My bad, got is messed up with some other EU country talking about sending shit.
Questions stands: how many 155 howitzers does Estonia have?

Literally a weapons board. Can you answer my weapons question? If not, you can frick off, not me
>how many 155 howitzers does Estonia have?
24 FH-70 towed 155mm being given to Ukraine
36 K9 SPG ordered from Korea, 18 of which have already arrived to Estonia
>Likely that such a small nation does not employ multiple calibers of SPGs.
Yeah, we do have actual korean K9 spg-s in service.
Literally heaviest armored vehicle we have.
Basically trend seem to be ditching towed arty in favor of mobile arty.
Germany doesn't even possess any towed artillery
its all just the Pzh2000k and MARS 2
personally I think its a good choice to move to an SPG and Missile artillery only Army but it would be nice if we had more than 100 of them

What was even the justification of the feint narrative? I don't mean "it's cope" I mean what would the point of this supposed feint, like what in this convoluted narrative was it supposed to achieve?
Yes you and I both know it's copium (before they had to dip into the tzar's personal reserve to have anything to huff). But in the made up narrative, what was the point of the feint?
Feint narrative was mostly when the copers though Russia would do some breakthrough from south by moving northen troops there.
It didn't happen, so now they mostly pretend that northen offensive did not ever exist.
Non meme answer is to tie down the Ukrainian troops in the Kiev metro and west of Kiev while mechanized formations enveloped and annihilated the ~60000 Ukrainian troops in the east of the country.
Not a horrible strategy if your military isn't corrupt and inept tbh
>What was even the justification of the feint narrative? I don't mean "it's cope" I mean what would the point of this supposed feint, like what in this convoluted narrative was it supposed to achieve?
The copers were hoping there'd be some big breakthrough somewhere, anywhere, else, simple as that. That was way in the north of the country, so if Russia had been able to gain a big chunk in the East or South, particularly the South since taking Odesa and linking up with that other breakaway region and totally cutting Ukraine from the sea was another real strategic goal, they'd have said >"well by attacking the capital and area opposite our true objective we got their whole army out of position and secured the truly important south bridge"
and that would have been their line. They could even have somewhat plausibly said >"well sure, we'd have been happy to take the north and capital too, but in terms of our interests the South is the most truly important so we won either way."
Of course instead they were dogshit on every single front so the entire thing got memoryholed.
>Aight milgays, who knows how many Estonia has to begin with?
Actual estonian here: We literally have(had) 24 FH-70-s. Rest of artillery are SPG-s - korean K9-s namely and now 6 Himars on order, which should be arriving in year and a half.
I think Putin miscalculated, expecting the baltic states to cower in fear, focus on reinforcing their own defences and trying as much as possible not to attract russia’s attention.
And it was the complete oposite, you guys were the first to send deadly stuff to ukraine. And now, every weapon and ammo you send doesn’t weaken you, because each russian killed, every russian vehicle destroyed in Ukraine, makes your country safer.
Well played. Although small, you showed you were a constructive addition to Europe.
t.french (a little ashamed our president was so slow to switch gears)
Truth is we kind accept that in case of Russian invasion we would be overrun quickly, our actual reason for joining NATO is a coming reconquest after the initial strike
Putin just kicked the Estonian Ambassador out of Russia yesterday and more or less acted like they are already in an undeclared war with Estonia because Estonia told the Russian Embassy to get rid of people cause they're tired of dealing with their spying attempts.
the real reason behind sending out the ambassador was that we wanted to have less diplomats in the russian embassy in tallinn because some international agreement says that countries embassies should have same number of people but russian embassies have multiple times more people working in them than our embassy in moscow. so we sent out 21 russian diplomats and russia was upset over it
it was 13 diplomats and 8 other employees working in the embassy*
anyway we did nothing wrong, the fact that other countries let an unproportional number of russian diplomats work in their capital despite russia agreeing to the vienna convention on diplomatic relations, here's the link for it https://legal.un.org/ilc/texts/instruments/english/conventions/9_1_1961.pdf
its no form of declaration of war its just russia seething because they got caught cheating, the issue will be brought up in the EU, latvia already followed what we did and i hope other european countries do the same, expect the obvious ones
Balts were sending lethal shit way back in 2015, mostly out of spite, but the thing is that we were prepared to get fricking shafted anyway if monke chimped out back then, because nobody was sure if france and germany would not cuck out, so why not put good kit to use if thats the reality if the situation ?
Not even Poles have had to deal with the Black personish behavior of russians as much as Baltics have, and even so for 30 they tried to be civil with both Russian state and the ex-soviet diaspora living in their country
The Korean SPGs aren't being given out, some old FH-70 are.
https://kyivindependent.com/news-feed/estonia-to-give-ukraine-all-its-155-mm-howitzers-in-largest-aid-package-so-far
They seem to have been the only 155mm arty Estonia had a few years ago. So I bet these were still being active then. Now being phased out with new Korean SPGs.
Well [...], seems that I was right, by accident lel

