if you’re just using to KYS then yes OP it is perfect.

Yea my dad has one, I like it, basically the Smith and Wesson Glock 19. I don't care for the hinge trigger but it's no big deal and has a clean break. Basically a perfect first handgun.

It's perfectly fine. Get a rigid holster that the gun clips into and covers the trigger. Basically the idea with these kinds of striker fired pistols is to have it ready to fire when drawn, with the holster itself acting as the safety by enclosing and protecting the trigger from anything that could possibly act on it.
The trigger does have built in passive features to prevent accidents, but they aren't foolproof. Carry that gun with a round chambered in your pocket and if you trip and fall wrong there's a non zero chance of it blowing your dick off. In a soft holster the odds are incredibly small, but still possible. In a hard plastic holster pretty much zero.

Make sure the grip doesn't rub against your skin while you're carrying it
