What's this about /k/?
FedEx wants a copy of your drivers license if you work at a shop with an FFL, or if you ship privately? Am I reading this right?
Shouldn't we have access to all their driver's IDs in turn?

They scan your ID when delivering packages for adult signature packages.
I've never been asked for ID, and certainly would never let it be scanned. I get shipments all the time. They just ask "whats your last name"?
Well considering they just enacted this, and I had my ID scanned for an AR upper, I don't what to tell you other than make sure you got your wallet on ya when you answer the door.
For a fricking upper? Seriously?
Not a piece with a serial on it like an fail upper or a scar upper, but an ar upper?
>I've never been asked for ID, and certainly would never let it be scanned.
what a homosexual you are lol. don't ship or receive thru FedEx then
do you walk around town with your dick hanging out too?
yes.
I check theirs and UPS's ID daily at work
a person checking to verify is one thing, scanning and requiring a copy on permanent file is quite another.
i thought UPS just said we cant ship gun stuff anymore without being an ffl
I just have everything shipped to my FFL anyway. I buy a lot of shit and don't want to raise any eyebrows. A bunch of gun parts going to a gun shop just looks like business as usual.
I was a Fedex express employee for a few years. Covid was the best thing to happen because I just write CVD or C19 instead of getting a customer to give me a signature. Of course I made sure there was a person to accept the package but it was fricking great being able to forgo that BS. I don't know a single person who would Scan I.D. our scanners didn't have the capability to do anything other than contact dispatch, scan package, pre-post trip inspection and clock in/out. We were trained on Adult Signature Required to verify the age but literally everyone can tell by looking at someone and business related deliveries require a signature.
Ah so that's why they didn't have me sign for my package even when I requested it, 10/10 business practice
All they do is scan the back of your ID like some Gas Stations do to verify you are 18/21.
> order ammo online
> ship to LGS with UPS
> signature required
> gun store closed that week, owner on vacation
> worry package might be sent back if not received
> package delivered
> signed for by Gavin
> who the frick is Gavin
> clearly not the name on the package
> go to LGS today
> ammo box sitting on counter waiting for me
> owner's dad stopped by to check on the place and happened to be there while package was being delivered
> wasn't even inside, just standing outside smoking a cigarette before leaving
> UPS guy didn't even ask for a signature, just a name
TL;DR: use a looser shipping company, ship to a better FFL
>Imagine living in a cuck state where you have to have ammo shipped to an FFL and pass a background check to pick it up.
The feds are putting pressure on shipping companies to either stop shipping firearms and firearm parts, or collect ID for shipment/delivery. UPS is the most obvious example, and they just released their new terms today:

I laughed when everyone said they'd just start using FedEx for gun stuff. USPS and DHL will announce new restrictions on shipping firearms/components before too long, no doubt. The Biden admin is completely lawless.