>Dozens of FH-70 155mm and D-30 122mm howitzers
They are reserve equipment so they don't show up on the shit site Wikipedia has become.
Probably 50-100 to be honest. Not bad.
> The Embassy notes that this is the largest package of military assistance provided to Ukraine, with a total value of 113 million euros. It included dozens of 155 mm FH-70 and 122 mm D-30 howitzers, thousands of 155 mm artillery shells, hundreds of M2 Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launchers with ammunition, and means of supporting artillery units.
The numbers I've seen floating around is 18 Fh-70 + 36 D30. Although we've already given some before so the total number is higher, this is just all that's left.
D30 is wrong calibre anyway so no loss there, but the 155s were supposed to go to our badly under-equipped territorial defenses, so that's a bit of a shame, but they will do good in Ukraine.
they appear to have the following, based on wikipedia: >18-24 K9 Thunder 155mm >24 (?) FH-70 155mm (towed howitzer)
they also have around 42 D-30 122mm howitzers, though they've already donated a lot of these already.
Estonia plans to close the Gulf of Finland for russia, Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu says.
Estonia is planning to introduce a coastal "contiguous zone" in the Gulf of Finland, which will cut off russian shipping and allow the country to inspect russian warships and civilian vessels.
Exactly how would Estonia appose this contiguous zone with basically no navy?
every country with any access to the sea has a contiguous zone. we are just considering enforcing it now, which means oing what literally every other country with access to sea does
About tree fiddy
And it was about that time I noticed it wasn't FPBP at all, it was a goddamn munsta from the Ediacaran Era!

OP, How exactly do you get from

?

Wise in light of current events. Towed arty can't scoot fast enough.
Males sense to me, for any system deployed to a modern battlefield in small numbers mobility is key because that's the only way to stay alive
Germany doesn't even possess any towed artillery

What was even the justification of the feint narrative? I don't mean "it's cope" I mean what would the point of this supposed feint, like what in this convoluted narrative was it supposed to achieve?
Make themselves feel better that they utterly mismanaged the northern front
Yes you and I both know it's copium (before they had to dip into the tzar's personal reserve to have anything to huff). But in the made up narrative, what was the point of the feint?

Plausible, but there weren't any elite troops in Kyiv, the Russians were stopped mainly by TDF.
Like I said a precondition for such a plan would be the competence to execute it.

They seem to have been the only 155mm arty Estonia had a few years ago. So I bet these were still being active then. Now being phased out with new Korean SPGs.
K9 is just M109 with Korean modifications, no?
no, it’s just police dogs.
They do have the similarity of both being 155mm SPGs
But otherwise completely different
Oh, I was thinking of a completely different Korean 155mm, the K55.

Better to toil than to bleed.
Kill more vatniks.
Slava Ukraine or something.
Less than 50
Chicken shits want the USA to protect them if they're ever invaded rather than defending themselves.
Yeah thats basically the agreement when you become someone's vassal. Especially if you are very small.
Canada should do this with it Leopard 2s. Otherwise they'll never fire a shot in anger again and will just rust away in Canada unused and unupgraded.

It's trying to provoke a response from Russia so they can call NATO in. Would be pretty based.
Have their allies do it for them.
we will just throw a really big chain to finns and hold a rope pulling contest followed by wifecarrying contest
fake clickbait news
every country with any access to the sea has a contiguous zone. we are just considering enforcing it now, which means oing what literally every other country with access to sea does
The estonians sure got moxie, or some serious stones, maybe more like stonians
murrikans called our lads stonemen in afghan.
Eesti chads, I kneel
They have what looks to be 145 towed artillery cannons.
