Ebony and ivory

I know these are fictional guns, but there isn't anything that couldn't be made irl. But my question is, what is this block under the barrel/muzzle? Is it a rail? A extention to the recoil spring or some kind of housing/cover?

Weights to reduce recoil. Used mainly on match pistols.

Judging by the screw at the muzzle end, I assumed it was what the comp was mounted to.

          It's a 3D printed toy.

Lightning cuts. The HK match weight that it’s styled after reduced weight that way.

            >add a weight to the pistol to add mass
            >put lightening cuts in it to reduce the mass you added

You dont want it to be front heavy.

They wanted a shroud to cover the extra 2 inches of barrel and to balance the gun. It doesn’t need to be super heavy. My aluminum one balances fine, the steel one would be front heavy

Yes but a bottom comp is a moronic choice. Also 3d printed in PLA so it will probably melt or explode.

    >fictional guns

Some guns are pure fantasy, but the DMC Ebony and Ivory are just modified 1911's chambered in 45 ACP. I'm sure at some point someone somewhere has made handguns more or less similar. You could ask and make 1:1 accurate replicas of them if you wanted to.

That was an idea, but I was going to try and build one myself. Going over different parts I found most modifications except for those bars/weights.

If you do find it let me know, everything I've seen so far includes all the parts except for those.

Judging by the screw at the muzzle end, I assumed it was what the comp was mounted to.

I could be wrong but I don't think that's hoe they are mounted. Watching a few videos a comp should just "pop" in with a twist

      OMG, opposing ejection ports.

I know, when paired together and ejected casing going in opposite directions looks so sexy.

How come a guy who can cut a building in half and carries a hundred magical missiles in a box uses bog standard .45?

He could throw the guns and do more damage.
